Bug Fixes
Players didn't start with 50% health upon starting the game, thus not being able to eat their first tender garden gnome.
Some translation errors are fixed.

Some 100% Dungeon achievements was not triggering properly. If a player has 100% in any dungeon, the achievement should trigger whenever entering any scene again.

NEW FEATURES

IMPROVEMENTS
Changed the font family of the Chinese, as well as making a bit larger and easier to read.
Slightly improved overall performance in the overworld.
The main menu now opens quicker when having large save files.
Increased the saturation in Stonedale and Overworld to make it a bit more colorful.
BUG FIXES
Some buildings was not being lit correctly when viewed from far distances in the overworld.
Fixed a bug where the jumping count in achievements was not triggering properly.
Kenny No-Balls' Top Hat could despawn too early, making it impossible to loot.
The Deal-With-It Glasses could be looted from regular Golden Chests in the game. These should now only be lootable in the end of the "Gilded Flying Challenges" (golden pipes in gilded ruins).
Some enemy encounters could not be defeated in the "Gilded Flying Challenges" - making it impossible to get 100% on these levels.
Moveable objects could accidentally be dropped though the world when picked up and placed down.
The Dark And Spooky Forest could not get 100% due to some encounters was not spawning correctly.
Players could get stuck outside bounds in the "Speedrunners Delight" area in the Damp Skeleton Cave.
The IRS Guy could interrupt on-going cutscenes (like speaking to Goddess Cling for example).
Sometimes Ms. Wyvern would not spawn in the final boss battle.
Some rocks contained "holes" in them in The Dark And Spooky Forest.

Localization and other major updates!
Hello Whoopers! We are finally ready to showcase our next major update (version 2.1.0) that we have been working on for the past month!
We've taken notes from the reviews, forums and discord. From that we've prioritized what we think will make the game better for most players, and then.. we did it! Here's a list of what we've done:
⭐Localization support!
Yes, we have finally added support for more languages, so our non-english speaking friends can enjoy Sir Whoopass as well. Currently supported languages are:

Please let us know if any of your native speakers has a more proper translation for any part or aspect of our game; we'd love to improve further upon its appearance so all of you can enjoy it the fullest :)
⭐Redesign of the dodge attack!
We noticed that many of you didn't use the dodge mechanic as often as we anticipated and took the opportunity to redesign it. It has always been intended as an offensive action, and not a defensive action as it often is in other games.
Think of it more as a dash attack than a dodge. We enhanced it's appearance and tweaked the impact of it. We also added a specific enemy, Orc Commander, that only can be defeated by using the attack to give some more variation in the combat system. Happy dashing!
⭐New flying mini-game
Weehoooo! The Coming Soon™ feature in the Overworld has now finally come! Scattered around the landscape are some golden ruins that contains a golden pipe. These pipes leads the player to a new area where you can fly around and collect loot, as well as being knocked down by annoying enemies. Just the way you like it!
Be sure to make your way all up to the top to collect some new highly appreciated loot. There are six dungeons of this kind in the landscape and all are randomly generated to give you players each an unique puzzle to solve.
⭐New end-game boss fight
Be ware of the dragon*! Eggs? Zapp? Spoink? What?
The Immortal finally decides to release the dragon in a more controlled environment to defeat Sir Whoopass, once and for all!
This has been a long requested feature; we've seen that many of you that have finished the game have been dissatisfied with the ending, and felt that there should be a final boss in the game. Now there is, hope you enjoy!
How will it eventually end though? Fire it up and find out!

Steam Deck improvements!
Tooltips have been improved to be much more noticeable. We've been watching your playthroughs on Twitch and seen that some players sometimes miss the tooltips when they are engrossed in combat or other action. Hopefully that will happen a lot less now.
Whoopass attack UI has been revamped. We've added a new HUD element for the whoopass attack, located right below the health bar.
Quest UI has been improved, now you'll get better feedback when a subquest is completed.
Puzzles in Overworld have been improved, now each of the sliding puzzles have a unique image.
More cheese!
Leveling curve adjustment we noticed many players reached max level a bit too quick, so we've adjusted it slightly.
The Bard in Jolly Barrel Inn is now a bit more fun :)
Removed the slow-motion cutscene that would sometimes play when killing the last enemy in an encounter
Throwables can now be thrown a bit further
Added reminders to use dodge and throwables if the player forgets to use them
New sounds for some enemies
New effects and tweaked animations for dodge and throw to make the combat more fluid
Improved dodge and block tutorials

Fixed crosshair sometimes coming back after being disabled

The time has finally come to show you what we've been working on the last month - our first MAJOR UPDATE!
We've taken notes from the reviews, forums and discord. From that we've prioritized what we think will make the game better for most players, and then.. we did it! Here's a list of what we've done:
Main Quest Redesign
We noticed some players did not enjoy getting all the dungeons at the same time. It was difficult to understand which dungeons had to be completed before others. We've grouped the dungeons so that it's clearer which challenge they belong to, and added new quest objectives to reflect that. TL:DR; Less confusion, more fun!
Improved Overworld
We've added lots of new stuff, for example:
new things to interact with to gain loot and powerups
20+ new camps
a new area to explore!
On the forums, we've also heard that people think the respawn rate in the Overworld is too high, so we've halved it. Now you have more time to explore before the whooping starts again!
Optimization
The Overworld is also the area that most players have had performance issues, especially those with slower CPUs. So we've done some work there - playing on a Ryzen 3600 or similar processor (3 y/o, midrange) with a decent GPU should now give you around 60 fps in the overworld on Medium settings.
Improved Dungeons
A lot of players have commented that the game becomes repetitive in the later parts of the game. Because of this, we're overhauled all of the dungeons with lots of new stuff to increase variety and replayability. Here are some of the changes:
Stats: Every dungeon now has stats, such as time taken enemies killed, secrets found, etc. You'll see the new stats screen when you exit a dungeon
Continue: Destroying an energy orb no longer automatically exits the levels. Instead, a portal will open - when you go through this you'll get the stats screen. There you can choose if you want to keep on playing (in case you missed some stuff), or exit the dungeon.
Secrets: Every dungeon now has secrets! This includes collectibles, easter eggs and secret walls.
Lucy-activated traps: Another comment was that Lucy was not being utilized very much in the game. So we added special traps that Lucy can activate, to be used against the enemies!
Exploding barrels: before, these were mostly found in the overworld. Now you can use them in dungeons as well! We've placed them strategically so keep an eye out for them!
Loot chest placement improvements: Some loot chests had awkward placements, we've moved them around for more fun moments!
Orb Guardians: There was not really many enemies protecting the energy orbs, a bit weird since they're what's protecting The Immortal from his enemies. So now we've amped up the security; each orb is protected by mini-boss guardians.
Traps:There are more traps in the dungeons to keep you on your toes!
Flappy Knight Arcades
That's right! You can now get that sweet retro feeling, playing the old-school classic Flappy Knight in the arcade halls hidden all around the game! Four differents arcades can be found.
There are two modes, one that rewards you with a golden chest if you complete it, and another endless mode where you simple earn as many points as possible, competing with other Flappy Knight players for the top spot on the Steam Leaderboards!
Continue Game
You can now continue playing after defeating The Immortal! Since you can re-visit dungeons, you can now try to find all the secrets, loot, enemies and weapons in case you missed it on your first play-through.

We've made two new awesome looking skins for you to get: Unicorn and Octopus Slime!
