Update 083001 - Matchmaking and Major Improvements
Our latest update is live. We had a minor setback and took some extra time but we give you the biggest update after Early Access Release. We have changed the matchmaking system completely, with a whole new map and some bug fixes.
FUNCTIONALITY BULLET DROP Sniper Bullet trajectory is now dependent on Distance, Speed and Gravity.
CONTROLS Key Remapping added for switching 'Equip HandGun' and 'Next Track'
BUG FIX SUPPORT CLASS WEAPON SWITCH Now switching from Tazor to Handgun will not duplicate tazor bullet count on handgun
MATCHMAKING Now all players will join an automated matchmaking, which uses a back-filling ticketing system to match any 12 players from the region on first come basis. With the new Matchmaking System, players will join into the lobby heist game mode with 1 minute cashout round system and 1 random weapon per round.
GAMEPLAY FPS CAP INCREASED TO 75 As a constant process of optimization & improving the game performance, We have increased the max FPS limit to 75.
CROUCH Delay added between two consecutive crouches removing crouch spam. Crouch camera movement made smooth, removing camera flicker.
Update 082501 - Matchmaking and Major Improvements
We have just uploaded a Major Update in our Matchmaking System which will help in finding matches faster. We have also added multiple bug fixes and improvements. Details mentioned below.

Field of View(FOV) slider added under VIDEO category in SETTINGS menu to change FOV within a certain defined range as per the design choices.

Matchfinding Alogirthm modified. On click play, player will be matched with any 11 players in the same server. After successfully joining a server, Players can now vote for the game mode of their choice.

Hey Everyone, We would like to thank everyone for the feedback and support. We have been constantly in development and have updated some of the major issues and have added a new campaign in our game. FIXING ROGUE HEIST. You can leave your reviews and bug reports inside the game. We will constantly keep updating and developing according to the feedback from all of you.
Here is the list of some of the issues we have solved and features added.
Gameplay -Shoulder swap updated with improved and smoother camera movement
-Added X mark to represent whether collision ahead while shooting fixing the issue of shooting through obstacles when crosshair not blocked.
-Scope view zoom in location changed from crosshair to Sniperscope which avoids hiding behind obstacle and shooting. Also prevented scope zoom through obstacles.
Bug Fix -Hacking Flow fixed where you cannot hack and dual package appears
Matchmaking -Joining in same team as a party instead of joining randomly even when in a party

This is our first game and we are working day and night to make sure we bring the best out of this game.
We know all of you have been facing server lags and various other issues in the game and we want you all to know that we are trying our level best to make your gaming experience with Rogue Heist better.
All your feed backs and reviews are taken into consideration and a lot of things including the servers have been fixed.

A LETTER TO THE COMMUNITY
Hello Heisters,
Today is the day we have all been waiting for; as a studio gearing up for our first PC game “ROGUE HEIST” to be launched and as a community, the trust and patience that you guys have shown to us is what makes everything in between and after worth it.
Rogue Heist is all set to release on Steam on 19th August, 2019 and we are more than excited to finally share it with you. Since there are so many of you who have been with us in this journey for more than a year or so, we would like to take this moment to reflect and share all that we have been through to reach here with you.
Let’s start with the firsts of first and like any other studio releasing its first game we too thought that the release is going to be that one moment when everything will be done and ready but truth be told, we had too many of those. It all began with the first beta we hosted in July 2018 and planned to release in August 2018 but everything changed after the feedback we received. Everyone who participated in the beta had something to say and we are more than thankful for all the feedback we got because Rogue Heist has evolved only because of the constant feedback it has got.
Since then, we have constantly improved the game and even kept an open mind regarding the game design to incorporate changes to make the game better than before. We firmly believe in one thing and one thing only; anything that helps make the game better gets a go ahead. In all this time we have planned to release the game numerous times only to face another snag forcing us to push the release.
Our hearts are swelled with Joy and pride this time when we say, WE ARE READY. We are ready and thrilled to share with you the fact that Rogue Heist is finally coming on PC on 19th August, 2019. While experiencing our share of firsts, we have been able to make a small yet close knit community, committed enough to support Rogue Heist which keeps us going.
These last two years of development are easily the most nerve-wracking, exciting days that we at Lifelike have experienced. From last minute technical issues to persistent bugs to supporters who have held their end all along and critics who have given their best; without all you out there we wouldn’t have been here at all. The expectations of the community kept us running and we really want to exceed and excel ahead of them. Our goal was to make a game that was fun and exciting and we believe we did just that.
We initially planned Rogue Heist to be a premium game but after a month long beta we hosted in June 2019 & the feedback we received, it became obvious that Rogue Heist must release as a Free-To-Play title. The only reason for taking this decision is to get enough player base in the game, enabling everyone to find a match easily. Hopefully this is going to solve this challenge that we faced in the beta. For all those who paid for Standard, Premium, or Ultimate Edition are going to get special characters as unlocks while every new player is only getting a standard edition of the game while everything else has to be unlocked. There will be a detailed blog/ FAQs regarding all possible things that you might want answered in regards to going FTP from a paid game. Please follow us on our social media channels or discord for updates and announcements while we will also put up these FAQs on our website & in the game too.
Rogue Heist is never going to be a PTW game and we take special care to make sure that the balance is intact. Having said so much, the game will still have bugs, balance issues, creative differences, possible game breaking bugs and other technical issues which we can only face when the game goes live.
From here on Rogue Heist doesn’t only belong to us, it belongs to you equally; it’s going to be shared equally because that’s the beauty of the gaming community, whatever it shall become from hereon, we are ready to share that with you. We hope Rogue Heist is something that can evolve and adapt to be with you over many years to come and we are ready to do whatever it takes to make it.

Beta 4 Patch Notes and Updates

While hacking - deploy shield while hacking animation, character movement gets back to normal and if you are in the region, you can continue the hacking.
While hacking, if someone disables your beacon and starts hacking, does not show your hacking failed. Instead lets you finish hacking makes the character stuck in the hackling loop and only can be fixed by starting hacking again and cancelling it. Also, the jump gets blocked.

Beta 2 is live, we are testing one of the TDM mode (GANG WAR) today. Among various bug fixes done for the bugs reported, PUSH TO TALK is the most significant feature added. Now players can communicate better.

It's good to have so many of you on board already, all set for our Closed beta happening this weekend. This is the first of the few beta tests we will be hosting before launching Rogue Heist this summer.
The Beta will happening between 14th June - 17th June and servers will be live at the following times:
12 PM ET to 2 PM ET
9 AM PT to 11 AM PT
4 PM UK - 6 PM UK
12 AM JST to 2 AM JST
There’s so much fresh content and updates we want you to experience through the weekend by participating and helping us grow bigger and better. But still, we must tell you that playing the beta version of Rogue Heist may feel buggy or instilled with some issues and that’s where we will need all your help; in bug reporting and testing servers both.
