Legend has it that the earliest people didn't wear clothes. When bad weather came, they couldn't do anything but huddle together for warmth and wait for it to pass. The weak and feeble gritted their teeth and endured the cold without help from anyone. People would die from exposure if there was a cold snap. They were slaves to the weather.
Then one night, the gods dispatched an envoy wearing clothes that were seemingly weaved from a rainbow. Just to look upon their brilliance was to be bathed in soft, soothing moonlight. Her name was Lunella, and she came to teach people how to weave clothes and survive winter's cruelty. This event marked the very beginning of our concept of beauty. Afterwards, a few pioneers popped up and started experimenting with dressing up. They designed new styles that focused not just on warmth, but on the beautiful and vibrant too.
After the people had mastered weaving, Lunella quietly made her exit. She has not been seen since. In order to honor the memory of Lunella's graciousness, people prepare their most beautiful clothes and come together every year at this time. The festival is meant to symbolize the permanence of Lunella's teachings. They will continue to be handed down and live forever in the minds of generations to come.

The time has come to give you an update about our upcoming plans. Today we want to share a sneak peek of what you can expect in the close future on Runes of Magic and what we have been working on lately.
Performance improvements
Yes, this is true, you are awake, the long-awaited performance improvement patch that is severely reducing the crashes of the client is coming very soon… with the Colorweave festival! With that patch we expect that the performances will be greatly improved, especially in big cities! We can’t say for sure that all crashes will be gone, but it should be a big step in reaching more stability in-game for most of you. Of course, we will monitor the feedback and results closely once it goes live.
Server Merges
We promised merges, and we are delivering them this summer. We are currently finishing our merge plans, so far we can only confirm that the new servers will not be merged.
We also have other plans for future content in the works. As soon as it gets a bit more concrete, we will inform you about that too. Thank you for reading and we wish you all a great summer.

Taborean Academy – Drop Boost Event (25.06. - 27.06.2021)
All the youngsters have been training hard with the instructors of the Taborean Academy. They've learned fast and experienced a lot, but even the mightiest of heroes need something more than pure brawn – they need good armor and reliable weapons to face the most dangerous monsters. Academy instructors have decided to help their students with the task of getting new equipment.
Between June 25th 00:00 AM (server local time) and June 27th 11:59 PM (server local time), there will be a +100% boost in drop rates! Do not miss this opportunity to get shiny new equipment for your adventurer's training!

Server Transfer Made Simple
Your hero has experienced thrilling adventure, overcome perilous ordeals and fought in epic battles. Is it now time to move on to new climes? It couldn’t be any easier!
Then this is your chance – transfer your character to the server of your choice now. All you’ll need is the Server Transfer Stone.
You can get the Server Transfer Stone in the shop. Plus, you also have a small chance of winning it as a reward in the Training Range event on the new servers.

A long time ago, the world was very chaotic. Nations were engaged in an endless war, and the people didn't dare imagine what tomorrow would bring. Many families were impoverished and displaced.
After a long time the war finally came to an end, and the craftsmen who had been forced to produce weapons used their skills to help the people. All of the craftsmen were happy to be able to stop making weapons and contribute something to the people. They worked hard to make people happy.
By working from before dawn until late into the night, the tireless efforts of these craftsmen improved the lives of the people in a short six months. In order to keep the Craftsman Spirit alive, future generations of craftsmen from all over show off their own work and learn from each other every year at this time.
Every time this season comes around, the craftsmen work tirelessly to show off their crafts in order to fulfill the "Craftsman Spirit" that has passed down over the years. These craftsmen who are usually busy working are even busier during this time...

Between June 11th, 00:00 AM (server local time) and June 13th, 11:59 PM (server local time), there will be an experience and talent point event! During this period, all experience gained from quests and combat will be increased by 150% while talent points gained from combat will be increased by 150%.
