We hope you are all doing fine in the new year. Our team is hard at work implementing more and more features into our game.
Today we wanted to present you with two of them.
Firstly, Car Wash System, as you ride along Route 66 and many of the deserted areas along the road, your car will get dirtier and dirtier and none of us wants to have our beautiful Muscle Cars all dirty and in mud.
So that is why we have placed Car Washes along the road, so that as a player for a small fee you can get your car cleaned up.
When you enter the Carwash a cutscene plays out showing your beautiful vehicle starting to shine again.
And after we are done our car looks like a brand new vehicle.
We also have a video for you showing how it works inside our game.
The other thing we have been working on is the Deformation System, which allows for destruction of our vehicle, when our car hits obstacles. Car damage is divided into 3 levels of destruction. The damage occurs when the car hits at high speed (40mph+), where after each impact, the level of damage increases. After reaching destruction level 3, the car no longer destroys itself. To repair your car, you need to come to the workshop and repair the car for money.

Devlog #14 - Holiday Season!
Hello Dear Fans,
As you know festive time is upon us and we wanted to give you some presents as well.
We are happy to show you the Off-Road version of our car. As you can see it has much larger tires that are prepared for offroad adventures as well as removed top, to better enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding us on Route 66.
We are also working hard on our Prologue version, so be sure to add our game to your wishlist, so that as soon as we post info regarding it you will be notified.

Devlog #13 - Gas Station Renovation
Hello Dear Fans,
It's been a while since our last Devlog, but today we come to you with a new, exciting addition to our game. Over the past few weeks, our team has been hard at work improving various aspects of gameplay in our game and adding new features. Today, we would like to introduce one of them.
Gas Station Renovation - as we call it, is a type of mission where you receive the task of cleaning up an old, abandoned gas station and restoring its long-lost glory.
First you will be tasked with cleaning old graffiti and dirt off the walls and floors.
Then once you are finished, you will move on to getting rid of old furniture and what better way than a good old sledgehammer!!
Once you are done cleaning the station, you can move on to operating it. You start by creating your own Logo.
After that first customers will start arriving.
At the beginning you will only be able to refuel their cars (but you will have to be careful not to tank more gas than you are asked for, otherwise you will not receive tips).
And also fix their wheels using automatic lift.
After some time, you will be able to unlock new features for your gas station, using more and more difficult techniques to fix a car.

Devlog #12 - Bagdad Cafe and Photo Mode
Hello Dear Fans,
It has been some time since our last Devlog but our team was hard at work. We would like to sincerely thank all of you who have tested our Route 66 Simulator: The Free Ride Demo, we received over 100 surveys and we took a close look at all the suggestions and critiques you provided and started working on implementing them.
We were also hard at work on implementing new features and adding new historic locations to our game. Today we would like to showcase you Photo Mode, a system that allows you to take pictures of iconic Route 66 locations and storing their photos inside your album.
Here we have the location of “Bagdad Cafe”, recreated to match the look of one along Route 66.
As you can see we have spent a lot of time making sure to recreate all the outdoor details.
We have also spent a lot of time recreating furniture found inside to closely match it to real life reference.
Now let’s talk about Photo Mode. Here you can see the UI we have when you press [P], to open the Photo Mode.
As a player you will also have the ability to zoom in and out to easier take pictures the way you want to. After taking a picture they will be stored inside our character photo album with a name assigned to them.

Route 66 Simulator: The Free Ride - Livestream #2
Hello Dear Fans,
First of all thanks to all of you who have already tried and played our Demo. Your feedback is invaluable to us in further developing the title, our goal always was to deliver the best Route 66 driving experience for all of you and thanks to your suggestions we will be able to move forward with our development.
If you have not played yet, be sure to download our Demo before the end of Steam Next Fest and leave us suggestions either on Steam community or by filling the form provided at the end of the Demo.
Also remember to add our Prologue game to your wishlist so that you don't miss any new info regardit release date.
Starting today you will all be able to test Demo version of our Prologue to see all the improvements we have made since our last Demo earlier this year.

Route 66 Simulator - Playtest Started !
Hello Dear Fans,
We have a great news for you, after 2 weeks of signups we are finally starting our Playtests. Be sure to check out all the changes we have made since Demo version and remember to leave us your feedback. You can do it by filling out the form which is available in Main Menu of the game and also after finishing the Playtest. We hope you will have a lot of fun with the game.
Also remember to add our Prologue to your wishlist to receive news about it's release date.

In our latest Devlog we have informed you that soon we will be starting new rounds of Playtests, well know has come the time to start inviting you all to play.
Starting Now you can all visit our main page on Steam and click on button request access to be added to the waiting list. When we will launch our Playtest we will give access to selected number of players, so be sure to request your access as soon as you can, so that you don't miss the opportunity to play.

Route 66 Simulator - Devlog #11 New Round of Playtests
Hello Dear Fans,
We know it has been quite some time since our last post, but we were hard at work working on gathering all your feedback from Demo and making sure each issue gets addressed.
We are also working on new maps and locations, so today we would like to showcase you another map from our game, which is full of canyons and hidden surprises.
We have also added a player character inside a car, to make driving more realistic, you can see all these changes in the video below.
We also have one big announcement to make, on may 29th we will be starting a new round of Playtests for limited amount of players, so be sure to sign up as quick as you can, so that you will be among the first to have a chance to see all the changes we made to the game, as well as our newest map.
Also remember to add to wishlist our Prologue so you don't miss information when it will be releasing.

Route 66 Simulator Prologue Coming Soon
Hello Dear Fans,
It has been some time since our last Devlog, our team was hard at work implementing changes based on your feedback we gathered from the Demo version. If you want to you still can check out our Demo and leave us feedback either on Steam Discussion Page or using the survey we have provided in game, either way we are all extremely happy that so many of you tried our game and enjoyed it.
Today we have other great news to share, we are starting our Prologue Page on Steam. It will be called Route 66 Simulator: The Free Ride. The Prologue version will have many fixes and changes based on the things you pointed as that you wanted to be improved, also it will feature new map and different locations so that you can check out different parts of our game. It is still some time till it will release, but be sure to add it to your wishlist so that you don't miss any info regarding it.
