A new game update on 2018-11-02
According to users feed back the following features has been added/and bugs fixed:
1- now the game registers an error if it won't start on windows 10. the error message could be found in the game folder under log/errorlog.txt.
2- the leader board now shows the best 100 scores.
3- added keyboard redefine functionality.
4- made the space ship shooting sound softer.
5- now if you get hit by an enemy you are still capable of collecting power ups.

A new game update on 2018-10-21
According to feedback I added few features and improvements to the game. These are listed below:
1- The game asks for player name at the beginning so that it is used in storing player's high score.
2- added different types of backgrounds to give variety to the game.
3- the shield now is rendered as a force field around the ship to help the player identify how dangerous this situation is.
4- added homing missile weapon.
5- added ground units that attacks the player.
6- added few other stages.
7- fixed few bugs.
