Sin Slayers in 2019
Today, when the heroes are dressed up in festive costumes and the whole world is preparing to move into a new decade, we put aside swords and bows with arrows to sum up the most important year for us.
2019 was the most important year for our project. We fought for the attention of the audience on Kickstarter, got a lot of community support, released a demo version, released a full game and even published a few updates and DLCs. Let’s talk about everything in order.
After two years of painstaking development, we decided start crowdfunding. A small step for the team was a huge step for the game. Not everything went smoothly during Kickstarter, but we immediately felt that people needed our project: we got good feedback and ideas from future players, which inspired us to make the game even more interesting. That's when we released the first demo version “Sin Slayers: The First Sin”, that was downloaded more than 100 000 times.
At the end of the summer we released alpha and beta versions of the game, closely followed players feedback, were fixing bugs constantly, read bug reports and tested a lot so players could go on an exciting adventure in the Valley of Fallen Sinners in September.
Now it's time to thank you, our players! Thanks to your feedback, support and enthusiasm, we never got tired of supporting and developing the game. You already could participate in our Halloween event or complete a free Snow Peak add-on, now it's time to try on Christmas costumes and search the Valley of Fallen Sinners for gifts and candy.
Thank you for being with us this year and stay tuned for more updates, we still have surprises in store for you.
Christmas Happiness is out!
Today the Valley of Fallen Sinners is in a festive mood! Your old friends decorated the church with sparkling garlands, lots of gifts and crafted christmas costumes.
Don’t be a stranger, go on an adventure and get "Holiday Candies" for every victorious fight. The inhabitants of the Valley will gladly share them. Lollipops is the new currency of the Goblin Merchant, which will give you access to his special holiday stock, namely Christmas costumes. You can wear them everywhere: in battle, in adventure, in the Tower of Trials, etc. Most importantly, the skins you've earned for your characters will stay with you forever!
List of changes:
The new item is the Holiday Candy, which will drop from enemies throughout the event;
During the event, the Goblin merchant will have new items to buy - Christmas outfits for the heroes. They can be bought for a new event currency;
Thematic redesign of some locations;
During the event you’ll be able to buy four new outfits for your heroes: Defender, Huntress, Inquisitor and Blademaster.

We’re Giving Away Gifts for Community Mods
In previous updates we announced support for Sin Slayers mods. Right now this toolkit allows you to create custom localizations for the game, it means you can change pretty much any text in the game. These modifications allow you to almost create your own story in Sin Slayers world. Write game’s story in a completely different light, translate the game into any language or create a comedy story just like in Hollywood film parodies.
Now to the most interesting news:
We want to support all modders who create cool content. For every quality localization of Sin Slayers, whether it's a parody or a translation into the new language, we'll give the creators a Steam gift card!
We have prepared a guide on how to add your own localization, you can find it in our community hub or click here:
Steam users once again vote for the best game in eight categories.
Sin Slayers is a brutal and bloody world of turn-based battles where every mistake will cost you time and resources. We look at overall stats every day and they show that not many players were able to defeat all Sin Lords.
The Best Game You Suck At Award is probably perfect for our game, when you think that many players have died dozens of times on the first location.
