Hey all! I figured I should take a break from adding new enemies and biomes for this build and clean up some of the core game mechanics. I hope you guys will enjoy actually levelling up past levels 10-13 since I adjusted the level up algorithm among many other things!
Roguelands v0.5.9
Upon levelling up, you will gain +1 in both of your primary stats that you picked in character creation
BUT... Every THREE levels, you will instead gain stats equal to your starting race stats (Wanderer would get +1 VIT, +1 STR, and +1 FTH every 3 levels)
So now there is more meaning to picking primary stats and a race because of your stat growth.
Also, gear levelling up will have a similar system. Upon levelling up, instead of adding 1 to every stat that isn't 0, you will add the base gear stat(excluding item tier bonus).
So a Lvl.1 Aetherlance[1,2,1,0,0,0] at Lvl. 5 will have [5,10,5,0,0,0]. This system will make starting stats have substantial differences because it is stat growth and not a flat bonus.

Things might seem easier since players will probably getting much higher stats quicker. If this is the case then the next build we'll see some further changes to either player stats or enemy stats.

Hey all! I finally added planet art for the molten crag. Too many times people messaged me about the mashed up biome art that was buggy lookin. But now you guys can marvel at the awesome lava place while getting WRECKED by the lava dragon and his minions. Oh and there are cute little fire slimes too.

Got a massive build for yall today! New cards, new rings, new enemies, fleshed out Byfrost planet, and the Gear Chalice is in town!
Based on what you do in the previous planet (enemies killed, things harvested, objectives complete etc.) it will generate the appropriate amount of EXP for whatever gear slot you'd like! Also harder biomes grant a small bonus to this EXP too.

Thanks for the support and good luck collecting all these new cards and rings. Be careful of those enemies in the Byfrost, they are quite tough. The bosses didn't make it into this build because of all the other stuff but next build for sure.

Hey all! I've got some exciting stuff to show you this week. Plaguelands is now filled with fun stuff to play around with BUT be careful of the boss he's quite nasty... Actually all of the enemies there are extremely tough.
ALSO I added Collector Cards! Enemies have a 1/75 chance to drop their unique card which can be displayed in your ship. Right now I only made cards for enemies in the first two planets so gimme a few days and I'll upload the rest so yall can work on completing your collections!

Roguelands v0.5.5 Wipes All Data
This is pretty horrible. I switched from using Unity's sluggish PlayerPrefs to PreviewLab's much faster PlayerPrefs system for saving all of the data. You'll notice loading your ship and levels will be MUCH quicker. Players used to experience lag for up to 10 seconds before being able to return to the main screen after saving, and some even had their game consistently crash.
I did not foresee this new system overwriting old data, and for that I'm sorry. But I promise this will be the one and only wipe ever for Roguelands. I'm sorry I couldn't warn you earlier, but this game will be much more playable for many users with slower PCs and the time it takes to save all of your inventory, storage, and ship data will be nearly 10 times as fast.
I want to apologize to all of you cadets who put forth a ton of work and time into your high leveled characters. I hope you understand the importance of this new system, and you can be assured there will be no more wipes ever.
