KSU #29 — Pre-orders and the new hero
Greetings, fellow Sin Slayers! We saw that many of you lost faith when we failed to reach our goal. Some suggested we launch the Kickstarter campaign again, others asked how they could further support development of the project. We at Goon Swarm decided on a different way: as of today, Sin Slayers is available for pre-order on our website!
Want to support the game? Now’s the time! There are three different versions to choose from:
We have other news as well. The Valley of Fallen Sinners is now home to the Warlock, a lazy demon summoner and disciple of dark magic. You’ll have to work hard if you want his assistance, but if you do get him on your side the reward will be worth it.
The Warlock
is a brand new hero for Sin Slayers. His primary role is damage dealer.
His low armor and HP are easily compensated by huge dark magic damage.
The Warlock’s main abilities are magic daggers and dark magic scrolls. His curses and demonic familiars will strike fear even into the hearts of minotaurs. Want a reliable source of damage without depending on luck? Enlist the Warlock!
To find out more about the Warlock, play the full version of Sin Slayers.
KSU #28 — The End
The Sin Slayers Kickstarter campaign has finally ended. Sadly, we didn’t reach our goal, but we did come close.
We are grateful to everyone who supported the project. Thanks to you, we are now certain that Sin Slayers has an audience ready for adventure in the Valley of Fallen Sinners, an audience ready to do battle against the Seven Deadly Sins upon final release.
Speaking of the release, development on Sin Slayers continues. Work on the project never ceased for a minute, and is right now in full swing. We’re planning to release the game in Q3, 2019. Your wait is almost at an end!
Stay tuned for more news from our FB page and Twitter account. You can also visit our Discord server to ask us questions directly. We’ll always be in touch. Be prepared to fight your sins, because they’re almost here.
KSU #27 — The Final Countdown
Twenty-four hours left till the end of the Sin SlayersKickstarter campaign. Twenty-four hours to reach our goal. Twenty-four hours to find heroes ready to embark on a dangerous adventure to destroy seven cursed seals.
Sin Slayers has to this point reached 53% of its goal thanks to 346 backers. We’ve still got a whole day ahead and we’re not giving up. We continue to reach out to gaming news sites, bloggers and streamers. And every day we continue to fill the game with new content, no matter what.
Right now is the best time to support our game if you haven’t already! Help us tell the whole world about Sin Slayers. Every pledge is important for us, as well as every stream, youtube video and Kickstarter comment!
KSU #26 — Push it to the limit!
The Valley of Fallen Sinners is riddled with sin. Every passing moment sees more lost and restless souls entering this bleak world. Rare indeed is the ray of hope shining through the dark clouds cloaking these lands of the damned.
Could it be that no true heroes dwell among these imprisoned souls, ready to risk not only their life but their very existence? Risk everything in order to free these hopeless and damned souls, cursed to wander endlessly in the world between worlds.

Hello everyone!
The Kickstarter campaign is soon coming to a close. We have only three days left to meet our goal, and gather the funds needed to add all planned content and mechanics to Sin Slayers.
At this point, Sin Slayers united 329 backers to pledge 42% of the initial goal.
More than 20,000 people have played Sin Slayers: The First Sin. Together they’ve slain thousands of monsters in the first location of the Valley of Fallen Sinners.
Let’s push it to the limit in these last few days and recruit as many new Sin Slayers as we can!
KSU #25 — Sinfulness
In today’s update we’ll talk about an important in-game mechanic called “Sinfulness”.
While traveling through the Valley of Fallen Sinners, you’ll stumble upon many random encounters. Every single encounter presents you with a choice that will impact your Sin attribute. Should you dig up a grave in hopes of finding treasure or pass it by? Desecrate an altar or pray to an unknown god? Loot a corpse or bury it? Every action will have consequences.
A high Sin level means more valuable treasures, rare items and necessary resources for your adventures. But at what cost? Inexperienced players can easily fall into this trap and end up in the proverbial fire.
There are 5 levels of Sin. With the growth of the “Sinfulness” meter, enemies become stronger and more aggressive. Ordinary monsters and even bosses gain a level bonus, and therefore an increase to all characteristics.
We’re working right now on perfectly balancing this mechanic, but rest assured that by release of the full version of the game, only the hardest of hardcore players will be able to complete Sin Slayers at maximum Sinfulness. But the rewards for this feat will be legendary.
