Paired with this update is a weeklong sale for the Online Mode DLC at 50% off. If you've been having a blast solo in Rogue Glitch, this will be a great time to buddy up for half the price!
New Additions:
- "Nibble", a new Character with randomized stats! - Modifiers, including "Seeded Runs", "Random Enemies" and "Glitches Only". (Accessible when all Items are unlocked!) - Save and Continue between Zones - Skip final Zone Malfecto dialogue in Offline Play
Fixes and Changes:
- The Corrupt Trader will reward more Items when exchanging 6 or more corrupt Pickups - The Health Eater takes two hearts a lot less frequently - Shopkeeper has more HP in later zones - Fixed Skins on "Luna" not appearing properly - Fixed Pickups and Items dropping in unreachable areas - Fixed "MagicStick" Item to prevent transforming enemies in unreachable areas - Fixed "Bat" spawning in unreachable areas - Fixed floating point errors on stat changes - Fixed "Stake Launcher" canceling out "Piercing Shots" - "Skull Deal" will take 30 Coins or 2 Items if the player doesn't have enough Coins - Zone 6 Levels tweaks - Zone 4 difficulty adjusted - In "Offline Mode" the game will not spawn your character's rare starting Items - Reworked Jump Synergy Item - "ExtraJump" Items are a lot more common now

Rogue Glitch Full Launch and Free-2-Play Update!
Rogue Glitch is entering its next form with a full launch today!
Before talking about the new patch, I would like to thank all the people who joined me in Rogue Glitch during the Early Access. Your support during these early days was a huge help, especially all the feedback provided here and on the Discord channel. Life as a solo developer has never felt so connected as it does now.
Free 2 Play Singleplayer (+Local Co-op)
One of the biggest changes arriving with today's launch is that the Singleplayer mode is going Free 2 Play. I've been working on this game for a couple years now and I'd like to give everyone the opportunity to try it. The multiplayer functionality will now be available as a DLC extra for those who have enjoyed their experience and want to share it with friends online.
Of course all current owners of Rogue Glitch from the Early Access period will retain multiplayer functionality. It should automatically be enabled for you but let me know if you have any problems.
New Content
The latest patch has also come online bringing new content: -The final Glitchworld "The Creator's Domain" where you'll meet Malfecto, God of Glitches for the last time... Or is it? -13 new item unlocks (Missile Boots, Explosive Pooper, Health Shield, Multithreading) -QOL tweaks including more forgiving stomps and balance changes to zone 4 -Win Streaks for beating the game with increased difficulty each time (up to 5)
And 2 New Characters!
Meet Glitch Pixel rewarded for the first 6-zone completion of the game. Starting the game with just 1-HP, Glitch Pixel is a glass cannon with +50% increase DMG and Firerate.

Rogue Glitch Leaves Early Access Tomorrow!
As from tomorrow Rogue Glitch will be leaving Early Access with new content and a Free 2 Play offline mode. You guys have made this such a fun project to work on over the last 18 months and it is now time for Rogue Glitch to spread its wings and welcome the world.
Stay tuned for the announcement tomorrow for more information on the new content and the singleplayer Free 2 Play mode. Multiplayer will become a DLC extra ($4.99) for those who wish to play with friends. Of course, I want to take this opportunity to say that all owners of the Early Access version will not need to make any additional purchases, and have multiplayer unlocked already.

Twitch & Discord Integration for Rogue Glitch!
Hello everyone,
Rogue Glitch is receiving an exciting update today to bring Twitch streaming integration with a load of functionality for viewers to influence a streamers game. The audience will be able to help out by spawning cooperative drones and selecting powerful items in chests, or plot the demise of the player by placing special enemies in the rooms ahead.
Getting Set Up!
If you’d like to introduce Rogue Glitch’s Twitch Integration to your stream, it’s super easy! When you first launch Rogue Glitch from Steam, select the "RogueGlitch Twitch Mod" launch option. After pressing start game, simply paste your channel URL into the Twitch field and push connect.
How It Works
Rogue Glitch is now able to pick up certain commands from your chat channel. There is no intrusive code accessing the streamers local client - all information is read from the streams chat.
What Now?
Enjoy! Jump into a run as you usually would and Rogue Glitch will handle the rest. At intermittent points the game will present opportunities for viewers to vote! Currently they are able to pick upcoming special enemies and vote on the items the player will receive from chests. They can also show their support by donating bits which will equip the player with a random friendly drone to assist.
Discord Functionality
Rogue Glitch now allows you to invite friends to your game via Discord. Additionally you can broadcast an invitation to the official Rogue Glitch Discord Server to find new people to play coop with if you want to make friends and overcome greater challenges.

ROGUE GLITCH - THE CORRUPT CONTENT UPDATE
Greetings, glitchers!
Before I jump into what’s included in this update, I wanted to give a big thank you for playing Rogue Glitch. Your feedback and support has been exceptionally helpful in my journey in developing the game.
In celebration of the update’s release, Rogue Glitch is 30% off for seven days ending on Friday the 24th! With a revamped game experience, additional content, music, and improvements to early progression, now is a great time to welcome new players and/or to bring a friend with you into the fray.
Let’s take a look at what’s new in the Corrupt Content Update!
New Content
The power of the glitch-world has brought in a fresh range of creations to bolster your arsenal and new foes to turn into pixel-dust! Make room for:
- 4 new Zones (2 reworked) to discover... - 3 new Bosses to defeat - 20 new Items to collect - 11 new Enemies to encounter - 2 new Characters to unlock - 5 new Special Rooms to find - 7 new Music tracks, + some ambience
- A new color option available in the game's settings - Numerous fixes, improvements, and QOL changes
New weapons include a beam-bending laser, poison cloud augments and carpet-bombing cluster grenades. You’ll be pitted against tough new enemies like the warping Monster Worms (inspired by nightmares) and a rare abominable glitch boss. Pick up a master key for access to any chest you’d like and keep a close eye out for some of the new secret rooms.
I’d like to introduce you to Bob, possibly the cutest of characters (Well, who can compare with Baby! Second cutest). He will generate an impenetrable shield while performing a downward stomp, adding defense to your offense!
A new option has been added to the game settings menu called “Simple Enemy Colours”. Turning this on will make all enemies the same colour to make identifying threats easier when things get a bit hectic.
Changes
The “completion” system has been reworked to bring tangible progression to new players at the beginning of the game. You will start with just one world and completing it will start to unfold the mysterious forces behind Rogue Glitch (#NoSpoilers). With each completion, a new world will be added to increase the challenge of getting to the end and advancing your adventure. This will continue increasing until your runs become five worlds long per completion.
This shift in the world means savedata is being reset, however if you had previously unlocked items you will receive double XP!
In addition, I have made balancing tweaks to existing characters, items, enemies, and overall difficulty in some areas.
Music
Failpositive has brought even more upbeat electronic energy to the Corrupt Content Update with 7 new vibrant tracks, and many special rooms are now outfitted with ambience. All of these wonderful new tunes are now available to listen to on Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and YouTube! Here is one of them we’re featuring here:
Psst, there’s also a new sweet-sounding secret character hiding behind the scenes… Look carefully you might find him!

Rogue Glitch Update 1 - New Challenges, Items, New Character, Tweaks and AMA! (v0.102)
Thank you to everyone who has ventured into Rogue Glitch in these early and exciting times! Over the weekend I’ve built the beginning of the challenge system and Steam achievements. Each of these challenges offer a new item for your pool as a reward and the “Untouchable” challenge will grant you access to the latest playable character, Igor.
Igor benefits from a stacking rage affect that increases damage output for a short duration after destroying an enemy. Igor rewards a swift and aggressive playstyle (and may be a tad strong at the moment so give it a whirl before the balance-hammer comes knocking!)

Patch Notes
- Challenges implemented (Should sync with Steam achievements shortly)
- Character “Igor” added
- Balance changes to reduce unfair spikes in difficulty

- Tweaked numerous items, most important changes:
- "Corrupt Items" are more common now
- "SpinningMace" damage increased
- "IceCube" lower chance to freeze but higher freeze duration
- "GoldenAmulet" reduced chance, reduced enemy golden-state duration
- "Grenade" damage increased
- "ExplosiveLove" explosion immunity applied to the whole team
- "MissileBarrage" missile count increased
- "DamageBoost" reduced damage

Rogue Glitch launches in Early Access today!
It feels like just yesterday that Rogue Glitch was a fun little Unity movement prototype on my computer. Two years on, here we are on Steam going into Early Access for the world to see! I’d like to thank all the wonderful people who have been providing awesome feedback over the last year and supporting me with their encouragement.
The months ahead will bring many updates to Rogue Glitch; currently I am working on additional difficulties because I know the super-skilled players will be looking more challenges shortly! In the meantime, I would love to hear your feedback on the current build in the Steam Community Hub.
