In Ruggnar, we've prepared you different modes to play with.
First, you will have the hand-forged Story mode in which you'll follow the story of the gruff dwarf Ruggnar in his quest to make his fortune.
But finishing the Story mode doesn't mean you've finished the game. You won't get rid of Ruggnar this easily! A Random Dungeon mode will generate a level in which Ruggnar will have to find the key to open a coveted treasure. Will you make it to the treasure alive?
On top of that, a Rogue-lite mode awaits you! Explore a 10 levels castle with increasing difficulty. No checkpoint, death is definitive here, failure is not an option. Gather gold as you might encounter your favourite merchant selling skills and upgrades. They will help him (and lower the number of gold that Ruggnar gathers) or hinder him (and increase the number of gold that Ruggnar gathers) in his quest to the reach the top of the castle. As nice as the merchant can be, he WILL retrieve what he sold you if you disappear.
Another mode might find its ways in Ruggnar if you finish the Story... Mirror mode: every level will be inverted!

Bored of your outfit during your adventure? Every dwarf should have a sense of fashion, Ruggnar is one of them as you can see.
Choose between different armors, helmets and multiple colors to be the most fashionable dwarf to ever explore the castle with more than a 1000 possibilities of outfit.
While adventuring in the deep and dangerous rooms of the castle, Ruggnar will collect precious coins. Ruggnar is somewhat of a ingenious dwarf and a fast learner but he needs help to avoid spending it all at the tavern. Help him by finding the merchant to enhance all the tools and abilities needed to ease your exploration and get even more money! From double jump to a companion helping you there is much to learn and find!
