Steam Index Controller Support

Dear Index Controller users,

While we're currently working on getting the index controllers natively supported with our next patch of Scraper: First Strike, one of our devs have created a community binding for you all to use. Here are some instructions on how to get your index controllers working for our game until then

In the Steam VR dropdown menu, navigate to Devices and select Controller Settings. Select ‘Index Controls for Scraper: First Strike’ in the Community Bindings section for the game.

In the application, select the Vive Controller as your control type.

Though the Vive wand will appear in the in-game control map image, your Index Controller will be a fully functional re-creation of that mapping, using the Joysticks in place of the Vive trackpads.

We thank you for your patience, and if you need any help it getting your Index controls working, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! As mentioned before, we're working on supporting the Index Controllers out of the box for our next patch!

Sincerely,

Labrodex

Scraper 1.0.4

Hello Steam friends,
As we're developing Scraper for the PSVR, we made usability, gameplay improvements and bug fixes. We wanted to make sure you guys on Steam also got these changes as well. Changes include removing pod movement speed penalty for low energy, changing the modification system to be more user friendly (a common request), new ammo counter display on the pod dashboard when disabling the helmet HUD in the options.

Gameplay
-Removed damage falloff from Blasters. Lowered their base damage and accuracy to compensate.
-Falling below 20% Energy no longer lowers the POD's movement speed.
-Meryl now awards schematics at the beginning of conversations, to ensure that players don't receive them while docked at an engineering table.
-Ammo counters are now visible on the POD frame when the helmet HUD is disabled.
-The player can no longer use up all of their energy in the training session.
-The player is now given SRUs when the training session prompts them to use one rather than at the beginning of the training session.
-Slight alterations to the initial enemy encounter in the Cryogenics Research Chamber.

Bug Fixes
-Fixed line flicker that could happen while aiming weapons.
-Fixed a trade station typo.
-Added collision to a few objects on floor 18.
-Added barriers to the Skydeck to prevent the player from getting around the security gate and not being able to get back before talking to Harvey.

Options/Help
-Added options for movement speed and turn speed to the settings menu.

Thank you guys for your support. We're always happy to iterate from your feedback so continue posting your thoughts on the forums!

Have fun,

Labrodex Team
