Patch Notes
Hopefully fixed the weird bug causing you to be teleported backwards in level 18. I couldn't replicate it so I'm not sure it's fixed.
Levels now properly turn gold when you got all coins and experience. Even when you don't do both at the same time.
Enemies no longer hit you behind them on rare occations. This was mostly noticeable against the sword boss.
Version number added to the bottom left of the title screen.
Fixed a problem with the achievement "Been there done that" not updating properly.
Buffed up the damage for the golden sword. Now it does the same damage as the slayer sword. Attack speed has been decreased while the ability speed has been increased.
Increased the armor piercing of the power attack by 2 for all swords. It should be more useful now against armored enemies.
You no longer have to find all the gems to be able to get the achievements for C, B and A ranks.
The gem on level 14 has been moved slightly.
The jump in the middle of the last level has been made a little easier to pull off.

Yes, finally! The big Steam Achievements update is here. Let's celebrate this with a weeklong deal!
40% off is the biggest discount of Rush to Adventure so far. The deal starts on Monday! ːsteamhappyː There are now 40 achievements for you to unlock and a whole bunch of minor updates to improve the game.
Patch Notes
Now supports Steam Achievements. Can you get all 40 of them?
Gem in Southern Temple has been moved slightly. It's now harder to find by accident.
Exiting or restarting a level after taking a hit now counts as a death. You can't cheat the death counter no more.
Chests now requires that you stand on the ground to open. You can't just touch them and respawn.
Fixed a bug that gave a weird result if you leveled up, acquired a new title and completed the keystone at the same time.
The difficulty menu on the map screen now shows current level and % complete for each difficulty.
The mystical sword now does as much damage as the broad sword. The lower damage wasn't properly communicated. Also, it's more convenient.
Added extra platform near the end of level 31. To prevent players getting stuck.
Altered hint for Sprint Attack. Makes it more clear what to do.
Ability hints now disappears at the end of any level. So they don't stick around too long.
Changed the breakable wall in level 29. Didn't seem to make sense at this point in the game.
I gave speedrunning a go as I tested out the update. And this is my end screen result. Almost under 60 minutes, didn't unlock that achievement ːsteamsadː I died a few times too many. Can you beat my time?

Upcoming Steam Achievements
The engine I used to make Rush to Adventure didn't support Steam Achievements when I released the game. But a plugin was released some time ago that seems to do the trick.
This image shows some of the artwork I've made for the achievements. I intend to have more that twice this many when I finally release the update. Implementing them is a slow process because I have limited time to work on it each week.
Figuring out what to make achievements from and how to implement them. Making artwork. Setting them up according to Steams specifications. And finally programming them in. It is quite the process but I am working on them! ːsteamhappyː
Update:
Finally got the plugin talking to the API today (3rd of April). Sadly multiple technical issues have led to this delay. The achievements shows up in Steam now but you still can't earn them in game. Wait for the new version to be released.
Steam Cloud and more
Rush to Adventure has been updated to 1.02. This removes a debug message that was sometimes visible in the game. Steam Cloud has also been activated so your save files are now stored online and synced between multiple PCs.
A plugin has been released for the engine I am using which makes it possible for me to add achievements. This will be added in a later update. As soon as I have time to get them working.

Rush to Adventure 1.01 released
A few minor bugs have been found after release. They have all been fixed now.
Ability hints
On screen ability hints now properly displays the name and the appropriate key while keyboard mode is active.
New Game menu
The New Game menu now properly updates when a file has been deleted.
Difficulty menu
Pressing back on the Difficulty menu (while on the world map) now properly closes the menu.
The demo is now available
Finally the demo has been approved and can now be downloaded.
This is a little slice of the game, allowing you to try different levels and unlock abilities much earlier than in the full version.
