We partnered with EUCL3D, a devoted team that specializes in manufacturing unique gaming merchandise, customized and truly one-of-a-kind. They exist to assist gamers who find it difficult to locate great collectibles, beyond the typical t-shirt, mug, or bumper sticker.
As an extra special bonus gift, each order will be shipped with biodegradable packing peanuts, which dissolve in water. If you want more peanuts, you must order more planes.
If you are interested in owning a materialized token of your own talent and genius, load up your handiwork in SimplePlanes and order a print of your model-to-be inside the game, conveniently accessible in the plane designer menu.

Sandbox Update v1.3.21
Sandbox mode is exploding with new interactive content...
You're not alone anymore. AI aircraft traffic now populate the skies, flying your own planes. Provoke them, and they will fight back. Not only will the planes become hostile, but the sea-craft have defenses of their own as well.
This exclusive update is available only on Steam and includes the new race Lunar Arc, several enhancements to the designer, as well several bug fixes.
Featured in our weekly tournaments, the Sky Cup is only awarded to the best design in its class. A new champion wins every week. Design and submit your own plane to win the next Sky Cup tournament.
This week, planes will race through Bandit Run for the Unlimited Class.
To enter this week's Sky Cup tournament, click here.
Introducing the Sky Cup Tournaments
Every week, we will hold an official racing tournament in SimplePlanes. Submit one of your planes, and we will test its design against a plane from another participant. Both will be controlled by AI, and we will run the simulation here at our office. Earn points for each toe-to-toe match you win. Only the winner moves on. In the end there can be only one.
Want to see your plane fly in the Sky Cup? Watch it live as we will stream the video, or catch it later when we upload the entire tournament to YouTube.
Click here to see a list of tournaments. You can also find a link to the Sky Cup Tournaments in the Stuff menu at the top of SimplePlanes.com.
Rules
Submit your own designs. Predecessors from a design of another player will not be allowed.
You can only submit one plane per tournament. Choose your best.
To keep your plane a secret, you may submit an unlisted plane. However, that plane will become visible to the public once the tournament begins.
Each tournament will be unique, with its own set of rules. Any violation will result in disqualification.
Rewards
The winner of each match will receive a 50 point bonus.
Both planes that face off in the final match will receive a 150 point bonus.
The Sky Cup winner will be awarded a 500 point bonus.
Today's update adds a new input system option in the game. The 'Advanced Settings' dialog allows you to toggle between DirectInput and raw input. This will only affect PCs running Windows. Previously, SimplePlanes was using DirectInput. This has the advantage of joysticks using calibration settings configured in Windows. There are still some users experiencing trouble with certain joysticks though, and we expect raw input to have some better support for these. Changing the input system type will reset key-bindings though, so current users will default to staying on DirectInput and new users will default to raw input. This can be toggled at any time by going to the controls configuration page and clicking the 'Advanced' button to get the advanced settings dialog. From there, just click the checkbox next to 'Use DirectInput' to toggle between DirectInput and raw input. When changing your input type, key-bindings may be lost and the game will need to be restarted for the changes to take effect.
For anyone still experiencing trouble with joysticks, we recommend switching to raw input.
Workshop Beta for Mods
SimplePlanes will soon support Steam Workshop, where players can create and share new mods. We are excited to announce that we will begin beta today.
We are looking for players interested in creating mods, to help us test out the workshop support as well as establish a rich modding scene before our official launch.
Any mod authors interested in joining the beta, please join the SimplePlanes Modders Steam Group to get started.
