Scrap Attack has gotten a boost in players recently, and issues have been brought up and resolved. We are happy to see the rise in new players and hope that you stay in touch with the game as we are constantly trying to improve it!
Fixes:
<*>Fixed a bug where the enemy projectile’s visual explosion would spawn in the wrong place.
<*>Fixed killing the Jelly Fish on the hand cannon (again :’( ).
<*>Fixed the Jericho missiles not having the explosion particle appear sometimes.
<*>Fixed the Jericho occasionally going into the lava.
<*>Fixed the flying enemy spawning for some levels.
<*>Fixed the acquisition of a few achievements.
<*>Fixed the steam leaderboard not being updated with the correct score if it wasn’t submitted fast enough.

The 6th patch for Scrap Attack is now live!
We have been working on new content in form of new levels and modes. We are incredibly excited to see what these new game modes will bring to Scrap Attack.
Early beta versions of these are in this update. Over the coming weeks, we will continue to test these levels and gamemodes internally and fine tune them to provide you the best experience we can. Let us know what you think as they develop!
Beta Features:
Challenge Modes: Exciting new maps presenting a tough, unique challenge for experienced players:
Flying Frenzie - Fight your way through a constant stream of Swarmers on disconnected pillars!
Rapid Fire Level - Survive or die trying in this new map where enemies come from all directions!
Headshot Only Level - The Medium Difficulty level but now with custom waves where only only head shots and critical shots count!
Additions:
Weapon backend has been improved allowing for easier backend modifications and to facilitate weapon specific game modes.
A red light appears where and when enemies spawn now.
Changes:
Flying enemies now have a new spawning location, away from the spawn drills.
Scoring is now based on every enemy you kill instead of per wave passed. Time bonuses remain unchanged.
Simplified the process of making new levels, increasing the speed to make new levels and modes.
The Health system was changed to allow for the Dev Team to create more complex enemies easily in the future and improving the general structure of the enemies.
Updated the level preview Screenshots to have a better look.
Fixes:
A bug where enemies arms didn’t always get shot off after enough damage has been fixed.

Version 1.4.1 Patch Notes
The 5th patch for Scrap Attack is now live just in time for Spring Break.
The team has added French as a new supported language. A lot of work has been to facilitate easier transition to the next set of features and making the game more reliable for the player.
ADDITIONS:
French language added.
Language selection screen first time you start the game.
CHANGES:
Inventory system has been reworked resulting in a gain in performance.
Player spawning pipeline reworked allowing for faster debug times.
New physics system for bullets has finished prototyping and will now enter production phase.
New logo.
FIXES:
English prompt for exiting the game now has a “Yes” and a “No” button

Version 1.4.0 Patch Notes
The 4th patch for Scrap Attack is now live! The primary gameplay addition of this update is a Shotgun! We're also proud to announce we've begun to localise for the game, starting with Simplified Chinese and soon French.
ADDITIONS: • A Shotgun!
• Localization - Simplified Chinese.
• Options Menu - Added graphical, sound, language options.
CHANGES: • Sound changes and designing, including:
• Weapon - SMG sfx changes when low on ammo.
• Weapon - Hand Cannon sfx changes when low on ammo.
• Weapon swapping sound.
• Enemy - Swarmer shooting and flying sfx change.
• Hammerhead firing sfx change.
• Jericho size increased by 75%
• Powerup duration and consumption speeds have been modified.
FIXES: • Interacting with UI should no longer fire the players weapon.
• Enemy attacks should no longer occasionally miss the player when they're in range.
• SMG cooldown animation fixed.

Version 1.3.0 Patch Notes
Our 3rd patch for Scrap Attack is now live! We're glad to see the updates are getting a positive response. The major new addition this update is a new enemy, The Jericho! This unit will launch clusters of missiles at you while it flies around the heights of the cave. Try shooting its missiles before they split up and become more of a problem!
ADDITIONS: • The Jericho - a new flying enemy, designed to barrage the players with missiles to encourage movement.
• A method for exiting the game has been added to the level select area.
CHANGES: • We've moved the teleport ability to the grip button, allowing players to move around more easily and never stop dual-wielding.
• Overhauled tutorial.
• Easy, Medium and Hard levels have received balance tweaks, a mixture of custom and randomised waves.
• Victory condition - we've changed the game to end at round 20 in each of the levels.
• Power-up consumption speeds have been tweaked - mainly allowing the SMG to last longer.
• Larger player projectiles active during the increased damage power-up.
• Power-up capsule models have been changed.
FIXES: • Enemies no longer pass through the player in melee skirmishes.
• Enemies should no longer occasionally get stuck on each other in choke points.
COMING SOON from the Scrap Attack Team: • We're continuing development on a collectable that will allow players to heal the crystal.
• A new weapon is reaching the end of its prototyping phase. We hope you like shotguns!

New Enemy Type COMING SOON!
Our scouts have reported that the Boltheads are developing a new flight unit, one which fires cluster missiles from the skies! Be vigilant, and don’t stay still for too long.
Jericho is joining the Bolthead roster on March 2nd, among other additions.
PS. The design is still WIP and will have slight changes, mainly additional detailing, before joining the other robots at the start of next month!
Version 1.2.0 Patch Notes
Our second patch for Scrap Attack is now live! We’ve been closely listening to player feedback and have a good deal of updates, changes and fixes. The biggest of which are the brand new level select area and health system!
ADDITIONS: • New health system - Spawning Room removed in favour of a system that keeps players in the action.
• New menu space - We’ve created an entirely new space, separating the play area and level selection.
• New player UI - Crystal and Player health are now displayed on different hands, and have been edited to coincide with the new health system.
CHANGES: • Massive performance boost
• The swarmer movement is now independent of the level hex grid
• New menu UI - Revamped visuals
• Power ups are now ammo based, not time based
• Post processing changes
• New wave UI around the crystal
• HandCannon muzzle particles - Less intrusive
• Font change for damage values and power-up names
• Player head hit box reduced
• Teleport Gun model changed
FIXES: • Leaderboard scores occasionally wouldn’t be sent.
• Fixed a bug where weapon reload animations would get stuck.
• Players can now shoot jellyfish with the HandCannon.
• Various small bugs.
COMING SOON from the Scrap Attack Team: • We are currently looking at moving the teleporter to a dedicated button press to streamline gameplay and allow for constant dual wielding of weapons.
• A new enemy - the ‘Jericho’ - is being prototyped and developed.
• A system to give players the ability to heal the crystal is being prototyped.

Version 1.1.0 Patch Notes
Scrap Attack launched just over a week ago on Steam and the dev team is working hard to update and improve your game experience. Our first update features primarily bug fixes and smoothing out minor gameplay issues:
ADDITIONS: • Dual Wielding - players can now select the SMG, Hand Cannon, or Teleporter in whichever hand they choose.
CHANGES: • Improved enemy and player projectiles
• Visual improvements for power-ups
• Improved in-game leaderboards and Steam leaderboard support
• Streamlined tutorial
• Swarmer HP changed from 50 to 25
• Scrapper HP changed from 75 to 50
• Both the Scrapper and Swarmer have had a speed increase
• Hand Cannon damage reduced to accommodate dual-wielding
• Hand Cannon now auto-reloads to accommodate dual-wielding
• Teleportation range increased
REMOVED: • EMP Power-Up has been temporarily removed while we re-work it. This was due to players not noticing its effects.
FIXES: • Enemy behaviour fixes, specifically with the Hammerhead's targeting and pathing.
• Enemies only face the player when close, rather than immediately from their spawn.
• Muzzle occasionally flashed too often or continued to flash after the player stopped firing.
• Combat Theme music playing during the tutorial.
COMING SOON from the Scrap Attack Team: • We're looking at Progression Systems and what these can look like in Scrap Attack.
• We're paying close attention to the player health and respawn system to improve the high action flow of the game.
• We're looking into leveraging current gameplay systems to be fuller, more balanced, and more rewarding.
• Updated UI
• We're looking into streaming gameplay and possibly development sessions in the near future. And now that we've said that here in an online space, we're going to have to do it.
