Of course, with such a large update many bugs have been found. So, today I'm bringing you a bug fix update that will hopefully resolve any issues you've been having.
Here's the changelog: • Fixed player going bald • Fixed looping tricks while on the ground • Fixed not being able to flip/spin • Fixed not bailing when hitting bars on something in the air • Fixed weird float glitch that happens after landing from a drop without hopping • Fixed missing face in New Carven • Fixed not bailing from big drops if you don't hop • Current graphics mode is displayed on graphics button in settings menu • Added "Display" section to settings menu. Allows you to change your screen mode and resolution • Added tiny cooldown to hopping after landing • Fixed weird bounce when landing in manuals • Altered how the game differs between normal ground and wallrides • Fixed being able to enter challenges while in pause menu • Slightly improved transition physics again (No longer get stuck on top of spines)
WINTER 2022 UPDATE
Hello, everyone!
Just over 3 months after Scoot's big rebuild update, I'm bringing you it's first update since!
Jumbo Jump Island
Jumbo Jump Island is a brand new map that allows you to utilise the game's new transition physics! An awesome downhill jump track, loops, and bowls. This island is truly a rider's paradise. Despite saying last update that New Carven will be expanded on, this map can be accessed through the pause menu.
Improved Transitions
Transitions have been massively improved for this update. Transitions will now act and feel more how would expect them to. A largely requested feature was to make spines work correctly, and with these improvements, they do! There are still improvements to be made but I'm super happy with how they've turned out for this update.
Climbing
One of my favourite additions of this update is climbing! You're now able to reach higher points with the new climbing system. Whether you're stuck in a bowl, trying to reach the top of a ledge, or you simply want to get over a rail, climbing comes to your advantage.

BIG REBUILD UPDATE!
Hey everyone,
Finally after months and months (9 months :D) the big Scoot update is finally here! This isn't just any update, but a complete rebuild from the ground up of the entire game.
Why did you rebuild the game?
while following a similar design, this "new" version of Scoot is completely different from what you've previously played. I wasn't too happy with how the old version was shaping out. And since I had learned so much while developing Scoot, I knew I could make it better if I started over. So, in October 2021 I decided that's what I was going to do once I release the last update in November 2021.
How is this different?
This rebuild of Scoot is compeltely different in many many ways. The physics were completely reworked to feel way smoother and easier to play with. The game now feels more similar to what some of you may be used to from other action sports games.
Grinds now use a super cool system that will detect edges. Allowing you to grind ANYTHING that looks like it should be grindable. See a rail? Grind it. See a ledge? Grind that thing. See a ribbon sculpture? You grind that ribbon!
Challenges! For the first time, Scoot now has challenges across New Carven for you to complete! You'll be challenged to perform certain tricks and complete races as fast as you possibly can. Can you get the fastest time? Speedruns?!
Those are the main things, but there's so so SO much more!
New Carven
I decided that instead of having multiple maps in Scoot, I wanted to get started on that one final *big* map. It's always been the plan to have a large single map for the 1.0 release when that eventually comes. So, from now on, there will only be New Carven. The most in-depth Scoot map yet. New Carven will be expanded upon throughout future updates.

CUSTOMISATION AND GREAT IMPROVEMENTS!
Hello, all! Today I'm bringing you the update that I am personally the most proud of. And I hope that you guys see it when you play!
This update brings one of the most requested features since the beginning of the game, and that's full scooter and rider customisation. Before, you could change the colour of the parts on your scooter. But now, you can also change the parts themselves! Along with the addition of pegs. With that, mutliple clothing options have been added for your rider. Whether you want to wear a helmet or not, it's now up to you! (Safety first, remember ːsteammockingː)
Once again I've done my best to improve the flow and feel of the game. And I swear it keeps getting better. With grinds being much smoother and brand new bowl physics, you'll have no problem feeling like a pro rider now!

Shredstone Square and Many More Improvements!
Hey guys! I know it's been the longest it ever has since an update before (Nearly 4 months wow) but we believe it's worth it. With big changes to the feel of the game, we're confident you'll love this update!
Two of out biggest requested features were added in this update: First person, and a Replay Editor! We'd love to hear your feedback on these features and possible changes you'd like made to them in the future. We can't wait to see your clips in out discord or on Instagram. Make sure to tag us!
There's so many other new and improved things in this update. Ranging from more advanced on foot controls, a new manual system with realistic movement, a ragdoll on the scooter, a new camera system, and so so so much more! You can see all the changes in our discord.

NEW PARK EDITOR AND PHYSICS
Hey everyone! Today I'm bringing you what we believe to be the best update yet! With giant changes to the physics system, the game feels better than ever.
One thing quite a lot of you were upset about with the last update was the removal of the Park Editor. Well, I'm happy to say it's been brought back and is better than before! There are now over 30 different objects to choose from and more to come in the future. The new Park Editor gives you so much more freedom and allows your creativity to shine. We can't wait to see what you all create :D
We've also made some changes to our animation system. They're now a lot more fluid and aren't as jumpy as before. We hope this is a step in the right direction for smooth and natural looking gameplay.
