Ver 1.18 & -50% off sale
There's no huge update for now, we simply prepare for Korean localization files in this version, then we can test it in background. There's no anything else.
Next month we plan to do a new English translation, and this may be the last one, no matter you are satisfied or not, it won't be modified again. We took too much time and money on English translation, did 4 different versions for English text, it's enough for us to release some other languages. So, if you are still not satisfied with it, we are sorry for that, cause we won't have enough time or energy to deal with English text.
Though there are some problems on the English translation, we will remember this and avoid related issues in our future projects.
And, a 50% discount for Shan Gui is available at 20th PDT, this promotion will last for a week. Be prepared if you are interested in it.

Ver 1.17
· Window title now binded to selected language, restart game to enable it. After this patch the game won't show "??" in Korean, Traditional Chinese and other non-Chinese OS.
· Ren'Py engine now updated to version 6.18.2.
· Updated fonts.
· Other minor tweaks.
It's been a long time since our last update, because the lead programmer got a serious illness and haven't recovered. Due to this issue, the update progress for Shan Gui might be slow.
The game engine Ren'Py is now updated to a new version and will run more smooth. And, the brand new version 6.18.1 will support "Self-voicing" function. That means, if you press V button in game and get a message saying "Self voicing enabled", the dubbing will start automaticly. You can press V button to enable/disable this function at any time. It is a function call from your OS, self voicing will not work on the dubbed sentences.
Here is the changelog for Ver 1.15:
1. Fixed runtime errors and achievement unlock issues on Linux.
2. Fixed some issue when playing BGM.
3. Released a free OST DLC, so you can play it with the new Steam Music Player.
4. Updated some typo strings and other tweaks. (More typos fixed in 1.16)
Shan Gui did not reach our expected sales, and the dub remaking may cost more than 2K dollars to finish, so we've shelved this plan.
Thank very much for your 85% positive reviews, the game will have a 50% discount from 20th, Oct (Pacific Standard Time).
We just had a remake on the code of whole game and most English translations in this latest version.
Shan Gui is now compatible with future content (if appropriate), and the new English text will give you a better understanding.
It should be noted that some English users may see a Chinese interface when the update is completed, just change the language setting in Options(“设置”) and it will be all good.
First of all I would like to say we understand the English translation is not good, and we are reworking on it. It may take a while to for us to finish, so I am sorry that updated English text is not included in this patch.
Someone wants to download the OST for Shan Gui, so we have removed the restrictions, now you can find all 11 songs both in game client and directory. (After v1.15 the OST is removed from game client, and we released a free OST DLC, to support Steam Music Player.)
In some very rare situations the voice will not work, it has been optimised.
A new interface is now avaliable to help you guys who use joysticks, thanks for DeVEQANN's feedback.
To active the new joystick button 6, 7 and 8, you need to remove persistent data of the game(Don't worry it is not your save file). It is located in Steam\steamapps\common\Shan Gui\game\saves and %AppData%\Roaming\RenPy\ShanGui(For Mac: ~\Library\RenPy\ShanGui, For Linux: ~\.renpy\ShanGui), you need to delete the .persistent file from these two directories.
(But first you may need to disable Steam Cloud.)
1. Fixed hotkey not working when CapsLock is on.
2. Had small tweak on some background music/sound fade-in & fade-out.
3. Updated idioms for Traditional Chinese.
4. Updated some English translations.
