Build #478 with two new Maps!

Welcome to Build #478 with the bunch of these new additions and improvements:


  • An all new Map! Check out "Floating Appartements" (comes after "Tutorial 3")
  • Another all new Map! Check out "Empire Rage Building" (comes after "Community Map")
  • First options to change Controls (visual polishing + stickyness + more to come ;))
  • Added VSync, MotionBlur and AntiAliasing to the Graphic Options
  • Coins now feel fine in their place and shouldn't move after long idle times anymore
  • Fixed a couple small things in the LevelSelect-Menu
  • Made the Boosters talk a little less often to you
  • Retry-button in ESC-Menu
  • Improved the destructible Mesh in Tutorial 3
  • Unified Sound compression and quality
  • Nightlevel: renamed to "The Dark Jump"
  • The Dark Jump: replaced stupid-moving-platforms with multi-rocket-stabilized-obvious-direction-arrow-Platforms
  • Better visible hint for the "R"-Key in the tutorials (disappears after third use)

Update to Build #424

Fellow Rumpers! We've only been here for a little over 36 hours and we present the first update with todays improvements:


  • An all new map! Check out "Nightlevel" from the LevelSelect-Menu!
  • Random Cape-colors each time you load any map anew - to have some variety until we have the skins ready.
  • A new Ready-Set-Go! Countdown.
  • Added an Elevator-Platform to make the actual EndZone better visible.
  • Elevator now has a tick/cross-symbol to show if you've collected enough coins to operate it.
  • Fixed a couple of raging lightmaps.
  • Tweaked some greedy particle effects.
  • Improved performance in the "Community Map".
  • Resized some ObjectBounds to improve performance.
  • Updated the StartScreen-Menu graphics and the MOTD-Box.
  • Extended LevelDetails within the LevelSelect-Menu.
  • Added new Billboards (Tutorial- and Decoration-ones).
  • Really shiny Billboards (only affected by ViewDistanceBlur now and not pixelated anymore).
  • Added the first version of AudioControls (will be extended).
  • Inserted more LOVE™ in pretty much every Map (new objects/details + slight changes).

Last but not least:

We killed all of your highscores. And it was fun.

No seriously: it's not only that we removed a glitch in the Coins-Collected-Now-Activate-That-Elevator-Door-Thingy, but also that we want you guys to have several chances during these early days of RUMP! to achieve some highscores here and there.

We're going to reset them a couple more times during the next weeks - until we're done with our "Highscore Season"-system, so you can keep your trophies while we can change maps a bit and start new seasons.

Until then: enjoy the refreshing battles for the top tier ranks!

Alpha Demo released

Welcome to RUMP!

Our free alpha Demo (build #356) is now available to you on our Steam Store Page. We'll update this build pretty much daily with improved and added things - so keep an eye open on this page (or just restart your Steam client once a day, if it didn't check for and get updates already).

Currently we're working on: more settings (controls+audio+etc), more maps, better performance on slow PCs and several other things. Highscores may get reset a couple times until we're done introducing "highscore seasons".

If you stumble upon weird things please use the BugReport-feature within the ingame Options.
