Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope

Are you ready for Skills and Power-Ups?

tl;dr BOOM go the aliens!

Guys, we have been hard at work on the newest update which will include a brand new skills and power-ups system that will help you annihilate those pesky aliens. Here's a sneak peek at the Serious Bomb skill that will destroy everything and anything within the 40 yard radius.

Arcadia Update is now available!

Arcadia planet is now available for all Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope owners on Steam. This new update brings us another step closer to our ultimate goal, which is the full release of the game on Steam. We still have a lot of cool stuff in store for The Last Hope, but more on that later.

With the Arcadia Update landing on Early Access, SSVR: The Last Hope continues its journey towards full release on Steam. This time Sam “Serious” Stone will visit Arcadia Minor, and its four different locations – Sea Breeze, Meadow of Death, The Lost Valley and The Final Breath – equal parts green and lush as they are gray and desolate.

As is tradition, Sam has got some new toys like the devastating cannon that will help him annihilate all comers. On Arcadia Minor Sam will face four new enemies, and a huge Earth Giant boss which looks to crush all that stand before him. Do you have what it takes to stop this colossal beast?

Along with the aforementioned fresh new content, the Arcadia Update offers the usual amount of adjustments, tweaks and improvements, all based on community feedback. The most important one is the reworked save system which now allows you to continue a wave where you left-off in a previous session. That means you no longer need to go through a planet in a single sitting. Hooray!

Arcadia Update release date revealed

tl;dr – Arcadia update is scheduled for release in the first week of June 2017.

As you all probably know, the Croteam VR team has been hard at work on the big Arcadia update for Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope. This new update is all but done, and while there is some polishing left to do, we’re so confident that we can officially announce the release window which will be the first week of June – real soon now.

Arcadia is equally green and lush as it is gray and desolate. It hides a danger unlike any other that you’ve seen before, so Sam has got to use every single one of his big guns to battle against tons of enemies – five of them new! Of course, Arcadia will be released with full co-op support, because blasting alien scum to bits is always more rewarding with friends.

What’s that? Will Arcadia be the final update to TLH, you ask? Why no, no it won’t. We’ve got some cool new surprises in store for you, but you’ll have to wait for more info on that. :)

In the meantime, how about a guessing game? Which new weapon will help Mr. Stone in his Arcadia adventures? Which one would you like to see in all it’s VR glory?

Arcadia Update is coming soon!

Coordinates have been set and BC Saratoga is now en route to planet Arcadia.
ETA – soon! (Gameplay is shaping up real nice and we'll have more details to share next week.)

Valtos Update is now available!

Hi everyone, we have some great news to share today! Croteam VR has just released another huge update to Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope that sends you to a brand new planet infested by those pesky aliens that need to be blown to bits. The update features a new planet – Valtos – featuring four different locations/maps including

  • The Swamp,
  • Ancient Breeze,
  • The Old Forest and
  • Green Dream

Also featured in the Valtos Update are six different enemies including Kalopsy, Siren, Swamp Monster, Air Trooper, Technopolyp and Air Sniper Trooper. After dealing with them Sam will have to fight toe to toe with the Swamp Hive boss, as scary as it is slimy.

To help him in his mission, General Stone's arsenal got even deadlier with new additions including a bow with piercing/explosive arrows and the deadly Devastator.

Valtos Update also includes many different tweaks, fixes and optimizations such as vastly improved precision for the default sword projectile casting mode and improved shield energy display. Full change log is available on Steam Discussion Forums, where you can always get in touch with us to let us know your ideas.

HF and thank you for supporting this Early Access title and Croteam VR!
