Hi everybody!

I have reuploaded a new version of Settled, fixing the "nw.exe/app" which was still running in the background, even after you exit the game.

For those of you returning, you may have to uninstall the current game then reinstall this new build. Thank you for all your patience!

For those new, welcome and enjoy!

IF for some reason it still manages to continue running in the background after exit; end the process for "nw.exe/nwjs.exe" in your task manager. May the Gods forgive me and lessen the impact of the lightning bolt, headed for my rump.

IMPORTANT!
Hi again everyone, just as a PSA/reminder, there is still a chance that the game will still be running in the background even after exiting. Current fix is opening your task manager and killing/stopping the Nw.exe.

Please read this prior to purchasing as it is an inconvenience, i am sorry everybody. And if you wish to hold out purchasing for a bit while i still try to get it to not being a goober, i completely understand, no hard feelings :).

All in all, i do appreciate everyone's support, understanding, enjoyment and reactions of Settled. Thank you to everyone's input, every input. Just as much as this is a learning curve for me, i'm so appreciative of all of you.

I'm a goof egg
(I posted this a lil while ago, but it's not...posting. So, groundhog day this b***h)

It's come to my attention (and rightfully voiced by users) that the exe is still running in the background, even after you exited the game. I thought i fixed this issue prior to uploading to steam, obviously it's affecting others, and i am really sorry to everyone for my bad.

There's a forum of construct 2 users with similar issues of the ghost "nw.exe" still remaining (https://www.scirra.com/forum/nwjs-not-completely-closing-when-exiting-app_t166669) - for those wanting more info.

In the meantime, the current work-around is by killing the nw.exe (settled icon) from your task manager. It's a silly temp, and i really do apologise for any inconvenience.

I'm working hard to figure out a proper fix for this lil bugger, but i just wanted to thank everyone for their support and updates on everything "Settled".

I just wanted to say to everyone, thank you so much for the support and interest in Settled. I hope that you all enjoy this little story, and i hope you all walk away thinking i'm a f****d up guy hahaha.

Seriously, It's been an absolute pleasure making this, even though i had no idea what i was doing, and it's been put together using glue and duct-tape. Much love to all of you and i'll be working on another game very soon.
