A new game version is now live, being 0.1.6! Several known bugs have been fixed, which should lead to a smoother experience playing the game. If you'd like to know which bugs exactly, you can check out the patch notes down at the bottom of this announcement.
Oculus Store Release
RUMBLE is now available for purchase on the Oculus Store! This means there's reason to expect a bunch of new fighters to start entering the arena soon. Let's give them all a warm welcome! Oculus and Steam fighters can be distinguished from one another by their Fighter Tag. Fighters from Steam will have the Steam logo next to their name, while Oculus fighters will brandish an Oculus logo instead.
Please be aware that this does not mean that RUMBLE can now be played on mobile VR devices, you still need a VR-capable PC to be able to play the game.
VR game of the year nomination
In case you missed it, nominations for the Steam Awards have begun. We decided to try and get RUMBLE nominated for VR game of the year 2022! Getting nominated would draw a lot of attention to the game, which in turn would probably result in a whole lot of new fighters joining in!
If you think RUMBLE is deservant of such an award, you can go and nominate it over on the Store Page, or by heading over to this announcement.
Coming up...
We recognize that RUMBLE is due for some new content, which is exactly what we're working on. We're not quite ready to share what it is just yet because there's still a bunch of work to do, but know that new content is on its way!
That's all for today, see you in the arena!

RUMBLE - VR game of the year?
Greetings proud RUMBLE fighters!
Two things are happening today.
RUMBLE is on sale!
First off, the Steam Autumn Sale! RUMBLE will be on sale for the entire duration of this Steam-wide sale event, so if you haven't picked up the game yet, or know of a friend who's been on the fence for some time, now's the time!
Steam Awards
Secondly, the Steam Awards kick off today! This means that you can now vote for the games you love to be nominated for the Steam Awards!
We've elected to have RUMBLE compete for the honorary title of VR game of the year. If you believe it to be deservant of that title, you can vote for RUMBLE either on the RUMBLE store page or on this announcement itself.
That's it! More game-related news coming very soon, so stay tuned!
Version 0.1.5 is here!
RUMBLE Version 0.1.5
Hello! Another Friday, another RUMBLE update. This one's a bit on the smaller side, like the last one.
We've altered a bunch of poses again, taking into account the feedback we received about patch 0.1.4. Our aim was to reduce the amount of "misfires" that occur. Misfire is a word we use for when a move is performed unintentionally. Some poses have been altered as a whole, while other poses have had their leniency lowered. This will undoubtedly result in a couple of moves no longer working the way you're used to, so please check out the Move Selector again to see which moves have changed.
We won't alter poses like this again for a good while, so you can safely study them well!
It's unlikely for there to be a patch again next week, as we aim to put time into improving our workflow and making preparations for the implementation of bigger features, like Voice Chat for example.
So until next time, we hope you keep having fun with the game! Cheers!
RUMBLE Version 0.1.5 Patch Notes
CHANGES
Using Uppercut on a grounded structure now adds angular momentum to the structure.
The Pose Ghost is now active even when no move has yet been selected on the Move Selector.
The Pose requirements for a plethora of moves have been altered.
Slightly increased the amount of time that has to pass before Hold and Flick can trigger again.
FIXES
Fixed a bug that caused structures to no longer collide with the ground after performing a certain sequence of modifiers on them.
Improved Visual Effect consistency across the board.
RUMBLE Version 0.1.4 has been deployed!
Greetings, fighters!
Another update has been deployed today, a smaller one this time around.
Pose Adjustments
We've adjusted almost all of the poses in the game. The point was to make performing moves feel a little more consistent, easier to perform, and to reduce how often a move is performed unintentionally. Some moves have been altered more drastically than others, you will not be able to perform every move the same way you have been previously.
Once you launch the game after installing the new patch, you will be confronted by a notification slab letting you know changes have been made to poses, prompting you to head over to the Move Selector. We highly recommend you take the advice and check out the moves on the Move Selector, you're bound to run into trouble performing certain moves without familiarizing yourself with the changes first.
There are more changes, which can be found in the patch notes below. Thank you for playing, and enjoy!
RUMBLE Version 0.1.4 Patch Notes
CHANGES
Altered the poses of almost all moves to varying degrees.
Added a system that notifies players whenever poses have been altered in a new game update.
Reduced the intensity of screen shake effects in the game's opening sequence.
FIXES
Fixed a bug that caused a friend to be removed from one's friend list after dismissing a notification.
Patched a hole in the Combat Study that would cause you to get stuck under the floorboards.
RUMBLE version 0.1.3 is now LIVE!
Greetings honorable RUMBLE fighters!
A new game version is here, and with it comes an array of additions and adjustments. Every single change can be found at the bottom of this post in the form of patch notes, but there are a few changes we'd like to cover in greater detail.
Custom Matchmaking
A new slider has been fitted to the Matchmaker. This slider can be used to adjust the range of fighters the matchmaker can set you up with. Let's briefly go over what settings you'll get exactly.
ANY RANK The default setting. Choosing this setting will allows you to match up with any player of any rank, provided their settings allows them to match up with you as well. This setting will get you into fights the fastest, keep that in mind when there are few fighters online.
SAME RANK ONLY This setting will only match you up with fighters who share your exact rank, and by extent have the same moves. If you really don't want to, you'll never have to face a higher-ranked fighter ever again. Do keep in mind that this means finding a suitable opponent can take a while longer.
1/2/3 RANK DIFFERENCES Use these settings to look for opponents just who're ranked slightly higher or lower than yourself. Setting it to 2 will allow for a maximum rank difference of 2, meaning you can match with fighters who share your rank as well as fighters who are between 2 ranks higher or lower. The same logic applies to 1 and 3.
FRIENDS ONLY This one will match you up only with fighters who are on your in-game friends list! Rank does not play a role when this option is selected, anyone from your friends list (who is also looking for a game with friends) is eligible for finding a game with! Everyone has at least one friend they occasionally feel the need to chuck rocks at, and now you're completely free to do so.
Combat Balance Adjustments
We've made a few tweaks to structures. The Ball is now slightly larger, this should make it easier to land hits with it. The Wall has been made taller, meaning it's harder to throw structures over it, and taller fighters are less likely to have their heads poking out over the top.
DISC We have altered the disc a bit. First of all it flies considerably less high, meaning shorter fighters will now too get to experience what it's like to get absolutely battered by an endless stream of rock cookies. Additionally, the speed at which the Disc moves has been reduced. This means that fighters have more time to respond to an incoming Disc, especially so at longer ranges. This also means that it's a little easier to combo with, so for example performing Disc into Stomp is now a little easier to do.
PILLAR The Pillar is now lighter, meaning it's more maneuverable. This should help make early game combat a little faster. The Pillar also less strong, it used to be as strong as the Cube, now it's been reduced to Ball-level strength.
IMPORTANT PRICING NOTICE
Before launch, we announced that the game would be priced at $20/€20. However, due a mistake we made configuring the prices before launch, up until today the price in Euros has been €16,79. We're now correcting that mistake, upping it to the €20 we originally communicated it would be. I should mention that anyone who has already purchased the game for the lower price will not be charged extra.
That's all we wanted to talk about for this update. Your feedback continues to be very valuable, and we appreciate any and all efforts to reach out and talk to us about your experience with the game. We know of several issues people are experiencing, and we're actively working to resolve them. We'll continue to closely monitor the Steam Forums as well as our Discord Server for feedback, don't hesitate to share your thoughts!
There are several things we're currently considering working on next. Voice chat, additional matchmaking game modes for example, but what the next update will look like exactly is still up for debate. In any case, it won't be too long until you hear from us about what we're doing next. So, stay tuned!
Until then we hope you continue to enjoy playing RUMBLE, see you in the Arena!
Matchmaking has been adjusted to allow players to choose who they will and won't match up with.

The Wall structure has been made taller.
The Ball structure's size has been increased.

The Disc structure's trajectory has been lowered, and travel speed has been reduced.
Adjusted notifications on the Phone to better communicate what to do next.

RUMBLE Stability Patch (0.1.2)
Hello everyone! First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who's been playing RUMBLE over the past weekend, it's been an incredible experience. Truth be told it's been a bit of a rocky road, but I have good news.
A new patch is now live! We wanted to get a few issues resolved as quickly as possible, so we spent the day working on some of the most commonly reported issues.
Furthermore, we plan to roll out another update this Friday. This update will not only feature more bug fixes but also expansions of existing systems. For example, we will try our best to add an option that will allow you to control the range of ranks you will match up with when matchmaking, meaning you could choose to never fight anyone that doesn't share your rank. There will be more info regarding this update later this week, so stay tuned!
In the meanwhile, we hope you continue to have fun with RUMBLE, cheers, and thank you!
