Currently, TEAM DCC is preparing several measures to provide a high level of satisfaction for our services. In particular, we are focusing on improving the areas that customers want or have experienced inconvenience with as quickly as possible.
Before announcing the patch schedule, we would like to provide a preview of upcoming updates so that you can see what will be improved and added.
- Bug and Balance Fixes We are currently fixing some weapons' issues with excessive knockback and balance issues. Also, we are fixing problems where players cannot progress to the actual game from the pre-game waiting room (BOD) or where the game does not start properly.
- Addition of Battle Royale Solo Mode (Beta) A PvP mode, Battle Royale Solo Mode (Beta), where 20 players participate, will be added. The goal is to survive against 19 hostile players and monsters.
- Addition of Bot System In Battle Royale Solo Mode, AI bots will be added. If a certain number of players do not join a match for a certain amount of time, bots will participate in the match. Also, we are preparing a system where members who are playing DCC for the first time will play against bots first before joining a game against users.
- Developer-organized GOD Mode Event We plan to regularly hold GOD Mode and create events where members and developers can communicate together.
- Gift from TEAM DCC Finally, we are preparing a gift that expresses our apologies and gratitude to our members who have enjoyed DEAD CIDE CLUB despite various inconveniences.

We are sorry to announce that the maintenance scheduled to run until 5PM(PST) today has been extended. We're extending the maintenance due to the fact that it took longer than expected. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Maintenance for server stabilization and system improvement will be conducted from 2 p.m. on March 10, 2023 (PST). The major changes that will apply during the maintenance are as follows:
Major Changes:
- 'GOD mode' release - Temporary deactivation of ‘Domination' and 'Horde' modes - Leaderboard error correction and compensation rewards - Preparation for 'Battle Royale Solo' release is completed
Based on feedback from our CLUB members, we have temporarily discontinued the service of Domination and Horde modes and opened a new mode called GOD mode to provide a more interesting gaming experience. Also, 'Battle Royale Solo', which many people have been waiting for, will soon be released.
The leaderboard error has been fixed and, to show our sincere apology, all members will receive leaderboard rewards (a total of 8 types) for Horde and Domination modes, regardless of their rank.

GOD Mode Beta Open: - GOD Mode Beta can only be hosted by those who have been selected randomly among applicants in order to provide more complete content. : However, participating in a GOD mode game is freely available without any conditions. Other Game Modes: - Domination and Horde modes will be temporarily deactivated. : To provide a better gaming experience based on our members' feedback, they will be temporarily disabled.
Settings: - The design has been changed to a card form for easy access to the Boot Camp. - An option to uncap the maximum frame rate limit has been added.
Game optimization: - The fog system of the battlefield has been optimized to reduce CPU load. - The resource loading method has been changed to optimize loading time. : Optimization will be continuously improved.
Gameplay improvement: - Attacks do not get blocked by a teammate's shield anymore for more aggressive combats. : The grappling hook works the same as before. It gets blocked by the shield. - Throwing Weapons do not collide with teammates to lower the difficulty of the gameplay. - Minimized delay for shield key input. : For M82 weapons, you can use the shield after the bolt action upon firing.
-Changed the rolling mechanic. : Rolling no longer activates when pressing the crouch key while moving, it now only switches to crouch. : You can roll in 2 ways > Pressing the default "C" key. > While crouching, pressing the jump key rolls you in the direction you're looking.

Weapon Balance Adjustments - In addition to the v1.02 patch, more balance adjustments were made to address the issue that users tend to use only certain weapons. - Maximum ammo : Sniper ammo – from 30 to 12 rounds. : Explosive ammo – from 12 to 6 rounds.
- Number of ammo acquired per 1 ammo item pickup : Sniper ammo – from 5 to 2 rounds. : Explosive ammo – from 2 to 1 round.
- Field of view : Sniper rifles – decreased 20% from the original field of view. : Shotguns now have the same field of view as pistols.

Level Balance Adjustment
1) In v1.02 level balance, we found that the frequency of early-game battles was high, resulting in slower mid to late-game tempo. Therefore, we adjusted the balance further to reduce early-game battles and secure more time for looting items while increasing mid to late-game battles.
- Increased maximum map size from 15x15 to 17x17. - Increased the number of monsters spawned by 20%. - Rebalanced gas duration by stage Stage 1: 100 seconds -> 120 seconds Stage 2: 90 seconds -> 100 seconds Stage 3: 80 seconds -> 90 seconds Stage 4: 80 seconds (no change) Stage 5: 60 seconds -> 70 seconds - Fixed an issue where the gas damage was higher than intended. Stage 1: 2% (no change) Stage 2: 4% -> 3% Stage 3: 6% -> 4% Stage 4: 8% -> 5% Stage 5: 10% -> 6% - Reduced drop rate of grenades by 25%. - Excluded the "Spike Trap" gimmick from the map for functionality improvements.
EXP Balance Adjustment 2) We adjusted EXP gained to prioritize higher match rankings by surviving until the end.
- Increased EXP gained according to the team's ranking in a match. - As EXP gained according to match ranking is increased, the following changes apply : Bonus multipliers related to player kills are reduced. : Individual contributions are reflected in EXP gained. : Bonus multipliers are given for every 3 monster kills up to 7 times.
These adjustments reduce the difference in EXP gained among team members. Battle Royale Trio, a team-based competitive mode, has been adjusted for fairness among all team members.
3) As we announced in the last patch, we have increased the number of rewards for the Challenge:
- We have modified the number of rewards for the completion of the Repeated Challenge Season Pass from 3 to 5. - We have increased the rewards for the Daily/Weekly Challenge Season Pass completion by minimum 35% to maximum 200%.
* We plan to continuously adjust the game for a better gaming experience.
Bug fixes: - Fixed the issue where intermittently, if EXP points obtained through gameplay exceeds the number required to complete the Repeated Challenge, the remaining EXP were not applied to the next Challenge. - Fixed the issue where the Leaderboard was not being properly calculated. - Fixed the issue where the Cyclops spawn effect was being processed abnormally. - Fixed the issue where the "mute voice chat" function in the party member settings in the lobby was not working. - Fixed the issue where selecting "view profile" in the party member options in the lobby would cause an abnormal screen transition. : A feature that allows you to view your or the other player's profile will be updated in a future update. - Fixed the issue where the game start button (“Press A Key” button) was intermittently not displayed. - Fixed the issue where intermittently, the tutorial could not proceed on low-spec PCs. - Fixed the issue where intermittently RPG7 shots would not hit but penetrate. - Fixed the issue where the character's hair graphics were broken in-game. - Fixed the issue where intermittently, in the Battle Royale Trio mode, if one team exited the game, no experience points were obtained. - Fixed the issue where intermittently, when an item was deleted from a hideout, other items were also deleted. - Fixed the issue where the character, after being revived by the Common Perk "Rise and Shine!" [Patch 1.03] March 10 (Fri) Maintenance Notice

Maintenance for server stabilization and system improvement will be conducted from 2 p.m. on March 10, 2023 (PST). The major changes that will apply during the maintenance are as follows:
Major Changes:
- 'GOD mode' release - Temporary deactivation of ‘Domination' and 'Horde' modes - Leaderboard error correction and compensation rewards - Preparation for 'Battle Royale Solo' release is completed
Based on feedback from our CLUB members, we have temporarily discontinued the service of Domination and Horde modes and opened a new mode called GOD mode to provide a more interesting gaming experience. Also, 'Battle Royale Solo', which many people have been waiting for, will soon be released.
The leaderboard error has been fixed and, to show our sincere apology, all members will receive leaderboard rewards (a total of 8 types) for Horde and Domination modes, regardless of their rank.

GOD Mode Beta Open: - GOD Mode Beta can only be hosted by those who have been selected randomly among applicants in order to provide more complete content. : However, participating in a GOD mode game is freely available without any conditions. Other Game Modes: - Domination and Horde modes will be temporarily deactivated. : To provide a better gaming experience based on our members' feedback, they will be temporarily disabled.
Settings: - The design has been changed to a card form for easy access to the Boot Camp. - An option to uncap the maximum frame rate limit has been added.
Game optimization: - The fog system of the battlefield has been optimized to reduce CPU load. - The resource loading method has been changed to optimize loading time. : Optimization will be continuously improved.
Gameplay improvement: - Attacks do not get blocked by a teammate's shield anymore for more aggressive combats. : The grappling hook works the same as before. It gets blocked by the shield. - Throwing Weapons do not collide with teammates to lower the difficulty of the gameplay. - Minimized delay for shield key input. : For M82 weapons, you can use the shield after the bolt action upon firing.
-Changed the rolling mechanic. : Rolling no longer activates when pressing the crouch key while moving, it now only switches to crouch. : You can roll in 2 ways > Pressing the default "C" key. > While crouching, pressing the jump key rolls you in the direction you're looking.
- Improved readability of the number of coins obtained in-game. - Changed the color of the aiming guideline to increase visibility : A feature to choose color in future updates.
- Image modification to increase visibility of dropped weapons. - You can now view the map while using medkits, reviving teammates, or takedowns. - Improved the visibility of the character outlines for distinguishing enemies.
Weapon Balance Adjustments - In addition to the v1.02 patch, more balance adjustments were made to address the issue that users tend to use only certain weapons. - Maximum ammo : Sniper ammo – from 30 to 12 rounds. : Explosive ammo – from 12 to 6 rounds.
- Number of ammo acquired per 1 ammo item pickup : Sniper ammo – from 5 to 2 rounds. : Explosive ammo – from 2 to 1 round.
- Field of view : Sniper rifles – decreased 20% from the original field of view. : Shotguns now have the same field of view as pistols.
- Sniper rifles - Range of all weapons decreased 6%. - RPG7: Damage decreased from 600 to 500. - M82: Clip Size decreased from 5 to 3 - Jorbachov: Headshot damage multiplier increased from 1.05 to 2.0. - Railgun: Charging speed decreased from 2.5 to 2 seconds. - Flamethrower: Damage increased from 150 to 200. - Improved movement speed while shield is active : (While blocking with a shield) 25% increase in forward movement speed : (While blocking with a shield) 5% increase in backward movement speed
Balance Adjustments for Cartel * Balancing has been carried out for various Cartel Unique Perks / Common Perks / Special Weapon combinations.
1) Cartel unique perks 1. Nomad - Quick Fingers: Assault rifle / LMG reload speed increased from +10 to +20 - Druggie: Medkit recovery increased from +10% to a fixed amount of +100
2. Vedmak - Beehive: Changed from “increased shotgun blast” to “+15% firing rate for submachine guns”
2) Common perks - Unexpected Side Effect: Medkit recovery increased from +10% to +15% - Firm as a Rock: Shield health increased from +200 to +300 - Prevention is Better Than a Cure: Starting armor +1 in addition to starting medkit +1 - Modified Clip: Weapon magazine +1, except for launchers - Quick Swap: All gun reload times increased by 10%, except for sniper rifles - Ratatat!: Changed from “Assault rifle / LMG / SMG firing rate increased by 25%” to “Assault rifle / LMG firing rate increased by 25%” - Hiker: Grappling hook cooldown decreased from -0.25 seconds to -0.3 seconds - Proficient Pump Action: Shotgun reload speed increased from +50% to +70% - Quick Step: Changed from “movement speed +30% while reloading a sniper rifle” to “movement speed +20% while reloading a shotgun”
3) Special Weapon perks * Balancing has been carried out considering the very low usage frequency due to the cooldown and duration of deployable special weapons (excluding Medical Bot).
1. Barricade - Cooldown decreased from 30 seconds to 15 seconds - The duration time decreased from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.
2. Turret - The appearance of the turret has been changed. - The turret, which attacked in the direction it was installed, has been changed to attack in all directions. - Cooldown decreased from 30 seconds to 15 seconds. - The duration time decreased from 30 seconds to 20 seconds.
3. Smoke Bomb - Cooldown decreased from 20 seconds to 10 seconds. - The duration cooldown of 10 seconds has been removed. - Poison Gas Bullet: Cooldown decreased from +300% to +200%.

Level Balance Adjustment
1) In v1.02 level balance, we found that the frequency of early-game battles was high, resulting in slower mid to late-game tempo. Therefore, we adjusted the balance further to reduce early-game battles and secure more time for looting items while increasing mid to late-game battles.
- Increased maximum map size from 15x15 to 17x17. - Increased the number of monsters spawned by 20%. - Rebalanced gas duration by stage Stage 1: 100 seconds -> 120 seconds Stage 2: 90 seconds -> 100 seconds Stage 3: 80 seconds -> 90 seconds Stage 4: 80 seconds (no change) Stage 5: 60 seconds -> 70 seconds - Fixed an issue where the gas damage was higher than intended. Stage 1: 2% (no change) Stage 2: 4% -> 3% Stage 3: 6% -> 4% Stage 4: 8% -> 5% Stage 5: 10% -> 6% - Reduced drop rate of grenades by 25%. - Excluded the "Spike Trap" gimmick from the map for functionality improvements.
EXP Balance Adjustment 2) We adjusted EXP gained to prioritize higher match rankings by surviving until the end.
- Increased EXP gained according to the team's ranking in a match. - As EXP gained according to match ranking is increased, the following changes apply : Bonus multipliers related to player kills are reduced. : Individual contributions are reflected in EXP gained. : Bonus multipliers are given for every 3 monster kills up to 7 times.
These adjustments reduce the difference in EXP gained among team members. Battle Royale Trio, a team-based competitive mode, has been adjusted for fairness among all team members.
3) As we announced in the last patch, we have increased the number of rewards for the Challenge:
- We have modified the number of rewards for the completion of the Repeated Challenge Season Pass from 3 to 5. - We have increased the rewards for the Daily/Weekly Challenge Season Pass completion by minimum 35% to maximum 200%.
* We plan to continuously adjust the game for a better gaming experience.
Bug fixes: - Fixed the issue where intermittently, if EXP points obtained through gameplay exceeds the number required to complete the Repeated Challenge, the remaining EXP were not applied to the next Challenge. - Fixed the issue where the Leaderboard was not being properly calculated. - Fixed the issue where the Cyclops spawn effect was being processed abnormally. - Fixed the issue where the "mute voice chat" function in the party member settings in the lobby was not working. - Fixed the issue where selecting "view profile" in the party member options in the lobby would cause an abnormal screen transition. : A feature that allows you to view your or the other player's profile will be updated in a future update. - Fixed the issue where the game start button (“Press A Key” button) was intermittently not displayed. - Fixed the issue where intermittently, the tutorial could not proceed on low-spec PCs. - Fixed the issue where intermittently RPG7 shots would not hit but penetrate. - Fixed the issue where the character's hair graphics were broken in-game. - Fixed the issue where intermittently, in the Battle Royale Trio mode, if one team exited the game, no experience points were obtained. - Fixed the issue where intermittently, when an item was deleted from a hideout, other items were also deleted. - Fixed the issue where the character, after being revived by the Common Perk "Rise and Shine!" We've found that the leaderboards opened today are not working correctly.

1. Level(Battle Royale) : As the maximum number of players is changed to 24, we changed the part of the Balance system.

2. Challenge : As we noticed the difficulty of the challenge, we tripled the 'Repeat challenge' reward. Repeat challenge Reward: when you get 5,000 EXP, the progress bar increases by 3 from * Through continuous monitoring, we are trying to improve the overall Challenge system soon.
