Hey everyone! Recently, the game celebrated its one-and-a-half-year anniversary since release day, and to mark the occasion, we decided to undertake another large-scale update.
* Here are the main changes in this TRULY massive patch: *
- New shaders: noise filter, sharpness boost, motion blur (can be turned off in the game settings), - Original shaders have been improved and optimized: SSAO, the black-and-white screen effect when injured, and others, - First person hand animation added for motorcycles, - Enemies now behave smarter, actively pursuing the player character, - Junk can now be converted into Components directly through the inventory, - Improved bullet spawn functions and increased flight speed, - Added sounds of bullets flying nearby when enemies attack, - Expanded the number of death animations for all types of enemies, - NPCs now turn smoothly while moving, - Game settings now allow you to choose an FPS limit: 30, 40, 50, or 60 frames, - Improved performance in levels from Chapters 4 and 5, - Added more fishing and campfire spots in levels from Chapter 4, - Adjusted ambient sound volumes, - Added previously missing music on certain levels, - Multiple text and English translation corrections, - Fixed inaccuracies in the "Help" text, - Updated documentation, along with various tweaks and bug fixes.

- The game now launches correctly when Windows desktop scaling is set above 100% - Several new lines and sounds for minor characters of 2nd and 3rd chapters have been added - Added missing compass tracker for the "Visit the market" quest - Added new streetlights in the village in the Shopping District - Factory Chief's height reduced

UPDATE 2.0 - Director's Cut
The Director's Cut of SALVATIONLAND is a significantly enhanced game, essentially a re-release. Version 2.0 includes new cutscenes, significantly improved pacing in the first half of the game, numerous stability, detail, and optimization improvements.
- Added an alternative ending that is optional and unlocked by successfully completing additional quests - Added new cutscenes - Added new graphical effects (Depth of Field, Bloom) - Additional optimization work: performance increase on levels ranged from 25% to 50% - "Beginning" level: reworked initial scenes, added a new first-person cutscene, fixed errors, improved level detail - "Old District" level: removed guard, now the clinic area is accessible and leads to the "Clinic" location. Some posters from Leonid's subquest have also been moved to this area. - "School's basement" level: reduced size of one of the internal corridors - "Shopping District" level: increased tree density - "Shopping Center" level: reduced playable area size, decreased likelihood of crashes on low-end hardware - Added sound of shell casings falling when shooting firearms - Fixed an issue where dialogue text could overflow the window and be cut off at certain resolutions - Headshot damage multiplier for firearms increased to x2 - Grenades now dismember enemies' limbs - Improved quality of certain voiced lines, added voiceovers for some previously missing lines - Increased sprint duration and speed - Decreased rain volume - Added engine muffling sound for motorcycles - Added more collectible items on certain levels - Various level tweaks and detail improvements
