Development progress and scheduled update
This announcement is to inform you of the state of the game and what we have been working on since the launch also when the scheduled update will occur.
First of all....
We would like to apologize for not updating this game as frequently as we have planned to. There are several reasons for that and we do not want to beat around the bush. We want to be honest with you, hopefully this will give you a better view of what's happening behind the scenes in game development.
Much to our dismay, after the launch only a few core members stayed true to the team and SCORE and it's vision. We knew Score would need a lot of development it was never a "done' in a month" project. Others did not share these values and moved on to other projects. We wish them all the best success now and in the future.
As it stands we have been left with a very very small team. The small amount of sales has allowed us to keep the server running. The team has continued to be and remains active even though the current development is very slow. To those of you who have been with us from the start providing your amazing encouragement and positivity we appreciate you and we will not let you down! We want to see this game reach it's full potential, allowing us to deliver the vision you and we believe in.
On the other hand to have this game reach it's full potential we still require your feedback and suggestions. It is very important for us to receive participation and feedback from the communtiy.
We have implemented changes including the overhaul of the Soccer game mechanic it was done completely new and from scratch, we still plan to expand heavily on it . This includes the AI and game modes, until all features are implemented.
For the Professions and the City we listened to all your feedback and we decided because of the scope and irritations it has caused we will remove professions from this game until its implemented right.
For the City environment we are in the process of redoing the entire city and the island as well.
We are working on a complete new Pedestrian and Traffic AI to make it come alive and behave naturally. So it's a complete overhaul.
Because being a Soccer Player will be your only profession you will start earning money for every goal scored, every assists you made every win you took home.
With this earned money you will be able to buy clothes in shops, buy cars at the car dealership (already working), buy furniture and appartments or houses that will be available to purchase all around the city.
Mini games in the city will also be added The club mode in soccer is still in development.You will be able to create your own club and trade players or aquire real human players for your club, with that you will have the challenge to earn enough money for your club to keep those players season after season.
The last part of this announcement is explaining how we want to get there.
First of all we all know that game development is not cheap or easy
and to be able to create our and your vision for this game
we needed to make some choices.
We decided to support and work on two other games to help us fund this
game and quite frankly to partner up with some great talent. Studios have
approached us to support them with their games, by active development or
just helping them with publishing it. Which we did and we will tell you more
about those exciting games, when the time is right.
With this announcement which is long overdue we want to explain what's
behind the scenes and why games don't push updates after updates weekly.
We do not want to push half done broken updates. But we do want to assure
you that this game will get the development it deserves, it's the core teams
dream game that we want to play and love! Therefore we will never ever stop
working on it. We have planned great features for it but they have to make
sense not to confuse players of the reason for this game.
We came far without any kickstarter, outside funding.
Again we are reaching out to everyone who likes the idea of this game to
support us and shape it into the game we want to create, and a game we love
to play as it is our first game on steam.
A major update is expected to be in 2018.

New Football Update is finally live !!!!
We are pleased to announce that our build up from scratch Football update is finally up on Steam.
WHAT'S NEW?
1.) New Player characters and animations
2.) New Stadium
3.) Included Control Mapper with support for Gamepad and Keyboard Controls.
4.) Better AI logic and interaction
5.) Now it's possible to play alone vs AI or up to 10vs10
6.) New and better formation visuals , now you can see who is playing a
certain position.
7.) Halftime and Fulltime Stats are enabled
8.) On the fly Camera view can change by pressing C
9.) Penalty, Freekick and Stamina implemented.
Default Keyboard Controls are WSAD for movement , K - Kick , L - Pass , P-Special Movements and LShift Running (depends on Stamina) but you can set it up your way or use Gamepad controller(needs to be assigned first time , press on the Gamepad Icon)

We have implemented the following with a small update today:
- Headers for AI or Players depending on Ball velocity.
- Two dribble animations with Action Key and Action Key and Control UP
- Goal Celebration animations
- Referee is showing now red and yellow cards.
- Increased overall running and sprinting speed
- Apartment spinning bug when Gamepad is plugged in should be fixed now.
- AI will try to pass to teammate if either teammate or opponent player is close.

NEXT BIG UPDATE
we are working on is the CITY environment.
We decided to reduce the size of the city a lot for now to improve the performance. The Island terrain is still 256km2

Football Gameplay Update 12th of December 2016
we are very pleased to announce that we have redone the Football Gameplay, from scratch.
Update we are in the final process for the update to steam ( build+upload)!!!
We are experiencing some build issues and therefore have to postphone it
for the 12th or 13st of December 2016.
Next Updates for the Football Mode in early 2017 are
- Club mode will be activated, meaning you will be able to play with your
friends and AI against other clubs of the same division for money and
experience points that will be reflected in your stats.
- Club House where you can socialize with club members and other visitors,
train your player in a gym or play some fun games like billiard with others.
- Custom Match Offline mode for up to 8 players on the same PC, will allow
you to play 4vs4 matches with your friends at home.
Next revamp will be the City Environment and Gameplay
- Entire Island and City will be redone from scratch with the focus on
performance and loading times.
- City Pedestrians AI will allow interaction and specific gameplay.
- City Traffic system will be activated ( we have this one done a long time
ago but because of overall performance issues it was deactivated)
- Profession Missions will be clearly visible and will
have a progression logic story line.
- Enabling the purchase of all 50+ Cars( right now only 11 can be bought)
- Enabling the purchase of furniture for your apartments
- Enabling the purchase of different apartments and houses in the city.
- Enabling the character selection and customization
of 5 Female and 5 Male Characters.
- Enabling Steams Workshop for submissions of clothes and other city
environment props through the community.
Single Player Mission Mode Road to Glory
- We are also working on the single player mission mode
that will tie the football and city game mode together
and explain how all makes sense, why a football star to be has to take on
jobs on the side to get where he wants to
be in his career. Our game is inspired by the Movie Goal (part1 and part2)
go and watch it, it will explain a lot what's going on
behind the scenes of a Soccer Player's life.

SCORE NEW Football and Performance UPDATE
we have updated the build once again with the following
- Texture and Materials optimization.
- Weather system optimization, overall scene looks improved.
- Football custom match improvement.
- Host game mechanics bug fixes.
- Rotation with or without Ball improved.
- Camera movement improvements.
Next Big Update will have killable Pedestrians, AI car traffic, big performance improvements and the Team Death Match Mode, 5 Female and 5 Male Characters in Character Creation to choose from and many more bug fixes included.
Updated after that will focus on restructured Football game play and new Progression system for Professions and new missions.
After that we will introduce two new professions Drug Dealer and Journalist. More Cars and more weapons and the clothes store will be opening soon.

BETA PERIOD OVER FOR NOW!
it came to our attentions that some of the Beta Group users, trying to sell beta keys on platforms other then Steam.
First of all all Beta keys as we announced many times are only valid for a limited time for you to test and that it will be revoked once we concluded the beta testings.
Therefore you are not allowed to sell those keys in the first place.
Second do not buy keys to purchase SCORE anywhere then Steam official store platform.
All other offers are fake and not authorized by us.
We know exactly who got our Pre-Beta keys and we will proceed legally against any fraud attempts.
As for the Pre-Beta group, we thank you for participating and we will end the BETA officially on Wednesday, if you like the game as we mentioned at start of the BETA please purchase a copy.
