Overview: What better way to start the new year except with a new and large content patch? Beta testing Chapter 2, Various bug fixes and lots of new things were involved in this patch. New dungeons, new weapons and armors, new synth recipes. Mining, fishing, and logging all overhauled. Working on fixing bugs in Chapter 2 as getting it ready for release has begun.
*** Bug Warning *** Anyone going into the new dungeon and fighting the boss on an old save will not be able to fight the boss possibly, a bug came up in testing that makes this boss and new character crash the game when loading his graphic. Pursue this boss at your own risk and remember to save frequently as we work through the bugs 😊
Characters: Geradas cores updated with new skill and spells for iron tier cores.
New optional character has been added. Can you find him (Click, Clack, Click?)?
Classes: Found some Bugs with the Dragon Knight, Knight, Paladin, and Dragon Samurai natural Status Guard, and they have been fixed and adjusted to the new Ailment and Affliction System.
Passive Status Guard added to the Dark Knight Class & Geradas cores.
Found some errors within the Dragon Shield breaker and Berserker Classes and fixed their skills to be in line with their intended use.

Skills: New monster skills added.
Elemental Barriers now have new animations.
Affliction DoT’s now only last 2 turns, (still stack infinitely)
Items: New elemental synth weapons added.

Iron tier polishing and balancing.
Desynthing Crystals and Orasha have been overhauled, better chance at getting back materials.
Life Shard buffed from 500 to 750 HP
Magic Shard buffed from 100mp to 250 mp.
New recipes Added to Holy and Shadow books.
Maps: Various map transitions and invisible walls fixed.
A new Bronze Tier 3 Hardmode Dungeon has been added to Tamar Island.
A new Iron Tier 3 Hardmode dungeon added to Tamar Island.
After beating the Boss of the Tutorial cave, you will now automatically descend the stairs.
Events: Various fixes to chapter 2 events that were bugged.
Various bugs found in events have been fixed (example) angel statue moving every time it was activated.
Fixed starting cave movement bug after boss.
Mining, Logging, and Fishing now have animations and sounds that play when you activate them.
New fishing locations have been added and old fishing locations have been fixed and changed.
Monsters: 5 new bosses added, over ~15 new monsters added.
Monsters will now drop power shards more often
Hard mode monsters now have a small chance to drop Power Crystals
Most bosses are guaranteed to drop a Power Crystal
Menu: new icons on some menu items.
Quests:
Bugs: Sometimes when opening the dragon forge the game will crash. Working on a fix for this.
Bandit camp not closing properly known issue.
Berserker Gash and Frenzied Gash are not meant to be free.
Fixed an issue where you could get a certain character after a story moment had already past.
Patch 27 Preview.
Hello!
There haven't been any patches lately and i apologize :)
Patch 27 is a big sweeping patch that i'm working on to do a few major things
New font for the game, making sure everything looks correct.
New battle cursor for combat.
New Mining, Herb, and Fishing node system.
And various fixes as well as chapter 2 launch prep.
Chapter 2 is currently unlocked in the Patch 27 beta branch, but will be re-locked once Patch 27 hits. It will then be unlocked again once i put up the Patch 28 beta branch.
The patch will hopefully be done sometime around the end of the week, possibly into next week.
Patch 27 BETA branch
There is a beta patch available for anyone interested that unlocks chapter 2 of the game as well as various changes we are thinking about making to the game.
This includes a font overhaul.
A new battle cursor.
Chapter 2 unlocked. (note chapter 2 is highly unstable)
This branch will soon have a new dynamic lighting system we would like to try fro certain areas of the game.
It includes various bug fixes, that will soon make it to the live version as well.

Mac OSX Launch
Hello all!
I want to formally apologize for the mac osx launch, As a new game developer i did not realize there were some flaws with the programs i was using to create the mac OSX version, It has been temporarily removed and will be unavailable for mac while we Trouble shoot and locate the problem and fix things on our end.
The mac OSX version will hopefully return as soon as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone who has not reached out to us yet to fix the issue.

Overview: Lots of minor bug fixes, and some character / skill fixes, added some minor content
Characters: Geradas cores now properly hold the correct amount of Enchantments.
Bug With the Geradas’ Exp gain, Formula added to make him fall into the lines of the other characters.
Elly’s combo strike will now proc physical based additives from gear.
Skills: Cleanse poison now properly named
Haste now last for 10 actions.
Faded image now last 8 turns.
Items: Fixed Geradas cores, and added more spells to the healing core.
Found a lot of Accessories missing synth recipes, and added them to their respective recipe books
Maps: Minor transition fixes in mount lional basement.
Castle town Tamarack had a broken transition, it is now working properly.
Fixed transitions in Forest of the Darkwood
Added more loot to Kaidens mansion.
New map added to the Kaidens mansion 3rd floor.
Events: Removed Clown High and low Game until something can replace it.
Bandit camp now takes less battles to clear, Boss added to end.
Fixed a bug where you could get a 3rd chest from the treasure chest shuffle game.
Monsters: Changed the hellspawns level, and changed Dominate mind to charm instead of confuse and berserk.

Patch V.024
Patch Notes ver.024 Overview: Focused on starting to add dialog to many NPC’S
A bunch of Bugs came up so this patch is coming out earlier before the npc dialog overhaul is fully finished.
Characters: none
Skills: most Cleric spells now generate small amounts of tp.
Fixed a description in the ninja’s poisons.
Items: found various items with wrong synth recipes and fixed them
Fixed the price on Earth Hearts from the Imp Vendor
Maps: The living forest and forest of Darkwood are flagged for improvement. They will get an overhaul when chapter 2 starts getting a face lift. These area’s should probably just be avoided for now since they are riddled with potential bugs. Altho the darkwood forest should be fully functional.
Events: The NPC’s in Astar Village will now have more to say and interact with when first speaking to ashar Before and After the first main story boss.
Added dialog choices to these conversations which may result in slightly different story.
Monsters: none
Menu: none
Quests: Fixed a bug with the Widow maker Quest in port Tamar. (maybe?) Seems to be working at least.
Bugs: Found several treasure chests with the wrong items in the Forest of the Darkwood.
The entrance to the Elder treant is now accessable
Found several treasure chsets in the Elder treant that had wrong items.
Removed the Bronze nugget job from the Tamarack Forge, this was a palentis only quest.
The Library in Tamarack is now accessable, and the invisible wall is now gone preventing from leaving.
The girl running the Tamarack Accessory shop is now no longer a bearded man
The book in Tamarack Inn now allows you to save properly.
Fixed a transition in the Tamarack Mansion
Fixed a transition bug in Castle Tamarack.
Patch v.023 is now live!
Patch Notes ver.023
Overview: A patch focused on adding some more branching options, paths to the story as well as some of the side content the player can experience. Now choosing certain options may change how things are approached and handled story wise past the first town.
Overhauled two of the classes that had been mostly ignored since I created them back at the beginning of the game’s creation. The Priest and Cleric should feel fundamentally different but similar now.
Fixed various small things found to be wrong with the game.
Characters: Ben priest overhaul. New skills and skill learned at different levels (might require a new save)
Skills: Dragon Cleric Skill overhaul, Skills changed in function and new skills added (might require a new save)
New priest skills added.
Items: Fire Synth recipe book now contains an weapon pattern it was misisng.
Dex based weapons now properly state Dex instead of the old Agi system.
Fixed the Prismatic Cluster and its adv versions to be more in tune with the balance of the game.
Synth Recipes Added for tier 2 dragon weapons.
Enchanted, infused, and Empowered weapons now properly display the proper bonus’s in the description, and have been changed to reflect their new stats. (this is only for newly created items, the old ones will still display the old info.)
Iron synth Enchanted weapons added.
Fixed Iron weapons that were using old stat formulas
Maps: Forest of hope, Extended tree at forest edge to be endless instead of having a black space.
Events: A new forced night in the Forest of Hope with branching options with multiple outcomes with some funny antics with Saldina. This is intended to be a nod to how different night is to day. There are two ways to trigger the event, the first time night falls in the forest, or going past the halfway mark in the forest for the first time. If you have already done the forest in the story this may require a new save to see and experience. Going back to see the event on an old save may break the game depending on where you are currently in the story. (recommended new games only)
Ben can now be left in the forest. Several events with multiple outcomes have been added branching out from this. (recommended new games only)
Burning bodies quest, now has a branching event that can lead to several outcomes. (recommended new games only)
Most of these branches stem from how you treat ben, being mean will yield the most available choices.
Outhouse event Added to the outhouse out side of Ashar’s house as well as the inn.
Fixed a book in franks mansion that didn’t exit properly when canceling the menu.
Treasure Chest mini game has received an overhaul.
Added Mini Label to the towns and important locations, You can toggle this on or off by holding the Shift and Enter key at the same time ( X and A on controller)
Monsters: Undead are more resistant to heal’s
Some Iron Tier monsters were not receiving proper stat boost's they are now.
Menu: Fixed the States Status menu, Renamed Ailments and Afflictions. Now shows a more accurate view of all the effects in the game.
Quests: Fixed the repeatable quest in the Palentis forge, should now properly remove and give the quest rewards and items from inventory.
Bugs: Various small bugs found and fixed.

Overview: Minor patch to address some bugs that were found in early testing
Characters: Slight buff to ben’s smite and holy beam damage.
Skills: Smite and Holy beam now have a scaling int component in addition spirit
Items: Bug with shard of fate not giving the display amount.
Maps: Can no longer get on walls in the forest hole.
Events: Vashars glow now properly shows as a completed quest. (new games only)
Can no longer have conversations with characters that have not been gotten yet in mount Lionel.
Monsters: The hard mode monsters in forest of hope are now stronger.
Lowered The forest stalkers Shadow Fade Evasion rate. Making them easier to hit.
Monsters weak to holy damage will now be even weaker.
Bugs: Fixed a nameplate on some guards at the Palentis gate.
Mac version is now available for testing, however it has never been tested. Will be watching the mac release carefully. Please let me know if there are any issues launching the game as this is the area i'm most concerned with.

Maps: Lowered the Encounter Rate slightly across all maps to help promote exploration.
Events: Fixed a Bug in Franks basement that caused players to get stuck when jumping the gap.
Fixed the guards by the gate when leaving Astar Village.
Fixed a bug allowing you to jump over a door in franks manor.
Monsters: Made shadow touched spiders more vulnerable to ice damage, Now 50% instead of 1%
