We want to assure everyone that Shadow of the Road is progressing smoothly and steadily. Our team has been hard at work, coding, designing, and crafting a rich, immersive world that we believe will transport players to an era of honor, intrigue, and conflict.
We can confirm that we have reached several important milestones in our development process, but for now… Well, we will announce more in the future!

In tactical combat your options don't stop at moving and using normal attacks. Every character comes with their unique abilities that will help you dispatch the enemies in your path. Some, like the one seen below, will target several enemies at once.

The vengeful head of the Kobayashi Clan may think himself samurai, yet he readily uses tools of war supplied by ⚙️East Nippon Company⚙️ on his quest to settle past grudges with blood. Your confrontation is inevitable, so be prepared!

What do you like the most about Shadow of the Road? - The tactical battles, the mix of feudal Japan with steampunk, and of course all the shining katanas, tachi, odachi and wakizashi.
What’s your biggest inspiration? - Every reference I get from our concept artists!
What's the one thing that's always on your work desk? - I don't have a desk.
