Hello again! This update is yet another small bug-fixing and optimization update. I had originally intended for this update to include new runes, as well as an endless mode, but those inclusions have been pushed to next update.
• Summons should now be more consistent in their target selection. • Optimized the summon spell. • Remnants of the Destroyer will no longer kill bosses. • Limited how many enemies can exist at any given time. • Fixed a bug causing brightness and other settings not loading till the Settings menu was opened. • You can now hit Space to unpause after leveling up • Buffed the following runes; - Flash Frost - Former Gift - Large Summon
Update 0.15 - Bugfixes
Thanks for the feedback on the last update! On top of the fixes listed below, I implemented a small change in how the code handles the Torch trinket. Hopefully it helps with some of the issues people have been having, but since I still struggle to reproduce that bug on my own setup, I can't guarantee that is has removed the issues.
Fixes
• Fixed damage numbers not showing up on subsequent rounds. • Gnomes & Gnomeking no longer also benefit from the Mirror Shard • Fixed an issue causing the middle trinket to be difficult to select • Shields can now no longer be reset by re-equipping them. Additionally, the shield will only count towards it's regeneration while equipped. • Fixed exploit allowing players to pick 2 runes on level up rather than 1. • Druidic Staff now works properly.
Update 0.14 - Varius bugfixes, new spell colour & accessibility!
Not in my wildest dreams had I imagined that this many people would be playing Runic after just two weeks.
The game has gotten to the point where most of the bugs people are experiencing are very situational and often impossible for me to reproduce. I'll do my best to address these issues, but fixes might not actually work, and being a single developer with another full time job, it might occasionally be quite a while between updates.
That said, I love all the constructive feedback you guys are giving and I cannot wait to get Runic to a point where I can start focusing more on new content rather than the endless fight against bugs!
• Player spells are now a purple-pinkish colour. Hopefully this makes it a bit easier to see what is going on.
• The issues people were experiencing with Aura's and the Torch trinket should hopefully be fixed. This is one I struggled to reproduce, so let me know if you still experience issues.
• Fixed a bug causing Mirror Shard & Necromancer's Hand to stop working.
• Fixed a bug causing some of the enemy projectiles to look like player projectiles.
• Some people weren't given the option to select their initial focus rune. This has hopefully been fixed now, but I was not able to reproduce the bug, so I'd love to know if anyone who had the issue can now play.
• Steam Cloud Sync should now work properly. You might need to launch the game on the device you have progressed on to upload your current state.
• Added options to turn off the screen shake effects when casting a spell and taking damage.
• Added a brightness slider to allow poorly sighted people a chance to see enemies further away.
2nd Hotfix for Update 0.13
Fixed the issue with spells breaking after the first run. Also put summons back to there original size. Hopefully the game is back to a playable state again.

Update 0.13 - Toggle Screen Effects & More Optimization
Thank all of you so much for your constant feedback! It is incredibly useful as I constantly battle bugs and poorly optimized code. Hopefully this update will help even more with the immense lag some of you are experiencing.
• Added an option to disable the screen effects • Fixed Necromancer's Hand & Mirror Shard persisting through runs. • The Crown now correctly adds 2 gold for each minute survived. • More optimization.
Update 0.12 - Optimization and Video Settings
I've looked through the discussions and reviews and fixed some of the more pressing issues. Keep the feedback coming!
• Objective arrow is now always displayed infront of enemies • Fixed the damage scaling bug when using the Double Swords • Various optimizations that should hopefully alleviate some lag during late-game • Fixed wrong descriptions on upgraded Movement speed runes. • Added a small menu for adjusting video settings. Will likely get more complex options in the future. • Character hitbox reduced slightly in size
First round of fixes and improvements!
Hi! It's great to see people are enjoying the game already. As expected, you have already been busy at work finding issues, so here's the first round of fixes. A proper settings menu and accessibility features are in the works, and will show up in a future update.
• Double Swords now correctly double the damage of AoE spells.. • Some minor typos and icon improvements • You can now no-longer overwrite your rune selection by upgrading • Summon spells now pierce enemies correctly • Your character selection is now loaded from your previous selection • Added a small delay to the buttons when levelling up to avoid accidental clicks
