We found some little bugs here and there in Alpha 13!! Oopies! :D

You might have noticed there has been some changing of the guard. Chris (I-Game-Art) has departed the project to pursue his career in effects makeup (whoa!). We welcome Xot, longtime steward of http://www.gmlscripts.com/ — a very popular resource for GameMaker Studio users! We also have a little art for your desktops and whatever else you'd like to do from our friend Makku at http://abstractcactus.tumblr.com/

[Patch] Radial Menus

Hello everyone!
We apologize for the lack of updates. Chris, the programmer on the team was was sick for a while, but is back and feeling better! Thusly, we have a new patch for you, though it's smaller than others.


• Inventory Items and NPCs now have a new Dynamic Radial Menu. This makes selecting options more intuitive and easier to understand.

[News] Upcoming Patch!

Hello everyone! I wanted to share the progress we are making with the new update.

• We are reworking the "Cross Menu" into a radial menu

This will fix the issue with "talking" to NPCs, and give us more flexibility with the number of options.
• We will also be adding tooltips to the radial menu so you know what our arcane ruins really mean!
• And more!

[Patch] Notorious Monsters

Chris is back from being sick and has implemented the changed he started on last week!
• Notorious Monsters have been added. Please use the "notorious=1" tag in the monster XML to tag the monster as an NM. We will update the guide soon. An example can be found in m.13
• You can now delete your saved data from the Continue screen.
• When you enter a new dungeon Layer such as B0, you will now recieve a message informing you of what Notorious Monsters are around.

Hello everyone!
You should now be able to claim your Steam Keys on Desura. If you are an Indie Royale customer, please follow the these steps:

1) Log into Indie Royale
2) Locate and claim your Desura key
3) Register your key on Desura
4) Go to the "Collection" page or click this link here
5) Hover over "SilverQuest Gaiden" and select "Your Keys".
6) Copy and paste your Steam Key into the "Activate a Product On Steam" window in Steam.

A window should pop up that will display your Steam Key. Regular Desura purchasers can simply use steps 4 through 7.

PLEASE NOTE:
I have given Desura keys totalling a little over the total number of sales we've had on that platform. We don't expect to make many more sales via Desura, but once the pool of keys are gone, they are gone. If you have issues with this in the future (unlikely), you can email hello [at] wolfgame [dot] com and we'll get you sorted. We will not be generating new keys beyond this pool. Get 'em while they are hot!

If you having an error regarding "You need to get keys from Indie Royale where this game was purchased.", please register your Desura Key on the Desura site. You can create a dummy account if you so desire.

I found this thing where people were able to get their Steam keys without downloading the Desura client. Worth a try if you really REALLY dont want to install anything.

Desura Purchases (Update)

Hello everyone. You may have noticed that Desura does not dispense keys just yet for Steam.

Please note that we are working hard to get everyone who bought our game on Desura directly or via the (Indie Royale) bundle. I'll make this work even if I have to sit here and do it manually dammit.

[News] Week of Jan 4th Update

The update for the week of Jan 4th is anticipated to address the following issues:
• Save Deletion from "Continue" menu
• Unique Monsters (based on this feedback thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/333380/discussions/5/627456486873370500/ )
• The [X] button on menus will close them properly
• Various other UI changes

We'll keep you informed as development continues
