Thank you all for a great year, we're now on break!
Thank you all for a great year, we're now on break! This will be from December 20th - January 5th.
We seriously cannot thank everyone enough, between the SCP community & staff, the tactical FPS community, our incredible partners, friendly faces, and our incredibly loyal team behind this.
Next year is going to be very crazy! We have some big news to share as we progress through 2023! ❤️
don't nominate us for anything
We do not ask for any nominations for the Steam Awards yet, plenty of other great games out to nominate this year and we don't feel far enough along yet to receive a spotlight there.
We'll be out in force next year and onward to be worth your nominations. 💪
Reworked interaction slightly to leave all networking in character, fixing most interaction issues
Fixed code tablets being desynced or not visible, visibility and codes are now networked separately for reliability
Fixed a crash with weapon animation
Fixed LAMG bullets hiding all at once
Fixed some hitches due to menu loading constantly re-grabbing user settings
Added light to code tablets
Fixed certain commands being executable regardless of permissions (restart, start, stop, etc) (Thanks to the report from an unknown foundation operative)
Added logs to some commands
Added logs to when player permissions are checked
Fixed some cases where the server might accidentally allow users to execute console commands if an empty Steam ID existed in both the Admin List and Player ID.
Fixed a bug where the game would incorrectly show the previous server when returning to menu
Now that work on the patch has completed, the whole team is now hard at work on the next major update.
This patch is intended to fix most of the bugs reported from the first 0.11 update, but also comes with some new goodies - two new weapons and an optic!

VOTE PASSED: Rename & Rebrand of SCP: Pandemic to SCP: 5K
EDIT: Poll has passed! Thank you everyone who voted in the 5-day period!
We are proposing a rename & rebrand of SCP: Pandemic to move to a name that better-represents the project this has and is continuing to become (SCP:5K). We have chosen something we feel is right after lots of internal discussion and planning. ❤️
To be very clear, this in itself does not change any goals we want to achieve, it will solely be a new name for the same project you already know. We have put a lot of work into this idea internally, and this has now been a multi-month process between voting on names, logo design, and how we can properly transition to a new name if it's ultimately voted on! 🙂
DEV TEAM VOTE: PASSED BACKER VOTE: PASSED PUBLIC VOTE: PASSED
If the public poll passes, we will proceed to a 1+ month countdown livestream + marketing efforts to build awareness of the rename. The change itself would be enacted on January 1st, 2023 on Steam. Livestream start date will be determined if + after this final vote passes.
And ultimately... I just want to say thank you to you all. We owe so much to every one here, this opportunity has been huge for us as a collective, and I personally am incredibly thankful for everything, irregardless of which way this poll goes, the name means nothing compared to everything else. Thank you. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Here is a (mostly) concept art-based post for things we want to work on over time + some stuff we've already done as a peek into content ahead of the various integrations!
We do want to emphasize that all of this is subject to change and event outright cancelation per item depending on if it ultimately fits our project, especially after we draw to more applicable conclusions after testing and experimentation. Nothing here is deemably final at all!
We just want to provide some insight into our development process and what may or may not make it into the final game.
Got it? Alright, let's get started.
Special thanks to Trey, Kyle, Kelvyn, and Manny for the wonderful collaboration behind the scenes!
