🌟🎮 THE INDIE HOUSES STEAM EVENT: CELEBRATING WOMEN IN GAMING! 🎮🌟
Join us from May 25-31 for an exciting weeklong celebration of women in gaming as The Indie Houses proudly presents the Women in Gaming Steam Event, in collaboration with Girls Make Games. This event aims to support the Girls Make Games Scholarship Fund and empower the next generation of game creators.
During this event, we will showcase over 60 incredible games that feature women-led development teams and/or female protagonists. Prepare to immerse yourself in captivating experiences from studios such as Kaigan Games, creators of the acclaimed SIMULACRA series; Keybol Games, the brilliant minds behind Jack Axe; and GameChanger Studio, the masterminds behind the hauntingly beautiful My Lovely Wife and My Lovely Daughter.
Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to explore demos and enjoy special discounts on a wide selection of titles. In addition, we've dedicated a section on the event page to Girls Make Games, where you can learn more about their impactful work and discover the incredible games that girls have created through their program.
By participating in The Indie Houses Steam Event, you're not only indulging in fantastic gaming experiences, but you're also contributing to a meaningful cause. A portion of the proceeds earned by each publisher during the event will be donated to the Girls Make Games Scholarship Fund. This fund combines professional development and financial support, ensuring that underrepresented students have early access to STEAM programs and the opportunity to thrive.
Girls Make Games has been providing an inclusive space for girls and non-binary students to explore the world of video games since 2014. Through their summer camps, workshops, and other initiatives, they have empowered over 23,000 girls in nearly 150 cities across 20 countries.
