Price Change

Hello everyone!

After receiving some messages and some thinking I've decided to lower the game's base price from 7.99 to 4.99! The price is now more "fair" considering what the game currently has but it will not go lower than that, since this game, like many others take time and effort so it would also be unfair to developers to request a near free product.

Sorry to those who have already purchased the game before the price change, the game will keep its current price going back to the original after the game goes from Early Access to Full Release.

Update #3 - v1.1 IS UP

That's right folks, the update is up now!

As I said, it's a small one, this update just fixes the issue in which players could escape the boundaries of the levels, there shouldn't be any way now to do that... I think lol.

I'll keep looking for more exploits, but if you find any please be sure to let me know, the game needs to be as neat(o) as possible so your feedback is really important.

Update #3 (v1.1) - TONIGHT

Sup everyone! Just letting you know the new update I mentioned in the last announcement will be released tonight!

This update doesn't bring anything exciting, it's just a bug fix. As some of you may have noticed, there were ways to escape the boundaries of every map, so I went through every single map and fixed that problem... :-)

I'll keep looking for potential exploits but if you find anything else that needs to be fixed please make sure to let me know so I make the necessary changes.


As for the Update #4 (v1.5)...

It shouldn't take long, the updates will be substantial but not necessarily difficult to finish however, I won't promise an specific release date, but it shouldn't take longer than two weeks. That's all.

Third Update (v1.5) Release Date & Details

Hello pals and gals, I hope you liked this recent update, it doesn't have all the stuff that were promised but there's a reason for that, the two friends who were helping me with the game recently quit... apparently they were extremely disappointed at the fact that the game only has approx. 40 downloads after all this time...

While it is indeed sad I really don't care, I still have my hopes as high as ever that this game's community will grow!

There's no defined release date for the next update but it should be this month... there will be two updates in fact, it goes like this:


Update #3 (v1.1)

This update will address one thing that really needs to get fixed... bugs. There are ways to escape the boundaries of almost all maps, I'm always eager to find glitches or exploits in videogames and I'm pretty good at it so I think keeping others from doing that in my game will be quite easy :-B


Update #4 (v1.5)

This is the good one.

Changes that will definitely happen:
- New SCP that I've been teasing since the game's release! (finally right? lol)
- Muzzle flash effects to guns.
- Impact effect for projectiles.
- Improved projectiles' effects.
- Improved pistol sound.

Changes that might happen:
- Replace yet another existing survival mode map.
- Add official names to the maps.
- Add music.

Update #2 - Version 1.0

Hey everyone! It's here! The new update with new stuff for you to enjoy! This update brings to the table the following:

- Replaced Level 04
- Added level 08
- Tweaked ammo crate and omni crates, this way you won't have tons of ammo left after every wave
- There are respawnable powerups scattered around maps, this way if you lack ammo you can run around a map until more ammo or health respawns... takes a while tho.


To Do for Version 1.5!

- Add new SCP (I have been working on it a little bit more, mostly the animations)
- Add muzzle flash and impact effect to weapons
- Change pistol sounds
- Update bulletin board (since I forgot to do it this time around lol)
- Change ambience sounds of maps
- Maybe add music?
- Replace one or two more maps.

Two new maps instead of one for next update!

Helloy everyone!! We decided to move the update date for a couple reasons, one to enjoy christmas and the second because we won't just add the 8th map for Survival Mode, but also completely replace the 4th map.

The 4th map currently included is too small and its layout too broken to have an enjoyable gameplay (we know, other maps need better design as well, we're working on it! lol), so we decided to replace it with something new, something better!

We won't give an specific update release date yet (you know, holidays) but it will definitely be this year!

[GAME UPDATE] UPDATE 0.5

Update 0.5 is here! Why not call it update 1.0 tho? Well, the reason for that is that there are pending changes to be done for this update, here's the changelog for this specific update:


-New weapon >>
That's right, the new energy pistol is here! More powerful than the rifle.


-Removed sprint >>
This has two reasons, the first being to improve the player's gaming experience, now you don't have to worry about running, aiming and shooting and repeating, now you move faster at default walk and can shot while moving among the enemies! The second reason is that older games from late 90's/early 2000 don't use sprint, you always move at the same speed, and since this is a retro-styled game... yeah.


-Tweaked enemies waves >>
Although their individual stats remain the same there are slightly less of them now, this along with the smoother player movement should make the game a bit easier.


-New powerups and tweaks >>
There are health packs and ammo packs now! However, to balance things out and make up for the easier gameplay, the omnicrates (the green boxes) give less ammo.


-Quit Button >>
Yeah, it was needed... sorry lol.


-Bug Fix >>
Someone reported a rather funny bug that would allow you to lift yourself up in the sky and leave the map, yeah we fixed that.


>> Improved enemies' sounds >>
They are the same sounds at the moment, however, we made some modifications with the way they play, now you can only hear them properly when they are in proximity, making those that are far less distracting.



WHAT TO EXPECT FOR UPDATE 1.0 >>

Update 1.0 (which was supposed to be today instead of 0.5) was meant to add the following things, but we decided to delay them because they need more work to be really good, you can expect these changes next Friday:

- New Map
- New Enemy
- Improved Player Clips
- Improved Item Spawn Points
- Improvement to existing maps
- Database of SCPs Encountered

[Update] First Update Schedule!

Hello guys, as previously mentioned before, the first update will be on Friday 14, in just a bit over 5 days!

Here's a list of the changes you can expect from it:

- New weapon
- Improved player clips to keep players from glitching out of maps
- Fixed the rifle jump glitch
- Tweaking to enemy's waves to make things a bit easier
- New enemy
- New map
- Quit button

As soon as the release comes I will make a detail changelog both here and in-game via the Bulletin Board.
