Sirius Online

Unstable branch is now live!

Hey people,

we've published a new branch to the game: Unstable! With this branch you can follow the games progress almost daily instead of waiting for a stable patch. Keep in mind that the unstable branch really does mean unstable - it might not run, crash, have unexpected bugs, etc. That's why it's called unstable.

You can subscribe to it by opening the Sirius Online Steam settings and selecting the "unstable" branch under Betas.

Enjoy.

- Xaymar

Build 10041b - Performance Fixes, Working Minimap

Hello younglings! (and oldlings)

Build 10041b brings you a working Minimap, even though not all item types are in the game yet. The Renderpasses from the Godrays have been reduced to 33%. This should bring a lot more performance with a slightly degradation in Godray Quality.

I hope you will continue to Enjoy Sirius Online!

Regards, Dex

Build 10041 - Spaceship Trails, Bugfixes, Godray Performance

Hello Players, it's me!

While we are working hard behind the curtains to bring you new stuff, the Kickstarter and more, I have compiled a new version for you, Build 10041.

Changes

- Updates to the Godrays, Should eat less performance now. I admit, I overdid the strength.
- New Ship Trails system. Longer fans should remember these from way earlier, but they crashed the game due to random errors and more. I revised the code and slimmed it down, making it much more stable (3 Days Permatest!).
- There might be new stuff hidden in the Verse...

To the no_godray Users:

-Please test this build and report back here. If it hits performance too hard, I'll send you an updated NG Build

I'm sorry that this is a small update but stay tuned for something huge coming,

Yours Truly, Dex!
