Introducing the Community Events Team Program (COMET)
The COMET - Community Events Team, called Comets, will work as a team to create a regular community-driven event cadence in Sansar. Throughout the pilot program, Comets will be given Missions that they have to accomplish in order to earn points. If they succeed in their Missions they will be given various incentives as a group, and also work to earn incentives for all users.

Monstercat Safari Challenge (Nov 20-Dec 16)
CHALLENGE: Create Monstercat-themed items for the Sansar store. Wearables, clothes, accessories, emotes, or whatever you can imagine and create.
Rules: - You may submit up to 3 items to the Challenge - To submit -- tag Monstercat (one word) on the Sansar Store, if you create a World for Monstercat, DM Galileo the link to your World - You can create Clothing, Accessories, Emotes, Avatars, Worlds, and 3D Models for this Challenge Details: - Challenge begins 11/19, Challenge Ends on 12/16/2019 11PM PST Prizes: - First prize: Monstercat Gold subscription for 3 months + Monstercat Merch Pack and VIP tix to Monstercat shows - Second prize: 1500 Sansar Dollars + Monstercat Gold subscription for 3 months - Third prize, Fourth, Fifth: 1000 Sansar Dollars + Monstercat Gold sub for 3 months - Every item submitted will be added to the Monstercat Collection and promoted via the Sansar store Judging: - Monstercat staff/DJs will be judging the prizes based on: -- Uniqueness (is the item a new or rare offering in the Sansar Store) -- Quality (how complex was it to make the item) -- Theme (how well does the item match the theme)

What’s new?
The Backpack
Players can now open a backpack and spawn items directly into the world at runtime.
The current library of items players can spawn is limited to a small collection of six Sansar Studios created toys.
The Backpack will be enabled in all worlds by default.
Creators can choose to enable or disable the Backpack in their worlds by changing the Scene Settings > Backpack > Item Source setting.
Basic Valve Index support
Headset and Controller tracking is now supported
Finger tracking is not yet supported
Homespace
Updated the sign and portal to the Nexus.
Bug Fixes
Fixed the preview state of the three/four layer shader so it properly displays the blending of the textures
Fixed QuestGiverTrigger so it correctly offers a quest to users who had previously been offered the quest
Fixed a crash when opening certain worlds to edit, or when adding certain inventory items to a world while editing.
Fixed an issue causing Avatars to spin wildly after minimizing the client while grabbing an object using the `Aim at Cursor` feature
