Follow the story of Teddy as he tries desperately to break free from the hold of a cursed video game.
His life further falls apart as he starts to forget some pretty important things... He finds messages that he has no recollection of sending and often finds himself blacking out with huge gaps of time missing. And it all started after he downloaded this mysterious free game called "FlappeBird".

Just some small quality of life updates to accommodate for more devices.
MAC OS VERSION AVAILABLE NOW We know that this is long overdue, but hopefully, it's better late than never. SIMULACRA is now available on MacOS. You can get it on Steam or from Apple iTunes.
WINDOWED MODE SIMULACRA simulates a mobile phone and with that, it occupies barely a third of your screen. While the game does lock it to the center, we feel that some people might want to play it on the side while doing other tasks.
You can now enter windowed mode anytime by pressing ALT+ENTER for Windows or ⌥ + RETURN for Mac.

Christmas Update - BEGIN +, Subtitles and SALE!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
In case you didn't know, SIMULACRA is having a 30% discount in conjunction with Steam's winter sale. With that, we also included some quality of life improvements of the game.
BEGIN + After completing the game for the very first time, you have to play the game again in "BEGIN + " mode. It will dramatically increase the text speed for a quicker playthrough to get the multiple endings. Of course, this is not recommended if you still prefer the complete immersive experience
SUBTITLES We messed up on this one. While SIMULACRA is mostly a text-based game, we do have FMV and voice messages scattered throughout. We checked the "subtitles" box without considering that players with hearing impairments will miss out these specific contents. We have since corrected this and enable an option to turn on subtitles. Just go to the HELP section in the Main Menu and turn it on. We want as many people to enjoy this game and hope that this feature will make that easier.

We are happy to announce that SIMULACRA picked up the Best Storytelling and Best Innovation awards in LEVEL UP KL, a Southeast Asian gaming conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The SEA Games Awards is an event held at LEVEL UP KL to recognize the best of games developed in the South East Asia Region.
