Three weeks! Three weeks had gone by, and still no news!

But even before that, Orphie had seemed... different. Lost in her thoughts, not leaving her office.
She had allowed in only rare visitors, including a couple of unknown homins.
And when, at last, she had got out, that had been to ask for something to be readied for her to depart to the kitin's lair of Almati Wood. Alone.

Apocamus had stormed, shouted, argued, cajoled, trying by force and kindness to convince her not to undertake such a journey alone. But she had had the last word and appointed Melga Folgore to replace her during her absence, which, she had assured, would not last more than two weeks.
And three weeks had gone by.

Nation announcement


It was becoming difficult to move around in the Nexus scientists' Kami camp crowded with crates and jars full of raw materials and necklaces.

Daeronn Cegrips stared at his interlocutor, whose impatience was palpable.
"Yes, I know! The crates are full! But everything is organized!"

Freccio Tinagno made one of those disapproving pouting so typically matis, but added nothing.
"A first convoy will leave for the Desert. I came to an agreement with the Nations' leaders to have some warriors protect it from the fauna. Everything will go well. - And you think the warriors will come for free? But you are dreaming, Ser Cegrips!

Daeronn Cegrips smiled broadly: "Don't pout any more and come and help me prepare these materials! The packers of Rinie must be ready. The warriors will join her at the Western Portal on Prima, Thermis 1, 1er CA 2612 (*). Let's not dawdle!"


Marauder announcement



Aristarcus Sanio deliciously filled her lungs with the dry and dusty air of the Hidden Spring camp. She never thought she would miss it, and yet she did.
She was happy to have been able to take the pretext of delivering this message in person to recharge her batteries in these arid lands.
Now she was going to be able to face the bad mood of Chei Pui-Yan.

"... and you think the convoy will be guarded?
- To protect it from the wildlife of course, Chei. But the hypothesis of a homine attack was not considered during the meetings of the scientists.

It is time for a new Schwarzmarkt! (Black Market)

What is Schwarzmarkt?


The so-called Schwarzmarkt was originally created as an opportunity to trade from homin to homin without paying a fee to the official merchants at their stalls and without filling the treasury of governments with taxes. Of course, we don't support criminal activities and since the laws of trade became more liberal since that time, it is not illegal anymore, but we want to keep the name and the atmosphere of it. The original idea came from the guild Rebellen von Loria who also organized the first sixteen Schwarzmarkts. Later this tradition was continued by The Free Soul.
At the Schwarzmarkt homins – in general the crafters themselves – offer goods to be sold by public sale. Bids are only allowed in dappers. The highest bidder gets the item in exchange for the dappers directly at the location of the Schwarzmarkt.


How does the process of the Schwarzmarkt look like?


The Schwarzmarkt is located in a cave in the Darkmoor (at the dead end of Windermeer). There will be a trek form Fairhaven to the location fifteen minutes before the market starts. The offers will be called according to their quality starting with goods of q100 ending with q250. Bids have to be done in around. The auction will last about three hours.


Which goods can be sold?


Generally, all tradable items can be sold. These are:

  • equipment (weapons, armor, jewels, tools)
  • items from outposts (materials, flowers, xp-booster)
  • special items (yubo-plushies, candy canes, items from the wheel of fortune, NPC crafting crystals,…)
  • profession items

All items must have their full hp. In exceptional cases, lower durability has to be announced before the auction. Raw materials generally are disclosed.

How you can offer goods?


If you want to offer something at the Schwarzmarkt send an ingame mail (shift+W) to Varo. This mail minimally should contain the following important information:

  • vendor (if not the sender of the mail)
  • (full) name of the item (land, layout (hq, mq, lq))
  • quality (q250, q220,…)
  • durability
  • important data/values? (dodge, parry, damage, speed, resistance,…)
  • desired starting bid


We will have a critical look at these items and tell the vendor if they will be offered at the Schwarzmarkt. Items with lower values may be disclosed. We will also have a look if the items fit the rest of the offers. Our goal is to have many different items in different qualities so that both the “small” refugee with his small purse and the veteran of many years and dapper millionaire can find something.
Sometimes it has been possible to offer items spontaneously. If you choose this way, you have to be aware that your item maybe could not be considered – registered items have a higher priority.

When will the Schwarzmarkt happen?


Target date of the 25th Schwarzmarkt is:
Sunday, January 3rd 2021, 20:00 UTC, 21 CET

This would offer you enough time to collect dappers and/or to craft beautiful and useful items.

Patch 837



Patch 837 has been put online on December 13, 2020.
It allowed the introduction of the following changes, which are being implemented today:

Improvement of the interface



  • The icons representing materials (dug or looted ones) now display their quality through stars (like those of the armors do).
  • The icons of the basic materials do not show any stars.
  • The icons for fine materials show one star, the icons for choice materials show two, the icons for excellent materials show three, and the icons for supreme materials show four.


Modification of the Use your Elyps services



  • Rewards and Services menu has replaced Use your Elyps.
  • The stable boy is be the first to offer a Rewards menu; he offers Gubani mounts against items obtained by playing the Wheel (unchanged principle) and Gnoof mounts against an item obtained by success in achievement of The Nexus Wealth mission. The purpose of this addition is to allow a better visibility of the rewards that can be obtained and the items needed.


Animal renaming services offered by capital city stable boys



  • Options for renaming animals have been simplified and improved.
  • Each option will display a confirmation of the chosen name (or option). The purchase will only take effect once this confirmation is given.
  • It is no longer possible to rename an animal with the name of its owner, but this option is replaced by the equivalent title.


Ability to give a title to your pet. Three titles are currently available but others will come to complete this list.

Animal grazing service offered by capital city stable boys



  • It is possible to send one of your zigs or your mount to a distant pasture. The grazing animal and its inventory are no longer accessible or visible.
  • Putting an animal on pasture does not cause the contents of its inventory to be lost. If a mount is sent to pasture and another is bought or obtained, the contents of its inventory will be moved and accessible on the new mount.
  • The goal is to be able to own several mounts of different appearance and to be able to easily choose which one to show off on.
  • Packers cannot be put out to pasture.
  • Only three animals can be grazed at the same time.
  • The price of transport to or from the pasture is payable in elyps and this is not necessarily cheap.
  • You will soon be able to build a guild stable on your guild island that will provide a similar service. Sending animals to you guild stable from your guild island will then only cost 1 elyps or, if made from a capital city stable, will only be charged at half price. The same advantageous rates will apply for returns from your guild stable.

You could find a wide range of equipment up to the 11th circle (50 to 110 quality) useful for training purposes in all skills.

To be sure to find what you need, you can also place an order by sending us an izam*.
If you cannot reach Fairhaven by your own means, do not hesitate to contact Kyriann, we can arrange treks** to allow you to get the teleport pact to the city.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy the bar during the fireworks and while looking for your equipment among the vendors.

Black Detour



With a weary sigh, the imperial soldier sat down at a table in Lydix bar. His hands laden with two byrhs, his comrade soon joined him and dropped to his chair, which protested with a dull crack.

"I'm getting rather tired! Two days that we walk, that we trample, from morning to evening...
- And you thought that "guard assigned to the security of the alchemists" would be a restful experience!
- I'm sure we have gone to all the Desert shops to try to find his damn thing! He's twice my age and I can barely keep up with him."

The two fyros took a sip of the beer imported from Lakes.

"And we're not done. Tomorrow he wants to go to the Trykers land.
- Sure, he's going to drag us through all the New Lands until he finds a Kizarak's claw.
- ramèch!"

As they continued to drink and sigh, one of the soldiers thought.

"I may have a way to spare us all this.

"If he gets what he wants, I don't see him looking too much at where it comes from. We can try suggesting he goes and visits the Smugglers."

His comrade grumbled.

"We'll have to go to the Lakes now!
- You'd rather walk all over Atys?"

With a deep sigh, the soldier plunged back into his drink.

"We'll have to go to Fairhaven to bring back some byrh from the Lakes that wouldn't have traveled by mektoubs in the blazing sun."

At a nearby table, a pair of ears hadn't miss a single bit of the two soldiers' conversation. The announced arrival of an imperial alchemist, escorted only by two guards in a wild and uncertain region, was valuable information for anyone who could take advantage of it.

With his armor ripped, as pale as a matis, Praesidius was watching the spawn's point of Pyr as if, by an effort of will, he could make Ichnion, the imperial Alchemist he had to protect, appear there, but nothing happened.

"Like rookies, we were fooled like rookies, and now we'll have to go and announce that we've lost the trace of the Alchemist...
- ...
- We're going to end up scrubbing latrines for the rest of our lives ...
