Patch 1.007

- Premade Friend splitting when searching fixed

(when friends hit search together, often they were breaking up with the message "unable to join game full". We've fixed this, there are still a few other scenarios that happen much less frequently where teams breakup, we're focusing on those next)


- Implimented a system to ban players, along with several bans. You guys are a great community, there have only been a few bad apples this free week

**Important Update: The Free week has been confirmed, and locked with Valve to start Dec 14th & they have been kind enough to give us some placement support on the front page our first day. Thanks everyone for keeping in tune, we're stoked this is finally locked in.

We’ve been doing a lot of preparation for the Free Week, which launches Dec 14! Free week will be an exciting opportunity to have new players try the game, and to build exposure and the player base. Alongside with the free week, we’ll be promoting a major discount, and also rolling out our concurrent user challenge! In this challenge we will have rewards and in game content for players, based on hitting milestones goals of concurrent users.

User Interface

-Base functionality added for Mouse navigation for all Menus (some additional polish is being still being added). We want to submit early to collect info prior to the free week

Added Graphic options for performance control. Tiled Lighting (dx11 lighting) / SSAO/ Shadows. Players can individually toggle each element, to finetune performance on lower grade pcs.

Crashes

Fixed for a threading issue, causing the game to randomly crash, particularly in Practice mode, FFA, and Posse

Gameplay

Gordo - Gordo had a 2nd pass of fine tuning after collecting data and analytics.

- Gordos Gatling Acceleration adjusted,now ramping up significantly quicker

- Gordo Molotov impact was initially delayed .5 seconds to accommodate for latency. After further testing the delay was brought to .2 seconds, to still allow players to react to it, without giving people the ability to evade through fire without taking dmg

- Fire does more dmg over time

Kidred

fix for kidred losing his aiming reticule while reloading

Killer

- Adjustments for killers knife, to reduce the overly broad hit detection when there is high latency

Character Updates


Gordo
A series of adjustments (both nerfs and buffs) to make the character more responsive to skilled play, and less overwhelming from unskilled play. Gattlign and slam now have layers where you can perform well, or poorly with them.

-Dead zone fixed : could not return fire for 18 frames, after being hit
-Gordo now required to accelerate crank on his gattling, instead of starting at full fire rate he now starts firing slow and build over time. A skilled gordo needs to “earn” firing at his opponent at max rate
-Max fire rate decreased
-Slight increase on dmg per bullet
-Gordos rage (slam) cooldown increased from 5secs to 6secs Gordo can now recover from his own slam animation in 50 frames instead of 84 frames allowing him more escape options in 3v3
-Molotov fire does not deal dmg for the first tick, to compensate for latency and make sure players dont receive dmg before the flames go off
-Molotov now deals dmg every .5 sec instead of every 1.0 secs, to compensate for the first tick not dealing dmg
-Flames Dmg volumes shrunk to better align with Fire FX. (was extending past the fire fx before)


Gunman
Was victim to over effective stunning

-Gunman Stun time fixed, (reduced 30 frames) to be consistent with other outlaws
-Gunman Knife impact fixed (reduced) to be consistent with other outlaws
-Gunmans Badge no longer equips a mysterious knife


Deserter
General push to decrease deserters ability to abuse high mobility techniques over and over. A fix to deserters snipe move, now properly causing stuns.

- Adrenaline cooldown increased to 20 sec. from 15 sec
- Adrenaline duration decreased to 6 sec from 7 sec
- Snipe not stunning bug fix. Players would slide around while falling down. Deserters snipe shot now stuns players
-Snipe move minimum distance now starts at 3 meters, instead of 7 meters. He was getting the ability to instantly stun someone at 7 meters, he now needs to charge
- Increased charge time on Impale slightly to prevent Impale Locks.
-Stamina recovery decreased, to reduce his mobility. Deserter still has 3 stamina units, but using them has a higher cost
- Collision system fixes to make sure deserter cannot shoot people into world Geo with Bayonet


Wolf
Wolf arrows are now more reliable, but adjusted to be less spammable.

- Wolfs arrows are now more precise & cleaner to hit. Arrow velocity increased, to decrease from the time they are launched to when they hit their target (making things more accurate)
- Wolfs consecutive hit Crit Dmg Bonus increased by 5 units
- Wolf basic arrow fire rate slowed down, to reduce toe to toe combat & Crit spamming and keep crits skill based. This compensates for the cleaner accuracy


War Monger
Cleaner throwing

-Tomahawk velocity increased, to make his throws more accurate


Mad Trapper
More responsive throwing

- Trappers throw time more responsive. Trap will leave hand 12 frames sooner


Kidred
More responsive throwing

- Dynamite now leaves his hands much faster on release
- Throwing trajectory has been corrected, so he can properly clear low objects in front of him. Before he would randomly clip objects in front of him making his dynamite unreliable when standing behind objects



General Features and Fixes



- Movesheets now available to view in Pregame, Lobby, and Character creation
- Gameplay coutndown now starts immediately. There was a deadzone of 3 seconds you had to wait before countdown which has been streamlined out
- Posse leader now receives 10% dmg (instead of 5%) for each kill in posse mode, to add incentive for combat instead of running
- Posse leader REMOVED from random search in 3v3. People can still vote for it specifically, but feedback was that random was better suited between deathmatch/domination
- fix for crow thumbnail showing in find friends dialogue instead of phantom
- fix for bounty penalty for leaving Arcade Mode
- Aesthetic fixes for colors in “elite” seasonal leaderboard
- misc fixes for some scenarios causing “stuck on launch” at matchmaking screen
- Added Option to "Start Match with AI" to Rookie Mode and Private Mode

Patch 1.002 Dropped Please Restart Steam to force update

Please make sure you restart your steam to force the update, so that everybody is playing on the same version. Not doing this may effect your matchmaking

Patch Notes - Oct 23 2015 pc 1.002 - Even Playing Field



Hey everybody! We are happy to drop in our 2nd patch since launch. This one is more major, and addreses a few larger scale items from community feedback. Thanks to the community, and Id also like to thank and my teammates for working hard to get these changes implimented so quickly.

Stay tuned for the next patch!


- Stats : All characters will start with 12 perk points, they can assign as they wish

- Players will no longer earn perk points as they level up

- Players will not lose bounty any more. If they ended a match with a negative score, their earnings will be zero and not negative

- Match Reshuffle - If teams are unbalanced, the game will redistribute players to reduce any skill differences where applicable. Premade teams stay together.

- Grit alternative Skins can now be unlocked via Barter Coins!

- Gordo - Fixed bug where Gordo could start running randomly at his max speed, (instead of his Min speed), at the start of acceleration. This was making him incredibly fast

- added a tunable cooldown timer for Gordos Ground Slam. Initially set to 4 seconds to match Blind cooldown, and Phantom Whips trike cooldown.

- Deserter can no longer charge his Cold stare (Snipe) while invisible in cover. Charging it will release him from cover

- bug fix for deserters heal not being interruptible if player holds down heal button


- reduced duration of “Boots” powerup

- reduced the initial default volume of music (won’t affect current installs)

- Moved spawnpoint on mines level so you don’t run into cart

- fix for a bug where wolf being able to CRIT hit if she rolls AFTER firing

- fix for Wolf girl turbo fire exploit caused by weapon switching


- Fixes for Crashes entering “Rank mode” with steam names with unusual characters

- fix for “Nice Bounty “ rewards not activating achievements when causing a character to level up


- Support added to Ban players/cheaters

- Matador “Blind” no longer will use stamina. instead it is set to a 4 second cooldown. This will keep blind a “skilled strike” (not spammable) while freeing up stamina for Matadors Pounce, evades, and sword slashes. It also means her Blind/Evade combo will only cost 1 stamina isntead of 2, making it more viable

- Mines level art optimization to increase FPS

- Fort level art optimization to increase FPS
