Welcome to a brand new Enemy Overview article. Who’s trying to attack our castle this time?
It’s...the Mob!
[previewyoutube="EnqJQEgIRZo;full"] Don’t let hilarious looks fool you. Behind the facade of silliness, the Mob Enemy is really...well, actually they are still ridiculously silly, but they are very, very weak and cowardly. The weakest enemy in the game in fact.
If you want to practice your aim, they are the perfect targets. Sometimes, they don't even run away from incoming projectiles. They will just cower in fear awaiting the final crash of a flying car. On the other hand, who wouldn’t? But at least they have each other. You'll never see a Mob enemy without the rest of his gang around. Pillage together, crushed by crazy combos together.
Now let's have a serious discussion: “The Mob—are they lvl 1 crooks or lvl 100 bosses?” Share your thoughts in the comments below and join the Discussion on Steam and Discord.

Sometimes you have to throw away a lot of ideas to land the one you like. For our in-game catapult, it was around 30—watch the video to check out some of them.
[previewyoutube="vFi_BeDWNJE;full"]
We considered Leonardo da Vinci's catapult, the rotating hammer, and many others, but they weren’t enough. We wanted a design screaming “use me to throw something!”. Finally it hit us—hands. What’s better for throwing things than a hand?
Normally, you’d be limited by weight and environment. Ok, maybe you can pick up a car, but where to throw it? (Unless you really, really want to be fined for vandalism.) There are no such limits in Ridiculous Catapult Simulator. Your hand becomes a catapult and the castle defence is in your hands! Literally.
What do you think about the concept? Let us know in the comments below and join the Discussion on Steam and Discord.
Now that we deliberately got you in the mood for hitting things, why don’t you hit that “Add to wishlist” button? Give it a shot!

The number one rule of ballistic combat is to know your enemy. In this new series of Enemy Overview articles, we will present you the basic characteristics of other-worldly creatures that try to invade our castle.
First, let’s meet Slime.
[previewyoutube="5MUAXF_NGrQ;full"] It may look like a matryoshka doll, it may replicate like a matryoshka doll, but you definitely don’t want to put it on your cupboard.
Slimes’ defense mechanism makes them duplicate when their Health Points drop below a certain threshold. More and more slimes will spawn from a single one so you have to react quickly or deal AoE (Area of Effect) damage to stop them from spreading.
