It's been 523 days. A year and a half since our publisher, Devolver Digital uploaded the Announcement Trailer on the YouTube channel. The game development took even more time - countless hours, days without having too much sleep and work-life balance that disappeared just like your ammo will do in RUINER.
We are full of respect for the awesome community that kept their support throughout all this waiting time. Developing RUINER was in some sense comparable to playing it. At a glance, it's a challenge that is impossible to beat, but over time you keep getting better and better, kill bosses and finally reach the end. This is the time you and we have been waiting for.

RUINER launches tomorrow, game size reduced!
Hello Puppies,
RUINER is now less than 24 hours away! The excitement is super high in the studio, and it's time to toggle the no-sleep mode for all of us!
We've got important news for you. We've decided that RUINER won't be available for pre-load. However, in order to make your lives a little bit easier (at least at the beginning, because later, it will be much tougher, believe us), we've reduced the game file size from 21 GB to 10 GB only.
This has been done thanks to a compression. Not a single feature of the game has been removed, nor it is less complex than originally planned.
The game will be available on September 26th, starting from 7:00 AM PDT/3:00 PM BST.
In the meantime, prepare yourselves for the ultimate cyberpunk challenge!

RUINER is a brutal action shooter set in the year 2091 in the cyber metropolis Rengkok. A wired sociopath lashes out against a corrupt system to uncover the truth and retrieve his kidnapped brother under the guidance of a secretive hacker friend. Combine preternatural reflexes, augmented tools, and the arsenal of fallen foes to tear down and dismantle the corporate titans of virtuality dealers at HEAVEN.
The team behind RUINER is Reikon - an independent studio located in Warsaw founded in 2014 by four experienced game designers whose work includes the Witcher series, Dying Light, This War of Mine and Shadow Warrior.
