Collection Book & Vanity Gear Update

This update is slated to go live next week!

New Features

The Collection Book

Collectors worldwide rejoice! The magical Collection Book is a brand new feature for completionists to flex their vast wealth of mastery across all items in the game. Acting not only as a convenient reference for all* blueprints in the game, it also accepts donations of items to fill its pages with knowledge.

The Collection Book functions as follow:

  • Any mastered blueprint will have its page unlocked in the Collection Book, containing basic information pertaining to it.
  • Once a page is unlocked, one of each quality of this item can be donated to the book to fulfill your collection. Each such donation increases your collection score and reveals bonus information on that blueprint.
  • Bonus information includes many personal statistics for that item, such as amount sold, or its biggest sale**.
  • Donating all 5 qualities of an item completes the page, unlocking it as Vanity Gear! (see below)
  • Increasing your collection score unlocks multiple rewards! Expert collectors can look forward to unlocking the Archivist Glasses blueprint. The truly ambitious among them can aim for the top; the prestigious Tome of All-Knowledge blueprint. Other Collection Book rewards include bonuses to fusion speed, legendary fusion success chance, and various other consumables.

*As they are components, Moonstone and Runestone blueprints are not part of the Collection Book.
**Some item stats were not tracked before this update, and will thus start at 0. For others, approximations were made based on stats we were tracking.

Vanity Gear

Have you ever wanted a Ninja that actually looked like a Ninja? Tired of your Spellblades wearing Raven Masks? Look no further, Vanity Gear is here!

Unlocked in tandem with the Collection Book, the Vanity Gear system is available to all Heroes. By contributing to the Collection Book, players can make standard pieces of equipment available as special customization options for their Heroes. Vanity Gear changes the appearance of items worn by the Hero, while keeping the power and statistics of the real item “worn underneath”.

If your idea of a barbarian is a naked dude with a wooden club, then rejoice. It is now a possibility!

Here are the rules surrounding this system:

  • A blueprint must be mastered and have its Collection Book page completed to be available as Vanity Gear.
  • Once unlocked as Vanity Gear, an item can be applied to any number of Heroes.
  • Heroes can only equip Vanity Gear they can normally wear (must meet level and class requirements).
  • The appropriate slot must have an item equipped for the Vanity Gear to display. If the base equipment is removed or breaks, the Vanity Gear will automatically be re-applied as soon as a new item is equipped.
  • To equip a piece of Vanity Gear, the Hero must wear an item belonging to the same body slot. This also means that a Thief can, for example, wield a Vanity Gear dagger while actually using a bow, since they share the same body slot.
  • Accessories (aside from shields) are not available as Vanity Gear since they are not displayed on Heroes.
  • Vanity Gear are not actual items (do not take inventory space, cannot be traded or sold) and thus do not break (though the real items worn by the Hero still can).

Champion Stories

Added new stories for Argon, Lilu, Sia and Donovan.

Minor Changes

  • The player profile now tracks the player’s collection score and total Trophies earned (from guild bounties).
  • The fusion selection menu will no longer close after starting a fusion.
  • Added a market button to purchase chests on the fusion interface.
  • Various community-requested improvements to the guild request interface.

Balance Changes

  • Bounties and tasks asking for T11 items will now ask for less, to account for the inherent difficulty involved in crafting them.
  • The surcharge cost of all Luxurious and Opulent items has been significantly reduced.
  • Increased the quantity of Sigils offered in the Antique Store.
  • King Bounties asking for guns/crossbows/wands will no longer ask the player for pack blueprints they do not own.

Quality-of-Life Improvements and Bug Fix Update

Major Changes

Titan Soul

Players will now be met with a confirmation pop-up when using a Titan Soul on a Hero. In addition, this pop-up will display useful information such as improved stats, unlocked skill slots, and so on.

Minor Changes

  • It is now possible to partially fulfill a guild request.
  • It is now possible to start multiple Full Moon Fusions in one go, so long as they do not require an Equipment component.
  • In the Antique Store, players will now receive a warning when attempting to buy a blueprint for which they lack the worker(s).
  • Added a new Daily Task type for fusions.
  • Appropriate fusions will reward favor during the King’s Caprice event.
  • The quest victory flow will now skip the Hero XP portion if all participants are level 40.

Balance Changes

  • Increased the value of the Bleak Chest.
  • Reduced the Moonstone cost of fusions to create Chests and Components.
  • Reduced the Moonstone cost of Sigil fusions by 1
  • Reduced the time and cost of several mid-level furniture upgrades. This is the first step in an upcoming series of tweaks to help new players get through the mid-game faster.

  • Fixed a bug preventing Hemma from going on a quest if her base power was too low to enter a quest, even if her modified power was sufficient.

  • Fixed the positioning of sheathed katar-styled daggers on customers.

Tier 11 Blueprints Update

New Features

Tier 11

Tier 11 is here! Brave the Bleakspire Peaks and battle the Harpies to collect their valuable components to start crafting the most powerful equipment and... wait a minute, what’s a Sigil!?

As items of myths and legends start being introduced, the value and difficulty of acquiring these items increase proportionally. T11 items are worth roughly double that of T10. However, crafting such items requires a brand-new component; Sigils. Read more on those below.

In addition, due to their value and rarity, the acquisition of T11 items will be very limited outside of crafting them.

Additional T11 info

  • Players of level 60 and up can trade Tier 11 items on the market
  • Heroes of level 32 and up can wield Tier 11 items
  • Bleakspire Peak requires player level 62 to be unlocked with gold.

Sigils

A brand new, special component required to craft any T11 item. The Sigil of Might, Sigil of Grace and Sigil of Spark are available almost exclusively through fusion. Each of them requires a Flawless T6+ item alongside some components found at the Bleakspire Peak.

Although Sigils are a component fusion, they are not bound by the rules of Full Moon Fusion, and can be fused at any time. Like any other component, they can also be traded freely on the market.

Minor Changes

Guild Boosts

The Guild Boost mechanic has been simplified, although its function remains the same. Upgrading a Guild Boost will increase its bonus permanently, as it is no longer tied to the time remaining. The efficiency of a Guild Boost will no longer be reduced as time passes, although it will become inactive if time runs out completely

Titan Classes

Grandmaster

The Titan upgrade of the Monk has been modified. In addition to its previous effects, it now also has access to one highly powerful exclusive skill.

Trickster

The Titan upgrade of the Thief has been modified. In addition to its previous effects, it now also slightly improves Polonia’s leader skill, if paired up with her.

Other Changes

  • The default sorting for furniture found in the basement has been improved and should now feel more natural.
  • Players will now receive special notifications about guild promotions, demotions, new members and members leaving. These notifications will display upon visiting the guild hall.

Balance Changes

Emerald Inn & Tavern

For the sake of a smoother progression, some of the later levels of the Emerald Inn and Tavern buildings have been made cheaper in terms of required ticks.

Other Balance Changes

  • Increased the Moonstone cost of several Full Moon Fusions (particularly ones related to chests).
  • T10 items have had their milestone upgrades updated to accommodate the unlocking of T11 items.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Back Button on Android erroneously bringing up Exit prompt when used in Design menu.
  • Fixed "Max Capacity" indicator in Inventory not appearing if the "Special" tab was selected first.
  • Fixed minor text issue with Evasion tooltip in Hero Creator menu.
  • Fixed King's Caprice favor indicator on HUD incorrectly showing up as full under certain conditions.
  • Fixed Steam icon in Achievements menu not properly opening Steam achievements.
  • Fixed damage numbers during quests appearing outside of the screen boundaries.
  • Fixed Fusion item card not properly updating inventory count when purchasing missing components from Market.
  • Fixed text appearing improperly or distorted on various menus and screens (Chest screen, Fusion complete screen, etc).

  • Fixed missing text localization in multiple languages
