Patch 1.5 and 'Flying the Jolly Roger' DLC
Patch 1.5 and 'Flying the Jolly Roger' DLC are now availble in Russian only. English version is coming later this month. Sorry for the delay - we have already finished the translation itself, now all what is left is the final editing.
The patch will offer numerous improvements and fixes. And DX9 support.

Уже сегодня (6 декабря), примерно в 7 часов по МСК, выходит долгожданный патч 1.5 и не менее долгожданное дополнение "Под черным флагом"! Пока только для русскоязычных игроков, английская версия будет позже.
Патч 1.5
Патч потребует обязательной новой игры, учитывайте это, для нежелающих бросать старый профиль, мы сделаем отдельную ветку в которой вы сможете продолжить игру на старой версии, но дополнение в ней работать не будет.
Следующее DLC новой игры не потребует, поскольку патч 1.5 специально имеет задел под дальнейшее развитие игры.
Список изменений:
- Обновление движка до версии 2.9;
- Поддержка DirectX 9;
- Быстрый старт - можно взять заем у аббата;
- 20 новых достижений;
- Переделан баланс линейки "Последнего урока";
- Исправлен баг с ростовщиками;
- Исправлен баг с "Доплыть до";
- Квест "Опасный груз" перенесен в форт;
- Правка ряда разных багов и текстовых ошибок.

Even more achievements!
Great news for all ye pirates! We are preparing to roll out patch 1.5 with new content, DLC support and bug fixes. It will also contain 22 additional achievements and require a New Game.
Achievements are unobtainable until the patch is released.

Flying the Jolly Roger - Trailer
Pirates, we're rolling out a trailer for Flying the Jolly Roger DLC - the huge expanison which took 6 months to develop for our small team. At this moment, we are fininishing English translation, but it won't take long.
Certainly not the last expansion to come, although the next one will be even bigger in terms of content.

Coming Soon - Flying the Jolly Roger DLC
Dear community,
First, let us thank you for all support and faith you devote to the game and to us. Sea Dogs is a game on an ancient engine and it's alive and kicking on Steam because of you. Thank you!
Lately we have been working hard on numerous expansions and improvements. One of them is almost here and it is a fresh new DLC called "Flying the Jolly Roger". And it's big.
What to expect:
- Large quest line under a patronage of an infamous pirate baron;
- New ship;
- New weapon;
- New locations;
- New characters;
- Your very own pirate lair.
This DLC is designed for skilled characters who have already finished The Dutch Gambit but haven't yet started The Pirate Saga.
DX9 is still under development, this engine is hard to manage, you can trust us there! :D
Good news for those who consider the game's tutorial too prolonged and unclear - we are working on a Quick Start option!
Expect more news, patches, announcements, also bug and localization fixes! We are just getting started.
