Skara: The Blade Remains
SKARA is your game
If you take a look at our development blog or our forums, you will notice that we’ve shared the development of Skara with the community from the very beginning. This decision caused us quite a few headaches: People complaining about the low quality of models and animations of early videos, people creating a wish list of features to design, etc.
In the end we are so glad about those headaches, because it turns out what the community demanded are now Skara’s most important features! They created the faction system, they forced us to change the targeting system from automatic to manual (and the game is so much better because of it), etc.
The community has also been very active helping us out on social media, promoting our Kickstarter project, convincing friends to join our community… This game doesn’t belongs to us, Skara belongs to you.
Although we could not be more happy with the response from the community so far, we are always looking for better and more efficient ways to communicate and interact with you, so that Skara really does feel like your game. We also want to make sure everyone’s voice gets heard.
ABOUT TRELLO
So we’ve developed a Trello site during the Early Access for you to vote and propose the next features and even when you want to see them in the game. You will be able to choose from among several options concerning armor and weapon design, propose ideas for the faction mode or suggest ways to balance player skills. Our hope is that using this democratic system will allow Skara to be a game created by gamers, for gamers.
ABOUT TWITCH
Every Friday we’ll stream Twitch games with the development team playing Skara, showing new features and of course answering all your questions. There will be a stream convenient for US time and for Europe time, though these are easily changeable--another good reason for you to give us some feedback!

I hope you enjoy the experience and see you on the battlefield!
