With Maia in tow, Yaya and Aiyana travel to a village presided over by the kind-hearted princess, Arie. Arie is experiencing something of a dilemma herself, as her village has been ailing from the ill effects of a protracted drought. The rivers which run near her village have turned bone dry, the crops dead, and her people are struggling to make ends meet.
Arie agrees to help Yaya and Aiyana search for Koko, but only if Maia will agree to use her magical powers to right the drought which has ruined her village.

Yaya is prepared to endure any indignity to find Koko but can she really trust Maia?
Naoya left a troublesome past behind and is determined to get his life back on the straight and narrow - but, owing to large lapses in his schooling, was unable to get into the university of his choice.
Naoya puts his further education on hold and moves in with his childhood friend, Ichigo. While Ichigo attends university, Naoya takes up a job at a local café, but this newfound job leads him to interacting with two pretty waitresses with problems of their own, Mayuki and Kuu.
Naoya grows close to these two girls, and develops a friendship with them...
