Major patch 1.02. Black screen and other fixes
Just a moment ago we’ve deployed a 1.02 patch that addresses a bunch of unfortunate issues which crawled into the release build. A few of you have faced a black screen trying to launch the game on laptops or bugged transition between chapters - to the best of our knowledge, the latest patch addresses them along with a list of other improvements and bug fixes. You can find a complete change log over here.
Let us know on the technical forum or via support e-mail if you’d notice any new issues introduced because of the patch.
For those of you who’re into modding, just a short note that our open-source repository on Github was also updated to version 1.02.
The original user manual has arrived, a patch is coming soon
Today we’re adding a user manual which quite a few of you have asked about following the game’s re-release. The manual is an original version from the Anthology release back in the days, aside from minor legal tweaks. Let us know if there is any other piece of legacy material that you’d like to see - we will do our best to try to recover it. Using the opportunity, we'd like to highlight that you can already find a complete soundtrack and game sketches in Siege of Avalon's installation folder.
We also want to share that we’re carefully going through all the bug reports we’ve received so far. Our team is working on a patch which we aim to release shortly. Thank you for your interest in a CRPG classic, Siege of Avalon!
