Bits and Fixes Update

This update is slated for release next week!

Major Changes

The King’s Caprice Extended

The rewards and difficulty for the King’s Caprice event have been extended. The new grand prize now rewards 100 Antique Tokens, and requires 14 million points.

The event still features 30 reward tiers. Some older rewards were removed and merged into other rewards.

Dragon Invasion Rushing

With the use of gems, it is now possible to claim rewards you couldn’t quite reach. This function is similar to the Content Pass; selecting a reward you haven’t unlocked will prompt an option to rush with gems, unlocking this reward and all those before it. These unlocks are personal and do not affect the guild’s progress.

One important difference however is that this option is only available once the event is over. Take this time to contribute to the guild’s effort!

Other Major Changes

  • Added Ukrainian language support.
  • Added Leaderboard support for Dragon Invasion event. Keep in mind the leaderboards only update at the end of a wave!

Minor Changes

  • Added content from some old collections (Back to School, Arabian Nights, etc) to the Antique Store, as well as content from some past giveaways.

  • Reduced the Moonstone cost for the Golden Artifact and Opulent Jewel fusions.

Dragon Invasion Update

This update is slated for release next week!

Dragon Invasion Event

The prosperity of the city has not gone unnoticed. In ancient caves far, far away, dormant eyes flare with malice and take to the skies to attack! The dragons are coming!

As the dragons have their greedy eyes set on the King’s sizable fortune, all guilds are summoned to defend the city! Team up with your guild and assist the Airship in its seven assaults with your best Heroes and equipment to tackle this fire-breathing menace!

Dragon Invasion is a major event spanning a full week. It fills the gap between Tower of Titans and Lost City of Gold and was specifically designed to be less intense in terms of player input, allowing players to continue working towards other goals, such as mastering items or making profits. In fact, an adequately prepared player can provide a major contribution with even one short session per day.

The Dragon Invasion event will begin on June 30th at 11am EDT and end on July 7th (also 11am). Don’t miss it!

*Please note that the Dragon Invasion Event Leaderboard will not be available during its first run.

Dragon Invasion Basics

With the dragons flying high in the sky, the only way to challenge them is to take to the skies ourselves! Only the Airship can accomplish this, but it must be supplied with crew and equipment! The event is split into 7 cycles (one per day), each consisting of two phases.

The Supply Phase

While the airship is grounded, all players in the guild can assign a party of Heroes (and a Champion) to increase the Airship’s Power. This new stat is calculated differently than regular Hero Power, but you can still expect your most powerful Heroes to contribute the most. Up to 5 boosters can also be assigned to further increase your party’s Airship Power! As dragons reward no components or XP, all boosters instead provide an Airship Power boost. This can be an opportunity to get use out of your most neglected boosters!

That’s not all though! Under the command of your Heroes are 10 brave, nameless and faceless Troopers. These guys can be equipped with 4 pieces of equipment each (40 total), increasing the Airship Power accordingly. Equipment given to Troopers is sold at full gold value, too. We’re not running a charity here.

The Assault Phase

Once the Supply Phase time runs out, the Airship will take off and, for the next 12 hours, mercilessly assault dragons with cannonballs. Your guild’s total accumulated Airship Power will slowly deplete the invading dragons’ HP and unlock rewards as they are defeated.

Once this phase is complete, the Airship will return to land and another supply phase will begin. Heroes that participated in the previous assault will need to rest, and a new squad of Troopers will need fresh equipment for the next wave!

New Content

Dragonmarks

Exclusive to the Dragon Invasion event, this new currency boasts a few uses for experts and new players alike.

  • It can be used to upgrade furniture beyond level 15
  • It can be used to upgrade the Dragon’s Hoard (see below)
  • It can be used to rush furniture upgrade times, similar to gems

The Dragon’s Hoard

This ultimate bin provides storage capacity for every single resource out there! Its capacity is lower than a regular bin, but it's a major boost overall! The Dragon’s Hoard initially holds only Common resources, but unlocks Uncommon resources at level 6 and Exotic resources at level 11.

It can only be earned from the Dragon Invasion event, and only one such bin can be owned, so treat it well!

Level 16+ Furniture

As mentioned above, it is now possible to upgrade furniture beyond level 15, provided you have enough Dragonmarks. Each upgrade requires Dragonmarks in addition to gold (or gems).

In addition to the usual benefits, some furniture gain a bonus effect at level 16 and above.

Resource Bins
+1% resource regen speed per level above 15.

Counter
+1% Max Energy per level above 15.

Dragonbane Cannonballs

These special boosters can only be used during the Dragon Invasion event and are exclusive to the Dragon Vault store. They’re stronger than regular boosters, so they can add an extra kick to an Airship assault!

Minor Changes

  • (Community request) Added a new Full Moon Fusion to create Repair Kits, costing 10 Golden Artifacts.
  • Following the Dragon Invasion, all future events will now begin at and end at 11am EDT.

Balance Changes

  • Reduced the resource building requirement on resource bins to account for the newly available level 16 to 20.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing Momo to not show up in the pet list when purchased from the Antique store.
  • Fixed a bug where events would occasionally show an incorrect Grand Prize.

This and That Update

This update is slated for release next week!

New Content

Extra Slots

Five new Hero slots, two Craft Slots and two Quest Slots are now available for high level players.  We’ve also added four extra Virtual Expansions (those +1 furniture space upgrades).

Rank 4 Skills

A new rank is now available for all Hero skills. To claim that extra bit of power for your own, you’ll need to make use of those fancy new elements that just came out! Rank 4 skills are also exclusive to Titan classes.

Mythic XP Drink

Coming in hot as a fusion exclusive, this new tier of drink skips XP values altogether and increases the Hero’s level by one! It’s perfect for those higher level Heroes, especially if they’re held back by the Training Hall.

Each can be fused by using a few of each previous tier of XP drinks.

Champion Stories

Added new Champion stories for Lilu, concluding her storyline. What happened to Grimar? Let’s find out!

Minor Changes

  • Elemental Barriers now grow less effective as they are damaged. For example, a full Barrier reduces damage taken by 80%, but a half-destroyed barrier reduces damage by only 40%.
  • When all quest slots are owned, it is now possible to rush them all at the same time with gems.
  • It is now possible to buy boosters from the booster selection screen, if you do not own any of a specific booster.

Balance Changes

  • The Samurai’s niche (a guaranteed powerful attack on round 1) was more or less negated by Elemental Barriers. To remedy this, the Samurai’s first attack now deals full damage, bypassing Elemental Barriers.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed missing texts for Xolotl Spirit+ and Quetzacoatl Spirit+.
  • Fixed animation issues with the Bunbun Buckler.
  • Fixed missing effect for the Mercenary class skill, which grants bonus DEF. It was always there, but not displayed correctly.
  • Fixed the Yeti Familiar’s Icicle flying around like crazy after beating quests.
  • Fixed missing Tier icons for items in the market.
  • Fixed Royal Merchant reward buttons showing up as green instead of golden.
  • Fixed an instance of Greater Moonstones being sold in the Antique Store instead of Perfect Moonstones.
  • Fixed an issue with the Wealthy Rat Balloons decoration causing customer animations to break.
  • Fixed split-screen functionality for Android devices.
  • Fixed some Tower of Titans battles not being properly skipped when battle speed is set to "Skip".
  • Fixed Wall Decorations not properly opening the appropriate Mega Pack to purchase if not owned.
  • Fixed display issue with item types in chest opening celebration screen.
