G.Round Showcase

We're pleased to announce that for a limited time, you'll be able to play Rough Justice: '84 before the public release. This has been made possible through our good friends over at G.Round.
G.Round is a platform that allows gamers to be an early glimpse of games and more crucially, allows them to give developers their honest-to-goodness feedback, which is extremely valuable.

HOW TO SIGN UP

It's pretty straightforward! Just mosey on over to their website, register and you'll be given a test key.

It is worth pointing out that this test phase is only for a limited time and the G.round build varies significantly with the fact that the SAVE GAME FUNCTIONALITY has been disabled.

FEEDBACK

example of how you COULD give feedback ;)

Jesting aside, your honest feedback is crucial to us as developers! Quite often we suffer from tunnel vision and are so wrapped up in the development process, we end up focusing on the wrong things. The most important this is that players have an enjoyable experience, and testing and getting feedback is essential for that process. Bottom line: if you end up checking out the game then please do us a solid and give us some feedback!

Agent Loyalty

Each agent has a base loyalty value. This is a flexible number that changes depending on the outcome of contracts. If an agent's loyalty dips below a certain level it will have negative implications. On the flip side, if your agent's loyalty is high, then buffs will be activated.

This would be for example a trigger to notify the player that the agent is unhappy. If the agent's loyalty gets to ZERO then another trigger is called, and the agent leaves for good.

There are five different loyalty levels.

Level 1: Agent Wages Increased by 20% / Travel Costs increased
Level 2: Agent Wages Increased by 10% / Travel Costs increased
Level 3: No variable changes (baseline)
Level 4: Agent wages decreased by 10% / Travel Costs decreased
Level 5: Agent wages decreased by 20% / Travel Costs decreased

Each agent starts out at level 3, which is the baseline, which does not have any positive or negative implications.
