For almost a full year after releasing Early Access we have listened to your feedback and worked hard on giving you the best possible experience we can of the game you all enjoy and love. In this process we have added the Hall of Heroes, various stats tracking, 5 levels of AI to play against, fixed numerous bugs and added significant visual and UX improvements.
From the very beginning we stated our intention was to make a cross-platform online multiplayer before exiting Early Access and making an official release. Well, the wait is finally over! We are ready to announce that cross-platform online multiplayer is implemented, tested out and ready to launch!
The game will exit Early Access on Apr 20th, 2023.!
New features will include:
Cross-platform online multiplayer - play against any player in the world, playing on any platform (Steam, iOS, Android)
Create both public and private games
Cross-device play - you will be able to start an online game on one device and finish it on another.
As usual, we also squeezed in some additional bug fixes and minor improvements.
Thank you all for being part of this journey with us. It has been a hell of a year. Special thanks to our faithful and always helpful beta testers and our Discord community. Your feature suggestions, bug reports and enthusiasm really made this game better in ways we couldn't even imagine at the beginning of this process.
Best regards,

Release Notes (Dec 2) - improvements and fixes
We have released iOS and Android versions recently. These are the improvements we made and that we now bring to Steam version as well:
What's new:
Best heroes and recent games can be opened to preview character sheets in more detail.
AI settings for your last local game are saved and preselected for the next game
Abandoned games are counted in stats
Setup phase - dice can be returned to the original slots while deciding where to put them
Roll phase - click on initiative dice should also initiate their roll
Phase popups can be disabled for singleplayer in general (i.e. in Solo or Local game vs AI only)
Added a footnote to the bottom of class cards reminding what certain attribute action does.
Added "Choose character" text on Solo tab in main menu
Pass & Play renamed to Local Game
Exit preview button animated
Added Back button to "Do you want to take attribute action" prompts.
Fixes:
Fixed: Concentrate was always trashed in Solo
Fixed: Executing Drud-Atuned ability with only 1 card in discard pile would make the game unable to continue
Thank you all once again for reaching out and contributing. Our focus is now completely on online multiplayer and exiting Early Access.
Best regards!

We feel this now completes a major milestone in our effort to officially release Roll Player and exit Early Access. During the last couple of months we received a lot of feedback and although it took longer than expected to address it adequately, we hope it was worth the wait. Thank you all once again for reaching out and contributing.
We now continue with our original plan. After a small update and release on mobile platforms, we will focus our efforts on implementing online multiplayer and then exiting Early Access.
Stay tuned!

AI opponent and other news
Hi,
we have listened to your comments and decided we will create an AI opponent. Solo mode will still be in the game so you can choose your preferred way of playing.
This will prolong an Early Access phase of the game a bit but we want to give you the best experience that we can. In the meanwhile, we are preparing a smaller update next week including:
ability to click on cards on the end game screen so you can see where your scoring is coming from
small hover tooltips to help you keep track what's affecting your attribute score
in game menus for backstory and alignment so you can remind yourself of their story and how they score
Enemy phase in solo game so you can see a die roll and how it determines which card gets trashed in the market
bug fixes that you reported
other minor usability improvements
Thank for being a part of this and helping us make a better game.
