Shadowplay: Metropolis Foe
Shadowplay to be deleted from Steam on May
Greetings, children of the night:
This is our last announcement for all of you before we shut down this project, at least temporarily. It’s hard to believe, but the game that took us so many years of hard work will cease to exist on Steam in a few weeks. Shadowplay: Metropolis Foe was fully released in August 2021. On that very day, we also announced that 42 Foundation will no longer support it — so we guess this is not a surprise.
We are sorry for not giving notice sooner, but we were still hoping to resurrect Shadowplay somehow. The good news is that those of you who already own the game will be able to download, install and launch the game as many times as you want. Also, the store page and the associated forums on Steam are remaining accessible to everyone.
Feel free to ask us any other questions you may have, we’ll answer them in the clearest way possible. Thanks for your kind understanding.
Best regards, 42 Foundation, Crossingstar Studio, and 2P Games

Despite the fact that we're happy to announce that Patch 1.00 is live, this is a bittersweet day both for the team behind ShadowPlay: Metropolis Foe and those who expected to see the potential of this game unleashed after its full release. A lot of things have happened from the first day of development until now, and this situation compels us to announce that 42 Foundation will no longer support ShadowPlay.
This full-release patch is our way to compensate our fans for all the time they spent waiting for us to announce something new. Thanks to our lovely players and friends who never were afraid of sharing their sincere feedback. Also, thanks to the partners who trusted in this project despite the circumstances.
If you keep enjoying the game or did it anytime, we’ll appreciate you thinking about joining 2P Games’ Discord server to share your experience with others like you.
Take care of yourselves! See you in the next story.
