⠀⠀⠀⠀Taking a deep breath, Aglovan nodded. "You're right. This is no time for despair. The people of Mantaria depend on us. We must reclaim our world, for every tree, every creature, and every soul that calls this place home."

Gamescom 2024: A Remarkable Experience
Our team had the incredible opportunity to attend Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, where we showcased Shields of Loyalty and connected with a vibrant community of developers, publishers, and gaming enthusiasts. The event was a massive success, allowing us to expand our network, gain valuable insights, and build partnerships that will propel the game to new heights. We’re more motivated than ever to deliver an unforgettable experience for all of you.
New Warlord Faction Buildings
We’re excited to introduce new Warlord buildings, starting with the Barbarian Pits (Infantry Barracks). This structure will be the cornerstone of your Warlord armies, providing a place to train and house your basic infantry units. As you upgrade the barracks, you’ll unlock stronger and more diverse units to bolster your forces. The Warlord Highlands, where these buildings will be located, will play an immersive role in your strategic planning and battlefield dominance.
BONUS: New Detailed Map Close-ups
Here you can see the detailed close-up mission selection which we are implementing on to the new map styles. Expect more polishing and quality of life improvements as they are all on the way to the development oven of Mosaic Mask Studio!

We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting the release of our Lore Pieces. Due to some necessary edits, we’ve postponed their release, but we’re excited to announce that the first two pieces will be shared together today in the Steam Community area. We’re thrilled to bring you another update as we continue to expand the world of Shields of Loyalty.
This time, we're taking you deeper into the heart of Mantaria with a first look at our latest map, which is currently a work in progress. Alongside this, we are introducing the Warlord Highlands, a rugged and strategic region where the Warlord Faction will establish their dominance.
New Map:
A World in Progress
Our team has been hard at work designing a detailed and expansive new map that will challenge your tactical abilities like never before. While still in development, this map will offer diverse terrains and strategic points that will test your decision-making skills. Each region is being crafted to provide unique challenges and opportunities, making every playthrough a fresh experience.

The Warlord Highlands
Located in one of the most treacherous parts of Mantaria, the Warlord Highlands will be the stronghold of the Warlord Faction. Here, you’ll find a variety of Warlord Faction buildings, each serving as a vital piece of their war machine. From towering fortresses to hidden camps, the Highlands are where the Warlords will gather their strength and prepare for battle. The design of this region reflects the raw power and relentless spirit of the Warlords, and it will serve as a key battleground in your journey to liberate Mantaria.

New Features
In addition to the new map and the Warlord Highlands, we’re introducing some exciting new gameplay features.
Now, flying units and land units can be positioned on the same hex, and you’ll have the ability to toggle between their controls easily. This adds a new layer of tactical depth, allowing for more complex strategies during combat.
We’re also making it easier for players to track their exploration progress. Ruins will now be clearly marked if they have been looted, so you’ll always know if an area has been fully explored or if there’s still treasure waiting to be discovered.

Tier 2: Sylphs
Commanding the air and weather, Sylphs bring a tempest to the battlefield. Their ability to control the winds allows them to disrupt enemy formations and shield allies from harm.
Tier 3: Mother Nature
The embodiment of nature’s wrath, Mother Nature wields the primal forces of earth, water, air, and fire. Her overwhelming presence can turn the tide of battle with devastating natural phenomena.
New Warlord Heroes
Introducing legendary heroes to lead your Warlord armies:
Mammoth Rider Xho
Charging into battle atop a massive mammoth, Xho wields a colossal spear with unparalleled strength. His powerful attacks can break enemy lines and inspire fear in the hearts of foes.
Chief Manaskin

Warlord Faction Units: Siege Units
Warlord Faction Siege Units are ready to demolish enemy formations and formidable castles to dust
Bone Ballistae (Tier 1)
Introducing the Bone Ballistae, the backbone of your early siege arsenal. These fearsome machines, constructed from the remains of fallen foes, hurl massive bolts that can pierce through enemy defenses with ease. The Bone Ballistae’s devastating power lies in its ability to break enemy fortifications and create chaos from afar.
Stone Catapult (Tier 2)
As you advance in your campaigns, the Stone Catapult becomes a pivotal part of your siege strategy. Built from ancient stone and reinforced with sturdy wood, this catapult launches enormous boulders that crush everything in their path. Its range and impact are unmatched, making it a critical asset during prolonged sieges.
Fire Sling (Tier 3)
At the pinnacle of your siege capabilities stands the Fire Sling. This upgraded catapult not only launches heavy projectiles but also engulfs them in flames, turning each shot into a fiery missile that spreads destruction and panic among enemy ranks. Ranger Sindri
A master of stealth and precision, Ranger Sindri excels in reconnaissance and skirmish combat. New Army Management UI
We are thrilled to unveil our new Army Management UI, designed to streamline your strategic decisions and enhance ease of use. This revamped interface combines army management and upgrade screens into a single, intuitive hub. Now, managing your troops and fortifications will be more efficient than ever, allowing you to focus on leading your armies to victory.

New UI is combining both training and army management screens for ease of use and decreasing extra screens for these actions.

New Warlord Faction Units
Prepare to expand your command with two new types of units, each bringing unique strengths and tactical advantages to the battlefield.
Ranged Units:
Spear Throwers (Tier 1)
- Reliable and efficient, these units excel at medium-range attacks with their deadly spears.
Elven Bowmen (Tier 2)
- Highly skilled archers with precision and agility, capable of inflicting significant damage from a distance.
Pyromaniacs (Tier 3)
- Masters of fire, these units launch incendiary attacks that cause widespread damage and chaos among enemy ranks.
Skirmisher Units:
Nomadic Spies (Tier 1)
- Stealthy and resourceful, these scouts gather crucial intelligence and disrupt enemy plans.
Fast Scouts (Tier 2)
- Quick and agile, these units excel at reconnaissance and swift strikes, outpacing their foes.
Nordic Rangers (Tier 3)
