Rubber Bandits price is increasing on Steam!
We are increasing the price of Rubber Bandits on Steam to align with the other platforms. That means, that from Sunday May 28th Rubber Bandits will cost $9.99 (or the equivalent currency in your region).
We want to give you notice before it happens in case you have friends who are thinking about joining you on a crime spree. Now would be the time to do it if they want to save a few bucks!
The primary reason behind this price change is to ensure consistency across all platforms. Additionally, we have released several exciting (and chaotic of course) updates to keep the game fun and exciting, and we feel that adjusting the price is a logical step forward.
But hey, we didn't want you to feel left out of the loop. We value you, our awesome community, and we want to make sure you're in on the scoop before anyone else. You're a bandit. And we value bandits.
Spread the word like wildfire and rally your fellow crime-doers to grab Rubber Bandits before the price hike hits. Join the heist and get ready for rubber-tastic adventures, crazy challenges, and epic rubber-powered chaos like never before.

We are adding the Mexican streaming trio El Mariana, Aldo_Geo and Roier as skins in Rubber Bandits. The trio are among the most watched Spanish speaking streamers on Twitch with El Mariana being on the monthly top 10 worldwide several times.
They stream different games including Rubber Bandits which they took to the front page of Twitch with 120,000 concurrent viewers on our game. For that, we are humbled and believe some gratification is in order.

Next Update: 1.8 Quality of Crime
This update will only introduce a smaller number of new things like a dedicated throw button and a game mode tutorial but will primarily focus on fixing stuff thatās already there.
Among (sus) the quality of life updates are:
- Adjusted underdog bonus
- A shotgun / boxing glove glow-up
- Camera improvements
- Fixed barehanded combat being useless half the time
- Option to reset arcade progress

SCORING BIG UPDATE
- Crime Spree overhaul with Dynamic Points and adjusted scoring!

Dynamic Points and adjusted scoring!
Points you get in the round reflect the overall points you get when the round is over in point-based modes like Pork Pursuit, Snack Attack, Heist and Carnage. To not make the points go completely out of hand in a single round, we added a cap of 10 points modes and lowered the round time in those modes.
Since this makes for more overall points gained, we needed to balance the points in other last-man-standing modes like Brawl and Dodge Bomb by upping the numbers. Before, 1st place got you 5 points, for 2nd place 3 points, 3rd place got you 1 point and 0 for the last place. Now itās been changed to 7, 4, 2 and 0 to hopefully make the point spread more equal in all the modes.
This effectively makes the full Crime Spree games faster which is in line with our wishes of not fatiguing the players in a single session of Crime Spree. All of these changes mean many more crime sprees in a play session opening the opportunity for much more loot to be gained! And as they have a big impact on the balance, itās likely to be adjusted and perfected in the future after weāve taken your reactions and feedback into consideration. We hope you like it!
