Training Arrows
When a combo has not been selected for training then any attack done during Training will show up in front of the user to show what angle has been calculated for any given attack. This should make following combos easier.

Welcome to the new version, punks! The team has been working hard on this massive overhaul and pushing this game to pre-alpha. We are all excited to say we are finally here!

Below are the juicy details of everything we’ve been working on in the past few months.

Engine Update
We’ve officially upgraded and made the move to Unity version 2021.3.18f1 for development. Woooo!

VFX Overhaul



  • • Slash, stun, jab, chip, unblockable, stunjab
  • Ult activation, impact VFX, Death VFX, Block VFX, Weapon sway trails
  • • Environmental VFX including lava + sparks
  • • Falloff guard color update.


Visual Design Updates

  • • Character colors: Assigned two colors to each character for primary and secondary hands and matched those colors to the combo helper and combo list
  • • Adjusted Tutorial and Advanced Tutorial (VO to be updated)


Balance Updates


With new weapons and characters comes some adjustments to abilities!

Character Abilities

  • • Klon ability rework Clones: Each trigger when held will now create a clone who will replicate the attack of that hand. While in ultimate mode the clones will both mimic the primary weapon.
  • • Silk Fang ability rework Lurking, when swapping dagger grip styles if there is sufficient meter attacks made for a short duration will freeze momentarily just outside of opponents range during travel.
  • • Solara Frenzy now is activated on trigger and will continue until the meter is depleted.
  • Lowered bonus damage on Solara combo rewards for multihit attacks.
  • • Dancer ability rework Hold: holding the trigger will cause the next attack made with that hand to become a hold attack for the duration of the trigger press or until meter is emptied.
  • • Riot Officer ability rework Flashbang: trigger press will now lob a flashbang grenade which will blind the opponent after traveling a set distance.
  • • Witch ability rework, Hex no longer stacks and instead will increase the duration of the Hex based on meter amount when triggered.
  • • Gunslinger trigger slash paths adjusted.


Gameplay & Bots

  • • Corrected issue with Strong Crush slashes losing multiple durability stacks on collision.
  • • Stagger now has lowered impact when perfect blocking.
  • • Stagger duration lowered when under the effects of combo decay.
  • • Bots now have a slight decay on their ability to block when dealing with rapid or multishot attacks.
  • • Adjusted bot attack and special usage rate for each difficulty.


Character Health Adjustments

  • • Dancer decreased from 300 to 295
  • • Knight increased from 300 to 310
  • • Samurai increased from 250 to 260
  • • Solara decreased from 300 to 290
  • • Witch decreased from 300 to 295

Hand Colors

- Updated combo helper display
- Improved visuals
- Less distruptive display, prioritize furthest combos

- Each fighter now has color pairs that link to combo system colors

Class Abilities and

New Features: Character Mechanics:
Each character now has a unique ability that gives them more options in combat and enhances their playstyle as well as a new class meter to draw from.
- Klon:
Gain class meter by performing combos. Hold trigger button while swinging to extend that attack into a hold attack or continue to add length to an existing hold attack while consuming class meter.
- Silkfang:
Gain class meter by performing combos. Press the trigger to reverse the grip style on your daggers, changing to the side striking attack, switching styles will consume class meter to empower attacks for a short duration.
- Solare:
Landing attacks on your opponent temporarily increases class meter, after building enough enter a Frenzy state to empower attacks with more damage and speed.
- Bodark:
Enter a berserk rage as you take damage increasing your class meter as your health gets lower greatly enhancing attack damage.
- Katana:
Gain class meter by blocking enemy attacks. Hold the trigger and unleash an attack to expend all of your class meter to perform an empowered slash that will cut through more enemy projectiles as the class meter was higher.
- Gunblades:
Gain class meter by performing combos. Pull the trigger to consume class meter and fire an empowered shot.
- Longsword:
Gain class meter by blocking enemy attacks. Hold the trigger while attacking to consume class meter and add Crush to your attacks which will overpower oncoming enemy attacks that it collides with.
- Scythe:
Gain class meter when the opponent blocks your attacks. Press the trigger to consume class meter and apply a Hex to your enemy, if the enemy takes an attack while the Hex is active it will burst and cause additional damage.
- Bayonet:
Hold the trigger to charge your rifle, while charging blocking enemy attacks will increase your charge while attacking will deplete it, release the trigger to fire an empowered shot.
- Shortswords:
Gain class meter when blocking enemy attacks. Hold trigger while blocking to consume class meter and perform an empowered auto reflect which will enhance the reflected attacks speed.
- Baton:
Gain class meter when blocking enemy attacks with shield. Press trigger to consume class meter and strike opponent with lightning slowing their attacks temporarily

- All rounds under one replay

Advanced Tutorial:
- Explanation of curveball, attack types, PDA and Class Specific Abilities

Curveball:
- Moved offset targeting to joystick
