2018-19 Season Update DLC

We are excited to announce the launch of our new 2018-19 Season Update DLC for Rugby Union Team Manager 2017!



This update includes the following:-


  • Updated English Premiership teams, Fixtures, Squad lists + Stats and kits.
  • Updated Pro 14 teams, Fixtures, Squad lists + Stats and kits.
  • Updated Top 14 teams, Fixtures, Squad lists + Stats and kits.
  • Updated Pro D2 teams, Fixtures, Squad lists + Stats and kits.



If you purchase the 2019 Season DLC update, but still wish to play with your old saved games, please just untick the Installed checkbox in the DLC section of the Library page in Steam. To switch back to play with the 2019 Season DLC update, then please just tick the Installed checkbox.

Please note your old saved games created before the 2019 season update will not work with the new update, and any saved games created whilst playing with the new 2019 season update will not work or show up with the non-updated game

Also note:-
When you tick or untick the Installed check box in the DLC section of the Steam Library, it activates a download update.
So each time you tick or untick the Installed checkbox, you have to wait for the update to download.

Within this update there are some minor fixes for some infrequent issues, plus we fixed an issue with trophies not sometimes appearing in the trophy cabinets

This update fixes a recently inrtoduced bug with the occurance of long kicks into opposition try zones allowing players to touch it down in their own try zone and receive points for themselves.

Hi , we have done some further gameplay tweaks, and corrected a P14 club promotion / relegation issue in saved games.

This DLC features a full season 2017/2018 upgrade for Ruby Union Team Manager 2017 and it's coming very soon.

Tour Game added to Rugby Union Team Manager 2017
We have just added for free, a small separate game to RUTM2017, The Tour Game, which is now accessible via the game's main menu.
We hope that you will enjoy it.

Take control of an all British and Irish touring side, or play as the hosts New Zealand.
Pick your squad of 41 participants from a pool of players and organise your tactics and warm up matches, against southern hemisphere Super Championship club sides. Before then tackling a 3 match tests series against the world's best in 2D or 3D.

The French version of Rugby Union Team Manager 2017 is now available
Rugby fans will now be able to select whether to play the game in either French or English, from the game's Start Up screen.
Les fans de Rugby pourront maintenant choisir de jouer au jeu en français ou en anglais, à partir de l'écran de démarrage du jeu.

Alternative Software Ltd. confirme que la version française de Rugby Union Team Manager 2017 sera disponible sur PC & Mac à partir du 31 mars
